I do 31 May 2022: Zoya gets down beside tanveer to pray. tanveer apologises to the lord, remembering the massacre that she caused. Asad and zoya’s pic, placed on the bed stand, is thrown in the air due to the gush of wind through the window, and falls on tanveer’s hands held up to pray, and cuts the sides of her finger. she lets out a sharp pain as blood gushes out, and sanam instantly comes to see her, and is shocked and baffled to find that an old pic of her parents, could have had such sharp edges that it managed to cut tanveer’s hand. tanveer says that o0ld memories hurt the most and applauds her for getting this pic here, and that soon she shall know the importance of meds. sanam insits to bandage, but tanveer says that she would manage herself before going to the dargah.
Tanveer and latif are moving out, when latif goes to look around for the driver. A peer baba comes asking for alms. she welcomes him inside. he tensedly approaches her, while she takes money out of the bag. he says that he doesnt need money. she asks what does he need. he says that he wants her betrayals, traps and conspiracies. she gets tensed. He says that the lord wont easily forgive what she has done, as she remembers her massacre. he says that the lord shall not forgivbe till, she leaves her bad tricks and prays for forgiveness. Tanveer is tensed to hear the peer baba, who says that her time has come, and that the lord has finally decided to punish her for her deeds and that he shall see that justice is meted out to her. she is tensed.
she starts hollering for security and the driver, but he says that noone shall come.She sits in the car, while he rants and leaves. she thinks that its must have been some mad man, as she has completely buried the memories of the past and that her past will never ever spring back to life.haya is tensed not finding dilshad in the house. She rushes iut to talk to rahat about it. haya thinks that maybe dilshad doesnt know it yet, that they have returned. Rahat calms her dopwn saying that she would come soon. but she is still tyensed. he finds a letter, which he gets tensed after reading. Haya finds that its written, that we are going to distribute sweets for eid at the badi masjid. She thanks him. She shyly smiles and moves away, while he eyes her romantically.
Later, when haya comes out tensed, she finds that the room is romantically set and rahat comes and beckons her to take his hand and come along. She complies and walks with her hand in his. he takes her to a seating area, and eyes her romantically,. while she is baffled. He asks her to sit down and then sits in front of her. haya is tensed for dilshad but he calms her down, and says that he wants to say something to him. She asks if thats what he was saying in the shed. he complies and says that he couldnt say it then, but feels that now its time. before he can say anything, sanam calls and when she gets to know that they have returned, and hyaya is tensed for dilshad, she tells him about dilshad. haya is terribly tensed. rahat hears this and cancels the call. Haya eyes him questioningly.
Asad enters his room, to find a birthday cake with a candle lit kept on the table. He is surprisingly pleased to see it. He reprimands himself for even thinking that tanveer could forget it. he goes to see her. she is however tensed to remember what happened with her in the afternoon. Ahil comes and thanks her for remembering adding that he felt since she didnt say anything, she must have forgotten. Tanveer feigns innocence and says that she doesnt know what he’s talking about. Ahil asks her to remember when did he get married and why. but she doesnt remember. Tanveer tells ahil that she is going out somewhere very important and would be back soon. After she leaves, without wishing him, Ahil wonders that if tanveer didnt keep the birthday cake then who did.
He eyes sanam and wonders whether she was behind this. Sanam understands this and is about to walk out, when ahil repeatedly asks her if she got the cake for him. She complies. he asks why and she says that its because its his birthday today. he is happy that she remembered. she says that since it was ramzaan, she thought, and he interrupts her asking what was the motive behind her doing this. she asks whats the matter. he says that she never does anything without motive, and asks what does she want not. she says that he is right, and that without any motive why would she remember but she does have a reason, and thats everything revolves around his marriage and his birthday, and blames it for her helpless condition in this loveless marriage, and hence she has no option but to remember this ill fated day, when he benefitted crores.
He says that if he benefitted, then she too wasnt in loss. she says that a person whose life revolves around money, cant think beyond that. She asks him, to think whatever he wants to, as changing him is impossible, and she isnt intended. she asks him to throw away the cake as she isnt bothered. she storms out of the room, while he is tensed. he eyes her.Ahil comes and eyes the cake in a rage and is about to throw it off, when he stops. He starts eyeing the cake, and is taken back to the time when his birthday was disregarded and unremembered by everyone, but had faith on tanveert atleast.
