Anupama 6 November 2022: Anupama rejoices after she gets a rented house. Anuj gifts Anupama inscribed keychain and says GK taught him to gift gold or silver on Dantheras, he brought her keychain and fixes house keys in it. Baa argues with Bapuji that Anu cannot look into her own yes for her act, she left this house and they didn’t force her to leave, she passes by freely on streets and if she insults her again, she will slap her. Virat asks her to calm down and asks Bapuiji to think practically. Kavya says Anu has a crorepati boyfriend but they don’t. Vanraj says Kavya is jobless and his business is not stable, so they need this house at least. Kavya starts her emotional blackmail and requests to consider her as her bahu and Lakshmi of this house and let her take care of family and house. Baa says however Kavya is, she is their bahu; she didn’t accept Kavya till now because of Anu and now she has to.
Kavya says she will never leave this house and its people and pleads Bapuji to give her rights like he did to Anu, says Anu is lucky to get everything without asking, but she is unlucky to not get anything even after asking, etc.Anu thanks Anuj for gifting her a keychain. He suggests her to celebrate her Dantheras in her now house. She says this is her first festival without her family, but she is happy. She looks at her house happily. Anuj writes her name on door and recites a shayari in his mind seeing her smiling. They walk on street next. Anu asks if he is thinking something. He says every year he gifts his employees sonpapdi. She says he must be getting sonpapdi in return and jokes. He says he wants to gift something different this time and seeks her idea. She says they can give sweets order to the ladies whom they have employed and let them earn some money this diwali. He likes her idea. She then sees a lady heavily bargaining for lamps at a pottery stall and requests her not to bargain with poor. Lady says her husband doesn’t earn money to burn it. Anu asks when she doesn’t bargain 800 rs pizza, 300 rs coffee, 2000 bag, 1000 rs sandals, why is she bargaining for 10 rs lamp. Lady says bargaining is her right. Anu buys lamp set from potter lady who blesses her. She says she bought blessings in exchange of bargain and continues her speech on not bargaining with poor and helping them celebrate their festival.
Anuj thinks people ask him why he loves her since 26 years and even he buys lamps for his house and office.Baa continues venting out her anger on Anu and says nobody should take Anu’s name in this house from hereon. Bapuji says Anu’s name will be taken always, Baa herself will take Anu’s name and cry for her, and that day will come soon. Kavya thinks she is taking over Anu and will rule on this house from this dantheras.Anu and Anuj return to Kanta’s house with grocery. Devika comes to meet her and saying leaving Shah house was her life’s best decision and cries hugging her. Anu asks why she is crying. Devika says its difficult to leave her family, but she did it and took a right decision; she is self-dependent and doesn’t need anyone’s support, etc. Anu says she needs a friend like her always though.
Mamaji gets confused with Bapuji’s medicines and feels helpless. Bapuji says its good that Mamaji can forget things, he knows what medicines to take and will not trouble Anu by falling ill. Baa notices that from a distance and seeing Kavya roaming freely asks her to take care of her and Bapuji’s needs like Anupama. Kavya says Bapuji is angry on her. Baa says she can calm him down like a daughter and asks her to try. Kavya agrees. Devika tells Anu that she knows she cannot leave her family easily and they are her strength, but she should continue moving ahead not just for herself but for Anuj and her also. Anu promises not to break her and Anuj’s trust in life and hugs her again. Anuj cheers them up and clicks their pics.Kanta gets emotional hearing Anupama and Devika’s discussion. Anuj asks her what happened.
Kanta says when a girl grows up, a mother decides her what to wear, whom to befriend, when and how to get out of house, etc.; even she was a same mother and never let Anu befriend anyone, she realized that she was wrong during Anu’s divorce and thought a friend is always needed in life, be it a boy or a girl. She apologizes Devika and thanks Anuj for proving her wrong and making her realize that a friend is just a friend and not boy or girl. She asks Anuj’s phone and clicks Anu, Anuj, an Devika’s pic.At night, Kinjal with Nandini gives medicine to Bapuji. Bapuji says Anu left junior Anu here. Kinjal says she will. Bapuji says she should become Anupama version 2 and not 1 who used to silently suffer without opposing for injustice towards her, she shouldn’t make a mistake which he and Anu did and should fight for her justice. Kavya walks in with milk and thinks she wanted to impress Bapuji, but Kinjal has already taken over.
Once Kinjal and Nandini leave, Kavya offers milk to Bapuji and asks if he is still angry on her. She says she is angry more on her son and wife. She asks if he will not forgive her like a father. He says if he becomes father, he will scold her and try to correct her, which she will not like, so its better be a father-in-law as every FIL can be father but every DIL cannot be a daughter. Kavya gets angry and thinks she tries to impress one and other gets angry, how Anu used to manage all this.Anu, Anuj, and Devika enjoy lively friendship moments dancing and laughing on Dil Chahta Hai.. song. Toshu walks to his room hoping Anu is fine and thinking he is angry on her, but he is also her son. He gets angry Pakhi and Kinjal watching Anu, Anuj, and Devika’s pic on Devika’s social media account. Kinjal asks what is he doing here at this time. He asks if he shouldn’t, why she rudely behaves with her. She says because he rudely behaves with mummy. Their argument starts. He says she is close to his mom, why she has problem if he is getting close to her mom. She says she never said that. He says she wants to be a perfect bahu, why she doesn’t want to be a perfect wife. She says she wants to be with her husband but not with a son who doesn’t respect his mother, so the choice is his.
Devika acts as sleeping to let Anu and Anuj speak. Anuj says he will leave as GK must be waiting for him and asks his jacket. Anu returns his jacket and he walks away wishing her goodnight. Dil Hai Ke Manta Hi Nahi..song plays in the background. Devika fumes that Anuj speaks a lot, but cannot express what is in his heart; she should do something after which he speaks his heart out. Anu thanks god for tension-free day today and prays him to take care of everyone.Kavya fixes her nameplate on door and grins. She wakes up and realizes it was her dream. Next morning, Baa prepares laddoos murmuring its her house and she doesn’t care if Anu leaves her house, she will celebrate diwali alone and will never be happy. Kavya walks to her and asks what is she murmuring. Baa says she will prepare special dishes and will make Anu jealous, Anu’s diwali and whole life will be dark forever. Kavya thinks she doesn’t want to spoil her first diwali in kitchen. Vanraj asks Baa to stop cursing Anu has she is gone. Bapuji shows nazar battu/gift to Kinjal which he bought for Anu’s new house, to ward off evil from Anu’s life. Baa asks if Anu’s mother also kicked her out of house and starts yelling at Anu and her mother. Kavya back her. Bapuji stops Baa. She offers him sweets, but he denies saying sweetness should be in lives first. Vanraj requests Bauji not to go on festival day. Bapuji says even if he stays here, his mind will be Anu’s house, so he can’t. Kinjal brings halwa for Anu. Baa shouts at her to keep it back. Bapuji asks Kavya to keep halwa box and walks out with her. Kavya provokes Baa. Baa reminiscing Bapuji’s changed behavior towards her shouts she doesn’t care if he leaves and throws sweets. Anu with all her supporters visits her new house and performs pooja.
