Anupamaa 29 August 2023: Kavya tells Anupama that she took undue advantage of Anupama’s goodness and snatched her husband, thanks god that Anuj came in Anupama’s life or else she would have died out of guilt thinking Anupama lost her husband because of her. Barkha murmurs that poor woman was dying of guilt earlier for snatching Anupama’s husband and now thinking what kind of a husband she stole. Ankush says let us hear. Kavya tells Anupama that Bholenath watches everything and hence Anupama is blessed despite being ruined and Kavya is ruined even after destroying Anupama’s house. Anupama asks why is she repeating history. Kavya says she is trying to stop history from repeating again. Anupama asks whom. Kavya says Maaya, she will not let anyone doing wrong to Anuapama and will not let Maaya become Kavya. Anupama anxiously asks her to be clear. Kavya says she heard a childhood story that a nagin/snake bit a person who saved her, Maaya is that nagin who is trying to destroy Anupama’s married life; Anupama gave respect to Maaya and let her stay in her house, but Maaya started loving her husband being in her own house.
Everyone look shocked hearing that. Leela asks how does she know about it. Kavya says because Maaya herself revealed it; she agrees love happens to anyone, but love should be gained and not snatched; ever since she learnt about it, she was thinking how to inform everyone; she was quiet thinking Maaya would correct herself, but Maaya’s misdeeds forced her to reveal it; Maaya is fasting for Anuj and when all husbands were fixing bangles in their wives’ wrists, Maaya took a thread from Anuj’s stole and tied it around her wrist and even now touched Anuj’s feet silently; she is angry as its wrong to love a married man and interfere between 2 lovers. She further reveals what she did with Anuj during picnic. Anuj gets tensed recalling promising Anupama that he would never hide anything from her.
Leela says she doubted Maaya from the beginning and had told that she has come here to become Anuj’s wife and not Little Anu’s mother; this situation wouldn’t have arisen if Anupama had kicked her out of the house at the beginning itsef, but Anupama wanted to show her mahanta/greatness and her mahanta hit her hard; a lonely woman may have a strong heart, but it mels like a wax when she sees a nice man. Barkha says all single women are not like Maaya. Leela says she should tell this to Maaya who wants both daughter and father like buy 1 get 1 free. Hasmukh asks if it’s necessary for her to speak. Leela says she is speaking as Anupama is not speaking, Anupama should pulls Maaya by hair and kick her out of the house. Barkha thanks Kavya for exposing Maaya; she had also noticed Maaya’s acts and had warned her, but kept quiet as she didn’t have any evidence. Ankush sayshe made a big mistake by exposing Maaya’s past, but Maaya made a bigger mistake by defaming single women and proving Leela’s words right.
Anupama walks to Maaya and says everyone has a right to justify themselves before bearing punishment; keeping everyone’s allegations aside, she wants to know from Maaya if its true. Maaya accepts its true. Camera focuses on everyone’s shocked face. Maaya says its a one-sided feeling though and Anuj is not involved. Anupama warns her to dare not take her husband’s name as she knows what he is, he waited for her just like Maa Sati waited for Mahadev, she trusts her husband completely and doesn’t need any justification. Vanraj says he is doing a mistake again; as a man, he knows very well that there is nothing like one-sided, let the man be Vanraj, Anuj, Ankush, or Toshu, a man makes mistake; even Kavya will agree with him that a husband needs someone when wife is busy; Anupama couldn’t give time to Anuj and Little Anu as she was busy with Toshu’s treatment and Maaya was with Anuj and Little Anu, maybe Anuj did something that she gave a wrong hint to Maaya.
Anuj warns him to stop and says he shouldn’t forget that Anuj is not Vanraj and would never become one. Vanraj says time and situation makes any man as Vanraj and a man does mistake. Anuj says one who is weak slips and its Vanraj’s nature to betray his wife and not Anuj. Vanraj says one who is caught is a thief and one who is not is a saint, Anuj is caught today. Anuj warns him to mind his tongue. Vanraj says Anuj who used to give lecture on piousness proved that he is also a common man who can slip. He says people used to criticize Vanraj. Anupama plays Shivji’s damru and says when its a question of her and Anuj, who is he to interfere between them; Vanraj is a disgrace, but Anuj is pious and loves only Anupama; Anuj wold never think what Vanraj did as he can’t be Vanraj.
Maaya says Anupama is right, Anuj is pious or else she wouldn’t have fallen in Anuj’s love, Anuj never looked at her wrongly and gave a respect which any other man could give her; its impossible for any woman to fall in his love after knowing him and question herself why didn’t he meet her before; she heard a lot about true love, but she saw it in Anuj for Anupama; only Anuj can love someone else’s child immensely; Anuj change her perception towards men; when she stayed at Anupama’s house, she realized what family and love is and started imagining herself in Anupama’s shoes. Anuj warns her to stop and asks what she wants to prove with this. Ankush stops him. Maaya says she fell in Anuj’s love when he protected her; its impossible for her to stop loving Anuj; only mata Parvati stays in Shivji’s heart, but many women adore him.
Pakhi warns her to stop her nonsense and wrong justification. Barkha says she shouldn’t compare herself to saint Meera. Leela asks Anupama to pull Maaya by hair and kick her out of the house. Vanraj says let it be as Anupama will blindly believe everyone and then bear betrayal. Hasmukh warns him. Vanraj says he is not wrong; if Anuj is so pious, why didn’t he inform Anupama about Maaya’s heinous act; Kavya exposed Maaya or else Anupama wouldn’t have known what had happened between Maaya and Anuj during picnic; its a betrayal if a man hides such a big issue and he has wrong intention. Anupama looks at Anuj. Maaya thinks a small spark of suspicion is enough to incinerate trust, she is sure Vanraj’s words planted a seed of suspicion in Anupama’s mind. Vanraj asks Anuj if he lost his voice. Leela says everyone point at her son, why don’t they question the great Anuj.
Ankush says there must be some reason and warns Vanraj to mind his tongue. Barkha says Maaya did everyone and her BIL’s character was spotless before and even now, Anuj ignored Maaya’s moves repeatedly. Vanraj says he wouldn’t do it in front of everyone Ankush says only Vanraj can shamelessly romance in front of everyone. Vanraj says it’s better to do it openly instead of hiding. Adhik asks Ankush to calm down. Ankush asks why should he, he should shut his FIL’s mouth instead. Vanraj says they just want to know why did Anuj hide such a big issue. Ankush asks who is he and Leela to question Anuj. Leela says they are worried for Anupama. Barkha says that’s a biggest joke. Vanraj says whatever it is, they want to know at any cost. Maaya says she will and asks Vanraj if Kavya informed him that Anirudh wants to start afresh with her. Everyone look at Kavya.