He thinks that of all the people, for the first time, only one person remembered his birthday. He thinks that his existence is only due to all the strangers in his life, especially that his own mother along with everyone else too forgot about his birthday. he puts the cake down and alights it. He bloes the candle off and starts singing the birthday song to himself, sad and disturbed. The screen freezes on his face, as tears stream down his cheeks.haya is apalled to see dilshad’s condition in the hospital and she rushes away from there, while rahat comforts her, saying that she is better and the operation is successful, and she would recover soon.
haya expresses her desire to meet her once. Rahat says that they would do so in the evening, but haya insists that she wants to hug her just once, and breaks into tears inconsolably. rahat is tensed.Later, haya is still tensed for dilshad, when sanam comes and asks her to calm down as dilshad would be okay soon. haya apologises to sanam that she had to bear it all alone. sanam says that she is okay and that tanveer took care of everything and she doesnt need to be bothered. Haya is shocked to find her attire. the nurse refers to sanam as Mrs. Abrahim and haya is shocked. She asks whats the matter, and sanam tells her that she would explain everything to her.
sanam is in tears, remembering ahil’s stinging remarks, and wonders how can he think like this, particularly about her, especially after she remembered his birthday and kept a cake for him, but he insulted her as usual, and that she thinks that he is beyond salvation. she says that he cant do anything for anyone, and if she tried, he doubted her evilly. Asma finds her crying, and knocks on her door. She composes herseeing asma. Asma comes and asks whats this happening. Asma tells sanam, that they all know that this marriage has been under some helpless conditions, which is still a secret but even then, whats she doing in some other room and that rightfully ahil’s room is hers now. Sanam sits speechless and tensed.
She says that she hopes that the marriage isnt against sanam’s wuill. sanam says that she should let be, as whats done is done, and talks about the dreams that she had of her marriage. sanam says that now she understood that after praying, destiny doesnt change. asma asks if tanveer knows she is here and not in ahil’s room. Sanam refuses and asks her not to tell it too, to her as she would be bothered. she says that she chose this life for herself and would have to learn to be happy in this. Asma says that its true that destiny is meant to be done, but its also true that what happenes is for the best and she feels so in her heart and that the lord shall do everything right.
sanam thanks her for her support. Asma leaves. azhar’s parents hear this and are surprised. They discuss that sanam still stays in the servant’s quarter instead of ahil’s room, and that this marriage isnt as it seems to be. She decides to call up the lawyer. Azhar’s mother changes her voicetone, and talks to the laywer to tell him, about the sham behind this marriage, which has been done to befool him, nd get hold of the property and that sanam can never be deserving of this marriage, as she is a servant after all. She tells about their separate rooms too. The lawyer asks her to identify herself as to how she knows about all this.
She diverts the topic and says that if he doesnt believe it, he may come down himself and see. the lawyer says that he shall have to verify this, and azhar’s mother invites him.At the dining table, tanveer enquires about ahil from sanam. She is speechless. latif says that he hasnt come yet. tanveer asks why. sanam says that she doesnt know, and tanveer asks her to call him up and find out why the delay, as they should have their meals together till ramzaan ends. A doorbell ringing, makes sanam go and find that the lawyer has come, who says that he has a very important work with her and tanveer.
azhar’s parents are tensed. tanveer is tensed as to why he came here unannounced. Tanveer asks the lawyer what caused this visit. The lawyer says that he got to know that she got this marriage done due to the property. tanveer is shocked and sanam is tensed. Tanveer is flustered. Sanam too comes in. the lawyer starts interrogating and asks if sanam was a servant here before this, and that her marriage to ahil was decided at the last minute. tanveer is unable to give a convincing answer. The lawyer tells what he heard from the mysterious phone call. tanveer is tensed, while sanam is shocked. The lawyer asks if her silence should be taken as agreeing to what he said.
tanveer says that this isnt the truth, and asks how did he think of such things, and where he got this info, and is trying to instigate him against out family. she demands for proof. rehaan comes tensed. The lawyer says that he wants to see for himself, ahil’s reaction when he comes home, without knowing that the lawyer is here too. they are tensed, while azhar’s mother smiles. Ahil comes inside just then, and all get tensed. He is surprised to see them too. Sanam is tensed. Ahil progresses towards them, while all stand tensed.
He excuses himself for two minutes. As he goes to his room, there’s visible tension. Just then ahil comes back and makes up an excuse that he was told that the dresses she ordered for would come in some days. sanam is shocked, and azhar’s parents are surprised. tanveer smiles. sanam is still in a state of shock. Ahil behaves like a husband should with his wife, and talks to her lovingly. She follows his suit quietly. They get down to dinner. ahil asks if he got the papers. Tanveer says that the lawyer had a very important work, and explains why the lawyer is here. Ahil pretends to be shocked, while the lawyer is embarassed.
Azhar’s parents are surprised. Ahil says that talks would go around, and says that his marriage with sanam is the best thing that happened to him. Sanam is awkward but teams along. Ahil tells the lawyer that sanam maybe here as a cook, but their fates were intertwined when sanam held a Dhaba in the past, when his heart said that this is the girl who’s different from the restr. Sanam relives her horrific memories of those. ahil says that destiny played a strange game with them, therefore their hearts met and hence her destiny brought her to bhopal. the lawyer hears intently. He says that of all places, she got a job here.
rehaan is disturbed. Ahil tells the lawyer that he got a little late in doubting, as some months back, had this been the matter, ahil would have laughed it off.While ahil is baring out his true heart holding sanam’s hands in his, everyone thinks that he is just pretending, he says to sanam that as he got to know her, he started falling in love with her, and the little girl inside her, until finally he started loving her unconditionally and irrevocably. Ahil looks at sanam in the eye, while she is stumped. Rehaan is distraught. Tanveer smiles.
