Curse of the sands 2 September 2021: Shiv gets the flashes of Mohini as Sunanda enters the police station. He was at once restless and felt she was somewhere around. The lady inspector calls Sunanda and asks what she is looking for.
Sunanda request the lady to leave her daughter Sunanda, she was stuck here. She will pray for her and a mother’s wish always come true. Ananya goes after Sunanda. Shiv jerks the thinking away and thinks this is Banaras, the city of Mahadev. A witch like her cannot survive here.
At home, Dadi was crying that Sunanda has played some magic over her children. What if Sunanda took her Ananya as well? Ketki calms Dadi as Ananya will be right there. Rekha’s husband asks her for some money as fare, he would go on an auto and bring Ananya. Dadi pays him the money.
Outside the house, he makes a call that he would reach soon.
Sunanda requests the police officer to spare her daughter, she didn’t commit any crime. Her respect and grace will be at stake if she is caught in jail. The officer tells her that Ananya can only be taken on bail. Sunanda senses Shiv’s presence while he pass right from the door. She felt Mann was around somewhere, and takes the seat. Ananya was tensed for her mother.
She tells the officer that according to CPC 1973 Section 46, a girl cannot be arrested in the evening without a lady constable. She will take the matter to the press and they will be sacked off their seat. The officer allow her to go home. Outside the office, Sunanda asks Ananya how she came to know about it. She was worried that had her father known about it, he must have killed them both.
In the lockup, Shiv requests the Hawaldar his phone for a few minutes. He will have to call someone for bail purpose. Sunanda was attracted towards him, and walks back into the police station. Ananya takes her back home. Shiv was allowed to make a call.
Sunanda and Ananya were leaving the police station when Rekha’s husband was brought there. He had his face hidden under a cover, and thinks now he will be able to control the daughter in law, Sunanda as well. Shiv wonders where he got stuck.
Sunanda and Ananya come home. Dadi comes beating Sunanda as she took Ananya along. Sunanda says she wanted to treat Ananya’s birth chart defect and took her to temple. Dadi asks why she didn’t inform anyone. Sunanda takes the thaal and goes inside with Sunanda.
Outside the police station, Shiv thanks Pramilla and the lawyer. Pramilla says he must live with them in the PG. Shiv says he will never forget her favor.
Sunanda comes to Ananya’s room and place her hand over her head. She asks Ananya who that guy was, how she was trapped in all this. Ananya says she left in anger, hit his scooter and fought with him. Then, some goons tried and harass her, so he fought against them for her. Sunanda now inquires about the temple incident and the Gathbandhan. Ananya says it was the same guy there, and tells her the whole story about the ritualistic wedding. Sunanda asks her to introduce her the next time she meets the guy, she wish to see who he is. She turns the lights of the room off when Ananya lay to sleep. Outside the room, Sunanda thinks there is something for sure; as all these coincidences can’t take place at a time. She has a generation’s long relationship with him, and now sense his presence around. She makes a call, so as to meet and track Mann. She was determined to find answers to everything.
One of the customers was insulting Kamal’s sweet. Ananya walks out of the house. She goes watching the Kaka frying Khoya and goes to correct his ways. She now prepares the sweet and asks Kaka to taste her sweet. Kamal watches her click the photo of the sweet, and sends it with Kaka. Kamal watches her there. He scolds her for being here and tells her to go inside. Kaka forces the complaining client to taste the new Barfi. The client was appreciative of the sweet now and orders 2 pounds of it. Kamal takes her into the corner and reads, ‘Panday and Sons Misthal”. He got this shop from his father because he was a son, but Ananya isn’t a son. Ananya says she is his only child. Kamal says this is what Ananya feels, not him.
Shiv had come looking for the sweets from Panday Misthal. He finds Ananya crying in front of the shop and wonders if this girl stalked him here as well. He turns to leave. Tears from Ananya’s eyes fell off the floor. Shiv could sense something and turns around to find her wipe her tears. She was unwillingly attracted towards Ananya.
Sunanda came from behind Shiv and stopped by his presence near Ananya.
Shiv wonders what is happening to him, why this girl’s tears trouble him. Ananya wipes her tears and was determined to prove herself to her father, and spread this chain of Panday Sweets across the world. She turns around and hits Shiv. She was about to fell down, Shiv holds her by her hand. Inside the house, Sunanda senses Mann’s presence due to the blowing wind. She thinks Mann must be somewhere around. Ananya straightens up and walks towards the house, her chunri held back by tucking in Shiv’s watch. Both face each other.
Sunanda unlocks a bowl in her cupboard. She thinks this Diya will now point towards Mann. She holds it in the balcony, and says this flame is stiff and stable even in stormy winds. This shows he is around, somewhere in this crowd. She bends down but was unable to spot anyone. Dadi comes from behind and shouts what Sunanda is upto. She had been calling her. Sunanda sniffs but was left clueless. She turns around and goes with her mother in law.
Ananya removes her chunri from his wrist watch and pushes Shiv away. She warns him not to enter her street again. She spots Kamal coming towards them and runs into the house. Shiv wonders how strange, the girl disappeared as a ghost.
Dadi mistreats Sunanda as she inquires where they had gone the other day. Rekha’s husband come home. He pulls them both up, then sends Sunanda to the room. He convinces Amma ji not to maltreat her. Dadi complains that she loves her granddaughter, but this Sunanda exercises excessive control over her.
