Anupama 25 October 2022: Bapuji returns home feeling embarrassed due to Vanraj’s heinous act. Vanraj justifies himself that Anuj provoked him to the core and he wanted to show him that he and his family are not for sale; Anuj had crossed his limits, so he wanted to show his limits. Bapuji with folding hands shows his displeasure and walks away. Devika finds Anuj in a panic state and asks what happened. He cries why only Anupama should suffer always, how dare Vanraj is to humiliate Anu often; he couldn’t do anything seeing Anu crying, saw strong Anu breaking and he just watched it. Devika asks him to calm down as Anu’s is letting wrong happen to her, she is staying in that house even after divorce, they as a friend can only show her right and wrong but not change her, Anu will never leave her family and her family not stop troubling her, they can’t change situation or Anu’s mind and can just hope her situation improves. Anuj says he asked her to leave that house, he couldn’t tolerate her seeing her crying and spoke whatever was in his heart. Devika says he did right. He says he just wants Anu to be always happy.
Anu returns home and tells Vanraj that today was her life’s biggest event and he.He says destroyed it. She says a boy near her house used to throw stone at aeroplane via a catapult and used to think he can destroy aeroplane, his acts reminded him of that kid as he can throw stones but cannot stop her success or destroy her happiness. He with a grin asks really? She asks if he thinks he will create a drama on the first day of her job and stop her, he cannot destroy a remaining story by spoiling a book’s first page. He asks if her nonsense is over. She says sorry. He asks for what. She stands on a step facing equal to him. Anuj tries to tear his and Anu’s palm printed paper. GK stops him. Anuj says he didn’t want Anu’s hand, but wanted to see her happy. GK hugs and consoles him.
Anu tells Vanraj sorry for fearing him as he is shouting and creating drama because he is afraid. He asks if he is afraid of her. She says he is afraid of their quality; he told when he came to see her first, he saw a wife in her and wife always walks behind husband. He says who stopped a wife to move ahead, even she was staying in same house and nobody stopped her, a race line is same for both woman and man. Anu says man has a degree, but woman has ladles, children, in-laws, husband’s chores, and a lock of traditions in her legs; she is not is wife now, even then he is unable to tolerate it; he should get habituated to tolerate it as she will never lag behind from hereon.
She laughs and says she is doing shayari in Anuj’s company.Anuj hopes Anu is fine. Anu tells Vanraj that he is feeling bad as she is moving ahead without his help. Baa says she is moving ahead holding a stranger man’s hand. Anu asks why didn’t she feel bad when she is staying here with a stranger man since so many days. Baa asks who is a stranger here. Anu says Vanraj Shah. Kavya says Vanraj is indeed a stranger to Anu. Anu says Vanraj is afraid that she has become independent and is flying high alone; he wouldn’t have been afraid if Anuj looked ugly with bulging tummy, bald head, and weird face as he would be superior to Anuj; he is afraid of equal competition, be it Anu or Anuj; she is sorry for his fear and can pray god to give him some peace. He steps down. He says however high she flies, she will be smaller than her. She says he will bend his head to see her and she will always keep her head high. Baa shouts Anupamaaa. Anu says her quota of taunts and humiliation has ended today. Kinjal feels happy hearing that. Anu walks away.
Next morning, Anuj waits for Anu in office and hopes she is fine. He opens cabin door and sees Anu already sitting and checking documents. Jiye To Jiye Kaise Bin Apke.. song plays in the background. Anu notices him and greets Jai Sri Krishna. He asks if she started work. She says she is trying to understand it and asks if he thought she wouldn’t come today. He says no. He says if he had not encouraged her yesterday, she wouldn’t have come today. At dance academy, Nandini gets tensed seeing a hooded T-shirt man and asks who is it. Samar says its him and says after yesterday’s event, he feels Rohan is gone and will not trouble them. She says rohan will not easily give up. Rohan is seen standing nearby. Anu tells Anuj that a nest is most important to its bird and it returns home in the evening wherever it goes, her family is her world and she wants to succeed with them as she wants to move ahead both for herself and her dear ones. Anuj apologizes her for suggesting her to leave her house.
She says anyone would have said same. He says he is not anyone, then says she should do whatever makes her happy. She thanks him for becoming her friend. He thanks her back considering him as her friend. She says she is lucky that she has friends like him and Devika and asks if they can start work. He says of course and teaches her work. Kaise Kahoon Bina Tere Zindagi Ye Kya Hogi.. song plays in background.Anupama finishes her work and asks Anuj what else she needs to do. He asks to keep some work for tomorrow. She gets up. He feels sudden headache. She asks what happened. He says its just a head rush as he didn’t sleep whole night. She asks why? He says he gets migraines. She asks if he took medicine. He says he didn’t have food yet. She scolds him, brings chocolate milkshake and orders him to finish it before she counts 10. He finishes it before she counts 8. She smiles and says a boss should scold employee, but she is scolding him. He recites shayari. She asks him to speak normally which she can understand, she will send him something to eat, and walks away. He thinks she was with him today whole day, what will happen to him next.