Sanam is shocked while the lawyer is convinced at ahil’s confession, as he bares out why he likes sanam, her simplicity, her independance, her dreams, and hopes, her sense of right and wrong, and unfailing love to people. Branding hers as a heart of gold, he says that even if he didnt want, he came close to her and fell in love with her. rehaan is tensed, while tanveer smiles. Ahil continues saying that he has heard a lot about love, but never believed it, but today he is forced to believe all that, about love not following rules and logic, and being uncontrolled.
Ahil asks the lawyers to get the papers ready, as thery both are soon going on a long due vacation for honeymoon. all are shocked. the lawyer apologises for his mistake. tanveer gives them permission to go to their room. Ahil extends his elbow to her, to go to the room. she is shocked, but places her arm around his, and walks along with him, passing by a disturbed rehaan. they walk up to their room, while all watch. tanveer asks the lawyer if his doubts are cleared, and if there is anything else that he would have to question. he again apologises and says that he would get the papers ready. he leaves. tanveer smiles, while azhar’s parents are tensed that tanveer might know that its them.
Ahil enters along with sanam, hand in hand still, while she is at discomfort. He throws the remote on the bed, and then takes her hand. Inside the room, ahil jerks sanam around, while she is shocked. Ahil tells sanam that she must be intelligent to know that whatever happened outside was a sham and pretense, and she doesnt need to believe it, and that from this day onwards she shall sleep in this room only. He says that there are lots of questions regarding this marriage, hence the drama and so to preserve the identity of the marriage, they have to do this. he reminds her that he may do all the drama, but she shouldnt forget her limits. Sanam says that she wont, and if his drama is over, she would like to be excused, as the lawyer would have gone by now, and she wants to retire to her room.
She is about to open the door, when he stops her saying, that till all this is sorted out, she would have to sleep in this room only with him. She is tensed. He excuses himself to sleep. He takes off his shoes, and lies down, while sanam is shocked. she asks where would she sleep, as there’s just one bed, and no sofa too. He says that he knows, and tells her to sleep in the same bed, but with her face facing the other side. He turns around himself. sanam sits on the bed in disgust and then finally lies down. They lie down on the bed, each facing away from the other, going as distant as possible on the bed. they both feel chilly, and as they both get up to take the blanket, their hands collide, and an awkward romantic moment follows.
but finally ahil takes the blanket, while she gives it to him, and wraps the duaptta around her, to escape the chill. ahil senses her discomfort and is tensed. He gets on top of her and shocks her, while asking whats her problem and if she cant sleep instead of tossing and turning around. she complies. He lies down yet again, while she too turns silently to sleep.Downstairs, rehaan is tensed and expresses his concern for sanam being in ahil’s room for the night, while tanveer explains why is it needed.
Tanveer assures him that sanam would divorce ahil in 3 months, and then she would be married to him, and still remain the bahu of this house. He is tensed. tanveer excuses to retire, while he eyes the closed door of ahil’s room. As ahil wakes up hearing the sound of the alarm, he finds sanam praying, while sitting on the floor, and is surprised and mesmerised as he is unable to take off his eyes from her, while she is obliviously praying. After she finishes, she gets up and finds him awake, asks him to come down on time for sehri. he complies.
As munisa comes in talking on the phone, with shoaib, about how soon she would get him back in the house, she is surprised to find rahat staring at her. she cancels the phone, and asks if he got the note. He complies and clarifies that she had written ‘us’ and that created a huge confusion about she going out with dilshad. she clarifies that she had gone out with some friends for ID. He asks why didnt she tell that dilshad was in the hospital, and that she could actually be so careless to be partying when a family person is in the hospital. she asks whats the big deal, and that dilshad isnt of this hosue, and is just staying here, and its obvious for her at her age to be in the hosiptal, and she doesnt want to ruin her life caring for her. He tries to say, but she says that she doesnt care, and indirectly says that haya is instigating him again her, and he is talking like this to his own sister.
she says that he would start behaving badly now, and she knows whats going on with him and haya, and that haya is nothing but a problem, and one day she would break his heart so bad, that he wont be able to recover. Hew is tensed. but they both are shocked, when they find haya, in tears listening to everything she said.rahat comes to her room, and finds haya packing, and tries to talk her out of it. haya says that she saw what she had to, and that she is leaving this house, and that due to her, dilshad wasnt able to have been taken care of, and munisa and he have to bear so much, and henmce its in everyone’s best interests that she leaves. Rahat doesnt say anything, and leaves in a huff. She is tensed.
While ahil is busy on the phone reprimanding employees for being slow and inefficient, and sanam getting irritated at all that, he tries searching around for somethings like the watch, wallet and glares, and when he doesnt find them in his anxiety, sanam silently keeps them on the bed. He is shocked as he continues finding them one by one on the bed. he looks at her surprised, as he catches her keeping the glares. He cancels the call and extends his hand for her to give it to him, but she places it back where she had found it, much to his shock. He takes it himself. The screen freezes on his face.
