Zara smiling while thinking about Kabir. Nusu goes to Azra and whispers that she seems too happy hearing about the guy. Zara asks Azra to come inside as she wants to speak to her.
Zara’s Ammi was making arrangements as her daughter will be back home after long. Ayesha and Alina come there. Ayesha cries that everything has changed, how Zara and Kabir will live without each other after tomorrow. Alina asks why this Khula was provided in the religion. Ayesha says it’s a woman’s right to take divorce from husband if she is unhappy. Alina tells Ayesha Kabir is in Mumbai and wants to meet Zara.
There, Azra speaks to Zara she seems extremely happy. Zara says she heard Kabir tell the nurse he has a relation with her, this brought a new ray of hope into her life and it seems all her one year long injuries are finally healing.
Zara’s mother asks Ayesha if it’s reasonable to remind the children of a one year old problem. Alina convince her that they are spouses. Her mother says if Kabir wants to meet Zara, then she must first ask her Mami and Zara. The matter needs to be handled sensibly, she must take Zara’s consent if she wish to meet Kabir or not. Alina asks her to call Zara and find out.
Zara tells Azra Kabir would never come to meet her. But she is happy that he at least cares for her. Azra was excited and tells Zara to go to Kabir herself, she must tell him how much she loves him. Zara replies she can’t even go and do that. Azra says they must speak to Dr. Amina Rizvi, her mother about a consent. Zara didn’t want to tell her, Amina did a lot of counselling for her and took great care to bring her out of that depression, she can’t hurt her anymore. She now pulls her ears forbidding to reveal her secret.
Zeenat asks the driver where he had taken Ayesha and Alina. Shahbaz was planning that tomorrow the Khula will be finalized. Zeenat says it won’t happen, they can’t part Kabir and Zara so easily. She says Ayesha and Alina have gone to Qazi’s house to save Zara and Kabir’s relationship.
Amina tells Zara that her mother, Salma called. Kabir is in Mumbai and wants to meet her. Azra gives a thumbs up. Amina tells her to think well then take a decision. She takes Nusu downstairs. Azra hugs Zara cheerfully. Zara was in a disbelief that Kabir wants to meet her.
Kabir comes out of the bath and gets a call from Alina. Alina says Zara is also in Mumbai, and wish to meet him. Kabir thinks for a while if Zara wants to meet him, then hurries. Kabir day dreams in the washroom when they enjoyed Pani Poori, while Zara stuffed one in Kabir’s mouth. She complained of his bushy beard. He turns his trimmer on, then day dreams about Zara snatching the trimmer.
There at home, Shahbaz questions Ayesha why he had gone to Qazi’s house. Ayesha says she wanted to tell Kabir that Zara was in Mumbai and wished to meet him; she sent the news to Zara that Kabir also wants to meet him.
Zara makes preparations for her meeting. She daydreams about Kabir snatching dresses off her hands, then selecting one for her.
Shahbaz comes to meet Qazi Sahib in his cabin. He reminds Qazi, he is a member of Shariah Board and can meet him anytime. Qazi Sahib was annoyed at him. Shahbaz says he only came over to meet Irfan Siddiqui. Their attempts to keep Kabir and Zara away from each other have gone in vain. Kabir went to Mumbai and Zara and Kabir are about to meet there.
Zara comes outside the restaurant where Kabir was waiting. She knocks over the glass window. Kabir comes outside. Both looked away from each other, then Kabir forces her into a hug. Zara asks why he was late. Kabir says at least he is here. He then mentions she applied for Khula, he wonders if she can withdraw… Zara asks if he loves her. Kabir replies, a lot. He kiss her forehead while she hugs him.
Zara hugged the dress in the room, and says their Khula won’t finalize. Azra teases if she is really going to meet Kabir. She dances around that the Khula has cancelled. Zara says she is by the way going only because Kabir invited. Azra teases she is wearing favorite color of Kabir. Zara shies away. Azra asks if she doesn’t feel butterflies in stomach at her mention that Khula is cancelled.
Meena says you have health checkup. Don’t miss it. Zara says don’t worry about it. Shanzay says he is coming anyway. Mena says Kabir is still your husband. He wanted to meet you if you still want to meet him then its upto you. Zara says if you want, I can meet him. Meena says okay then I will speak to salma and fix a meeting.
