A waiter bumped into someone and dropped the juice. He apologized to the guests. Karishma scolded the waiter and told him to leave. Ayush asked Karishma to calm down and told the waiter to go. Ayush then asked Karishma why she was shouting at the waiter for such a small thing and suggested she let it go.
Anushka arrived and told Karishma that she felt Ayush had changed a lot since Lakshmi came into the house. She never remembered Ayush talking back to her before, but it had been happening every day since Lakshmi arrived. Anushka also mentioned that Rishi was always around Lakshmi.
Aanchal told Karishma that she had overheard what Anushka said about Lakshmi and agreed with her.
The pandit asked everyone to give aarti to God. Harleen asked Lakshmi to give the aarti, and she agreed.
The diamond smuggler’s boss instructed his henchman to hand the smuggler over to the cops. The smuggler told his boss that he had the real diamonds with him. The boss asked where they were. The smuggler explained that when his bike had an accident, he hid in a truck to escape the cops. Inside the truck, there was a Ganesh statue, so he swapped the artificial diamonds in the statue with the real ones. He said all they needed to do now was enter the Oberoi mansion and steal the diamonds. The boss agreed and ordered David to get the diamonds before 10:30 p.m. He warned that if the smuggler failed, David must kill him. David agreed.
Lakshmi gave the aarti to God, joined by Rishi, Parvati, and Rohan.
The diamond smuggler and David sneaked into the Oberoi mansion disguised as guests. The rest of the Oberoi family also gave the aarti to God.
Later, the kids asked Lakshmi and Rishi when the pooja would start again. Lakshmi asked the pandit and informed the kids that the pooja would be in the evening. The kids agreed.
Balwinder was keeping an eye on Lakshmi. Lakshmi served prasad to everyone.
Anushka noticed Balwinder staring at Lakshmi. Kiran approached Anushka and asked what she was looking at. Kiran told her that everyone being absent-minded in the house was not a good thing. She added that ever since Lakshmi came, many things had changed. Anushka agreed and said that since Lakshmi arrived, Malishka seemed to have lost her importance. Kiran suggested that if Anushka wanted to maintain her value in the house, she should keep Shalu away from Ayush.
Shalu and Rano brought sweets to the Oberoi mansion. Ayush offered to help Shalu, but Rano asked Ayush to help her instead. Ayush agreed.
Shalu gave the sweet boxes to David and asked him to hold them for a while. David agreed. Shalu prayed to God. Ayush asked David and the diamond smuggler if they were guests of someone. David said yes and made a comment. After praying, Shalu headed to the kitchen with Ayush.
Shalu told Mukesh that she had brought these sweets from home and asked him to distribute them to all the guests. Ayush asked if he could taste the sweets since she made them. Shalu agreed. Ayush tasted the laddoo and praised her. Shalu reminisced about how everyone used to praise her mother for her laddoos. Anushka overheard their conversation.
Ayush praised Shalu for making really good laddoos. Anushka overheard this and decided to teach Shalu a lesson. She asked Shalu to make 200 packets of laddoos and do charity near a temple. She said she would pay her for it and even give a tip if the laddoos were really good.
After a phone call, Aanchal ran into Rano. Aanchal asked if Rano couldn’t see where she was going. Rano told Aanchal to first learn how to behave with others. Karishma asked Rano to behave herself. Rano argued with Karishma. Avinash asked Karishma not to ruin the day as it was an auspicious occasion. Rano agreed and left.
The diamond smugglers decided to steal the diamonds, but David stopped them, saying they would get caught if they tried now because everyone was around.
Ayush asked Anushka how she could talk to Shalu like that. He said Shalu was family. Anushka asked what she did wrong, explaining that she was only offering Shalu a job so she could earn some money. Shalu told Ayush there was no need for all this and told Anushka she would make the laddoos and do the charity but didn’t need any money from her. She then left. Ayush praised Shalu to Anushka.
Guddu asked Balwinder if he wanted to get caught for staring at Lakshmi. Guddu said a girl noticed him while he was staring at Shalu. Balwinder asked who it was. Guddu said it was Ayush’s wife. Balwinder said he thought Ayush would marry Shalu and asked why Shalu hadn’t married him yet. Guddu explained that Shalu was always where Lakshmi was. She went to Gurudaspur with Lakshmi, and now that Lakshmi had returned, Shalu had too. Wherever Lakshmi was, Shalu would be there. Anushka overheard their conversation.
Later, Anushka confronted Balwinder and Guddu, asking what they were doing. Balwinder made up an excuse.
David and the diamond smugglers spotted a new pandit entering the Oberoi mansion and decided to use him in their plan. They knocked him out using chloroform.
Rishi tried to talk to Lakshmi. She asked what he wanted to say. Rishi hugged her. Balwinder and Guddu witnessed this.
Karishma asked Anushka why she looked stressed. Anushka said she saw Ayush and Shalu together and didn’t like it. She then told Karishma how Ayush got angry with her for trying to put Shalu in her place.
Rishi thanked Lakshmi for giving him Parvati. Later, Rishi spotted Balwinder and Guddu in the mirror and questioned them. He asked what they were doing there. Guddu said they were looking for water. Rishi told them it was not good to roam around his house like this as this part belonged to his family only. Guddu said his friend was feeling weak and needed water with salt and sugar. Rishi asked Mukesh to bring some. Mukesh agreed and left. Guddu and Balwinder praised Rishi. Rishi then left.
Anushka asked Karishma to do something, fearing her marriage would be destroyed. Karishma advised her to control herself and assured her that no one could destroy her marriage. Anushka agreed, and Karishma left.
Harleen told Lakshmi that Dolly wanted to say something to her. Dolly praised Lakshmi for decorating the house beautifully.
Anushka lashed out in her room, frustrated that Ayush was always thinking about Shalu instead of her. She calmed herself and decided not to cry because of Shalu. She adjusted her makeup.
The diamond smuggler marked a room with chalk on the door, planning to hide the pandit there.
Balwinder dragged Mukesh into a room and knocked him out by hitting him on the back of the head with a vase. Guddu asked if they were there to kidnap Lakshmi or kill someone. Balwinder replied that he would kill anyone who got in his way. Anushka overheard their conversation from the bathroom. After they left, Anushka decided to inform everyone about the goons plotting to abduct Lakshmi.