At night, Anu walks to Vanraj with tea and says she came to talk and not fight, tea should be hot and not brain, they may not be couple now but are parents and have to face each other whole life. She asks why he is afraid of losing her when she is not his at all, he never respected her when she was his, he had an affair with Kavya and doesn’t want her to have friendship with Anuj, she never questioned him whole life and he is questioning her always and doesn’t want her to be happy, does family belongs to only him, who is he to question her, he made a mistake and she is being punished for his mistake, till when she will suffer even after divorce, she just sought peace and nothing else during divorce, when they fight family divides into 2 and they can stop it and not let other relationships go sour. He gets conscious hearing phone ring and realizes its his imagination. He notices Anu returning from office and walks towards her, but then gets jealous seeing her speaking to Anuj over phone and shuts door angrily.
Anuj kneads dough while cooking dinner with GK. GK says he has to knead dough and not wrestle and sensing his dilemma asks reason. He says he is remembering Anu and wants to speak to her. GK asks him to go ahead. He says he has his own limitations and has to follow them. GK says he can pray Kanhaji though. AT Anu’s house, while cooking, Anu asks Kinjal and Nandini to prepare a list of working women who can cook well. Kinjal says they can take NGO help. Anu says they can take Baa’s help and asks if her friends can work as cooks. Baa hearing her warns to humiliate her and not her friends. Nandini asks where is a question of humiliation here. Baa yells she is not yet her bahu, so she should keep her mouth shut. Anu asks if they can take her friend Vimla’s help. Baa says her friend is rich and will not work, she ruined her house and shouldn’t ruin other’s house now as others don’t have a rich friend like Anu to handle their financial situation.
They hear Kavya confronting Vanraj for ruining cafe menu and his attention towards Anu and Anuj instead of cafe. He stares at her. She says instead of giving these looks, he should concentrate on orders, she wasted her time in his cafeteria instead of finding a job. Vanraj says its getting a little too much. She says he is crossing limits by thinking only about Anu and Anuj, in fact he should change menu in Anu and Anuj’s name. He shouts stop it. She says if he doesn’t want to join Anuj, he can at least concentrate on his cafe; she got a chance to work with Anuj, but he ruined it and now has to sell coffee in his cafe. Baa yells at Anu that a relationship which ruins other relationship should be broken as a man and a woman can never be friends. Kinjal asks Anu to ignore Baa’s illogical words. Anu says it hurts when dear ones yell, she cannot change her decision and Baa cannot change her arrogance, so lets concentrate on work.
Kavya insists Vanraj to handover cafeteria to her. He says she wants to become an entrepreneur like Anuj, but she couldn’t handle a simple job without him. She shouts he is insulting her. He says she insulted him outside. She says he is always angry and cannot run a business that way, he used to smell masalas from Anu and now he cannot part ways with her. He shouts enough, she shouldn’t dare to insult him in front of his family or else he can change his wife even now. Baa hearing their argument thinks her family is bearing a burn because and Anu and Anuj and prays Thakurji to do something and end Anu and Anuj’s menace. Kinjal suggests Anu to create an email for herself as every communication is made via e-mail. Anu asks to go ahead then. Nandini says she will make her e-mail on Anuj’s company website and tries, but says anupama id is not available and she needs to add 123 or something. Anu asks her to add extra A and name Anupamaa. Nandini creates ID. Anu says there will be maa in her always.
Anuj sees Anu’s first e-mail and gets happy. He gets a call and gets serious asking if its tomorrow. GK taunts him. Anuj calls Anu and informs her something. She also gets tensed. Next morning, Vanraj sees Anu with her bag and asks if she is going to London this time. Anu says she is here, but Samar is going to Delhi for some work. She gets Samar’s call. Vanraj snatches her phone and asks Samar where is he. Anu says Samar is busy in rehearsals and hence is friend Varun will pick his bag. Vanraj argues with Samar. Anu asks him to stop yelling at Samar as he is going for a corporate event and will be back in 4 days. Vanraj says when nobody is bothered about him, why should he bother. Baa says nothing will happen to his son as Anuj is sending him to his corporate event. Vanraj gets more jealous.