Shahbaz says to Qazi why are you thinking so much? This is time to implement what peer sahab said. Shahbaz and Qazi met peer sahab. Shahbaz said Kabir tries meeting Zara. I try stopping him but who will stop Zara? Qazi says I wont hear a word about my daughter. Shahbaz says I wont say anything because its your upbringing that made her this way. Qazi says that’s why you chose her for your son. Peer sahab said we have to part Kabir and Zara. They shouldn’t’ come close to each other.
Shahbaz says do you remember this? Qazi says Ayesha and Aleena are responsible for this. Shahbaz says you control your daughter. Qazi says talk to your son. My daughter isn’t wrong.
Shanzay says to Meena Zara is your favorite now. Meena says you have to win hearts for it. Aman says to Kabir you are going to meet Zara? She was very loving. Kabir says yes she loved everyone. Meena calls Salma and says what.. HOw to cancel it? Okay if you say so. Zara says what happened? Kabir said no right. Meena says he didn’t want to meet. Aleena did all this. she wanted you two to meet. Zara leaves.
Zeenat says to Kabir Aleena did all this. Why would Zara want to meet you? Kabir says she said yes or no to meet me? Zeenat says she said no.
Zara stands in the balcony and watches the sky. Meena says please don’t’ take the stress. I can’t see you upset. Zara says you have done more for me than a mother. DOn’t worry I will take care of myself. I will handle everything. Kabir and Zara both are upset. Shanzay says this all is happening because of Aleena. Zara says Kabir doesn’t want to meet me. It’s not her fault. shanzay hugs her.
Scene 2
Ayesha calls Kabir. She says are you okay? Kabir says I am fine. Don’t worry. Ayesha says I know you haven’t slept. I don’t know how to share your pain. Kabir says this will all be over when Zara takes the khula. We are all in pain.
Zara and Shanzay are going out. Zara sees Kabir’s photo on a book. Zara checks the books. Shanzay says he is a writer too.
Kabir sits with people. The seller says the writer of this book is here too. Zara goes running where Kabir is. He is walking out. He gives his speech. Zara recalls the accident. Shanzay says let’s go inside. Zara says we will need a veil. They take it from the tailor. A guy asks Kabir who inspired you to write this book? He says the affection between two people. An affection that doesn’t let them separate. You must wonder why would they part? Zara is in tears. They go in with faces covered. Kabir recalls Zara and Kabir fighting over having a job. He says arguments part them. Education is responsible. So I decided to write this for couples who are in similar trouble. Shanzay says Zara go and meet him.
Azra takes Zara’s veil off but she turns away and whispers to Azra that if you tell him anything then you will see me dead. Kabir asks Azra why was she crying because of me? Azra thinks and says she read your book, her marriage is ending so she cried reading this book. Kabir says I pray for her.
Azra says I heard that you are ending your relation with your wife? you wrote so much about relations in your book but why end relation with your wife? you dislike her so much? Kabir says never, I dont dislike her, she is just different. He turns to leave but Azra says I have a request, please advise my sister, how do you live without person whom you wanted to live with for life, he is leaving her because their thoughts dont match but she loves him so much.
Kabir says we cant forget them even if we want to, God says that if you dont give peace and happiness to your partner then you should free them, she can also change her thoughts for her husband. Zara shakes her head. He asks if her husband can change his thoughts for her? Zara shakes her head. Kabir says then its better that they separate. Azra says but what about love? did you forget your wife? Kabir gets agitated and says dont ask about me, does her husband miss her too? Azra says he didnt come to meet her for one year.
Kabir says its a long time, if he didnt come then he must have forgotten her, its better that she forgets her husband too and free herself and him. He says its difficult to breathe, dont cry, dont lose hope. Its better to break relation that becomes suffocating. He offers Zara a tissue and leaves. Bhula dena plays. Zara cries and wipes her tears. Zara says I got my answers, he was right, if he loved me then he would come to meet me, he said to free him for his happiness so I will do what he wants, I will free him, dont be sad, we have to face reality now
