Ganga is busy preparing for zoya’s case, with her, when raahat comes and asks her to have food, since she hasnt eaten anything. she then calls zoya too. ganga complies. just then, she gets supriya’s call and she gets happy after talking,

supriya points out that sagar is very concerned for her, and she abruptly cancels the call, getting emotional. they all sit down to eat. ganga wonders how they used to understand each other, without saying, but today they dont have any trust.
Location: sagar’s residence
Sagar remembers ganga’s vehemence, on his withdrawal from the case, and is tensed. ammaji comes and ask whats the matter. he then asks what could it mean, if a person known to you for long, behaved odd. she says that it could be, due to a big reason, intentionally, or for betrayal. he hears intently. she asks who is he talking about. he diverts the topic. she asks him to think straight from the heart, as he cups her face in her arms. he falls asleep.

After sending everyone off, madhvi is busy getting dresed, when ammaji comes and is particularly tensed when told that niru took over zoya’s rape case. madhvi finds this weird and asks whats the matter. she is insistent, while ammaji is tensed.
Zoya arrives with ganga in the court, and gets upset when rudra is brought in. then raahat asks about sagar, as everyone else has arrived. ganga wonders maybe sagar did get sense, after her telling him. but she is disappointed when sagar presents himself for the case. the judge sits and the proceedings start. ganga presents herself for prosecution, and demands his permission and is granted the same. then sagar presents another lawyer,
Mr. R. P. Joshi, after remembering how she wanted him to back off, and thinks that he is used to being betrayed by continuously trusting her. raahat is relieved that zoya isnt fighting against her own brother. she eyes him tensedly. the judge explains how due to emergency circumstances, he had to shift this case to someone else. they are shocked when they find that its Mr. Niranjan, sagar’s father. rudra and sagar stand tensed.
raahat is shocked too, lamenting at the irony of destiny. she wodners which relation she would have with sagar. they both start their arguements. niru asks them both to be strictly professional, and not get personal. he leaves for inside. niru eyes zoya the girl. sagar and ganga wait. the interrogation begins, and nikhil starts producting his whereabouts. then she sends them off. niru then finally warns them that there shall be a contempt next time they fight amongst themselves. ganga too produces it when the envelope must have been called.
Niru is taken aback, and so is raahat. the lawyer produces medial reports, that show that zoya hasnt even been raped, and the male samples retrived are not of rudra, on the claimed murder weapon. she rubbishes it all. zoya speaks up saying that its totally false. rudra stands tensedly. while ganga is shocked. she is unable to believe the report. they cry out for niru’s result.
Ganga vehemently protests that sometimes, the reports shouldnt be fully believed on. she begs niranjan justice for zoya. but niranjan after hearing and seeing the facts, he discards the case, saying that he empathises for women and stands for them, when they are wronged, but he wouldnt allow them to take advantage of the law. he aqcuits rudra of all charges, and slaps a fine of 25000 on zoya, for misleading the court and defamation suit against rudra. he leaves after adjourning the court.
Sagar and rudra are relieved, but he is tensed for ganga, who is shocked, and raahat is devastated. he comes to her, but ganga shuns him away. he leaves with pulkit and rudra. ganga takes raahat and zoya outside, as the people start talking bad about zoya. outside, ganga asks them to wait while she arranges an auto. but she meets sagar instead, on the road, and their verbal duel follows, as she is talking to him, suggesting that he bought evidence, while he asks how is this possible. he tries to clarify but ganga doesnt listen. they both keep pointing that the other person is wrong. finally, he storms off. ganga catches an auto and takes zoya and raahat home.

Ganga is distraught remembering what happened. raahat is deavstated too. they hear some noises, and find zoya trying to take her life, by committing suicide. they barely manage to save her, and then raahat has to slap her to get her back in senses. they together explain and motivate her not to give up like this, while zoya is apalled. ganga is distraught to see her in this state, while raahat is enraged.

ammaji roams around nervously, while madhvi notices this. she is about to question her, but supriya stops her, asking about market instead. madhvi complies, and gets ready to go with her. ammaji is tensed hoping that niru and raahat dont talk much, and their past comes up. as supriya is about to go out, ragini asks about her brother. sagar coems in with rudra, and ragini is excited. the brother-sister duo overwhelmingly hug each other. then ammaji is relieved to know from sagar that rudra was acquitted. she takes niru aside.
madhvi observes this, and tries to go, but supriya reminds her, and she leaves for the market with her. Inside, the room, ammaji tries to take it out from him, if anything happend, and on her insistence, he gets frustrated, and says that he wont be influenced by raahat’s presence anymore. he says that he taught a good lesson with zoya and raahat. they hear raahat’s screams outside just then, and rush out and are shocked to see raahat standing there. he asks whats she here for. raahat shuts ammaji, when she tries to speak. then Raahat gives niranjan a box of sweets, and taunts niru, in his house, that today is a special day, as a father punished his daughter, and a brother was ashamed to have found out the truth first. all are shocked to hear this. The screen freezes on ganga’s distraught face.
Rahat reveals to Niranjan that Zoya is his daughter and because of him, she tried to commit suicide today. Niranjan refuses to believe it. Rahat says she had come to Amma when she was pregnant, but she didn’t let her meet him. Amma says she never came and is lying now. Ganga says she thought Amma is religious and wouldn’t take wrong swear on her God. Sagar gets angry and asks Ganga to leave from there. He says she’s so changed and it’s all because of Rahat whom she knows from just now. She says she is not changed, it’s his family who has changed. It’s shame that a judge like Niranjan failed to see what’s right and what’s wrong. No girl would complain about getting raped and spoiling her life unless it really happened. She says she has full faith on Rahat and Zoya and will fight in high court.
Other hand, Zoya comes to meet Rudra. Rudra asks why she accused him for something that he never did. Zoya says because she loves him and she had given him choice to run away. Rudra says he loved her because he didn’t know Akhtar was her husband. She tells him if he marries her, then she will take all charges back. He says court has already proved him innocent, but she says who is going to believe him.
Everyone will think he made false reports by giving money. He says he has never seen such a disgusted woman. She says she’s doing all this because she loves him. If he doesn’t marry her, then she will commit suicide. She takes out knife. Rudra says people like her can only kill others, not themselves and sad thing is that Ganga believed her and risking her career behind her case.
Sagar and Pulkit come to Niranjan. He tells them that he liked Rahat once, but he never got any letters or such from her. He doesn’t get it why Rahat is lying about all this after years. He tells them that this was his past and he never let it come between him and their mother. He has always been loyal in their relationship. Sagar says they trust him. Their mother comes there too
