The Book “Secret Lives of Baba Segi Wives” is coming soon to a theatre near you

…..well, only if you are currently visiting or living in London. (Arcola Theatre precisely).

Lovers of this humourous yet didactic fictional piece which explore family politics can yet again relive all the drama and conflicts from the different personalities that make up Baba Segi and his four wives in a stage performance.

The book is being adapted into a stage play by none other than the Caine Award-winning playwright, Rotimi Babatunde and stars Patrice Naiambana as the the lead actor, Baba Segi.

The cast ensemble

Also among the casts is Solano Oni Sijuade, a media personality who is making her debut in stage acting. The show which would start showing from the 7th of June to the 21st July is directed by Femi Elufowoju.

The casts ensemble consists of multi-talented West Africans and will feature live Yoruba music, songs and dance. Hopefully, Secret Lives of Baba Semi Wives will also premiere in Nigeria soon..