Shiv comes to his room and thinks about Ananya. The holds her earring. He receives a call from Dai Maa. He says there is a head ache in his life, and it has made his life tough. Dai maa was concerned if it’s a migraine. He says it’s a girl. Dai Maa complains that he chose a girl and didn’t even share. She offers to come over and fix his marriage. She wish that witch moves away from him as soon as possible. Shiv tells Dai Maa there is no place for love in his life. He doesn’t wish any girl be trapped in the curse which took over his family generations ago.
Ananya had prepared a plan for Panday and Sons Sweets. She types a social media post and promotes it. Sunanda comes to her room and says, she must call it Panday and Daughters Sweets. She was at once tensed and says Amma ji was inquiring; but she couldn’t tell her Ananya had been stuck with a stranger in jail.
She tells Ananya not to worry, a guy has been written in her fate. Ananya clarifies he is just a crazy lover behind her, but she fixed him well and he won’t come over again. Sunanda asks if she met him once again. Ananya says she met him outside the house today. Sunanda was happy as it seems the guy is Mann. She asks Ananya to introduce her to the guy as well, she wish to see him. Ananya tells Sunanda she is left with little time to fulfil her dream, so forget about any guy.
Shiv receives a letter from the incharge. Pramilla comes to him and inquires the reason for his worry. He says he has to vacate his room within 24 hours. Pramilla offers him to shift at her place with all the luggage. Sunanda comes upstairs with a glass of milk. Rekha hits her from behind and the milk spills over. A cat comes to feed on the milk and dies. Everyone gather around in tension, and thinks the milk must be poisonous. It may be an attempt to kill her. Everyone curses Sunanda. Dadi questions if Sunanda wants to gulp her property by killing her. Ananya comes to protect her mother and insists her mummy can never do any such thing. Rekha and Dadi were on a single page, and blame Ananya for being thankless and insensitive. Ketki and Rahul take the cat to bury it. Ananya eyes this and goes behind them.
Shiv was with a property agent in search of a house.
The cat wasn’t dead. Rahul and Ketki brings it to a garden, and laughs that there was a misunderstanding at home. Their father will take money from Dadi as well. Ananya had recorded the conversation and says she will show it to Dadi now.
Ketki and Rahul discuss how they had planned a trap against Sunanda. Ananya had recorded the conversation and says she will show the video to Dadi now. Rahul says he won’t spare her easily.
He chases Ananya across the street. Ananya hits someone and fells over him. It was Shiv. They get up. Rahul comes there. Ananya provokes Shiv to beat this man now, like he had beaten those goons the other day. Rahul pulls his sleeves up and punches Shiv. Shiv’s eyes flash black, he reads the Mantar his mother taught him, to stay calm. He confronts Rahul. Ketki tells Shiv she is their sister, it’s a family matter. Shiv blames Ananya to be a liar. Ananya grabs her purse and phone from the road side and runs again.
At home, Dadi inquires Sunanda who would save her now. Rekha’s husband suggests Amma ji about calling Pandit ji, a cat died at their place. It’s an omen that life of an elderly is endangered. They will have to serve a gold cat now. Ananya reaches the main door. Ketki struggles to grab the phone but Ananya brings the phone inside. Dadi was about to pay the money to her son in law but Ananya stops her. She tries to play the video in phone but it was corrupt. Ananya says Rahul had to tell her something. She walks to Rahul and whispers that it was his first mistake, he himself may tell this else if Dadi watches the video, she will throw them out of the house. Rahul tells Amma ji that the cat is alive, Sunanda didn’t do anything. Ananya brings Sunanda close to Dadi. Dadi backs up, agreeing it wasn’t her mistake. Ananya demands Dadi to say sorry now. Dadi says she would surely kill her tomorrow, if not today. The ladies walk away. Ananya warns them not to plan anything against her and her mother, else the video would go viral next time. Rekha protects her children from their father.
Shiv tells Dai Maa that he had almost lost control over himself today. Dai Maa was clueless how they were related, as he and the girl coincidentally meet each other. What if it’s a clue that they have to look together? Shiv was irked. Dai Maa was sure he is close to MahaDev, and He will be taken care of.
Rekha and her husband bring Pandit ji home. On their way, they discuss to trap Amma ji without anyone knowing about her. At home, they introduce Pandit ji to Amma ji and says Pandit ji wished to meet the elderly of their family. Pandit ji reads her forehead and threatens that death is around. Amma ji asks him some remedy. Pandit ji says they will have to arrange Maha Murtunjay Jaap. This will take her to her real protector. Amma ji hurries to temple after Pandit ji has left. Sunanda watches Dadi leave, and thinks she only wish her Mann and Ananya meet together.
Rahul brings a young boy to rob Nani’s neck chain. He plans to fake beating them as Nani’s protector. On the way, Nani comes across two real goons who walk besides her. Shiv was still walking with the real estate agent in search of a house. The goons snatches Nani’s chain and run to the opposite direction. Shiv looks towards the goons and throws a knife towards them, which hits one of them straight. He beats the others. Nani recalls Pandit’s mention of a protector. Shiv brings the chain to Nani and requests to pray for resolution of his problem. Nani offers him to stay with her at her place. Shiv thinks about something for a while, then comes with Nani.
