The cost of Love 5 May 2021: starts with Richa saying why did Sheetal tell us about changing will. Lawyer says its her marriage anniversary today, husband and wife always get together, no matter what happened. Vikram says we should plan something. Ahaan gets a call from rising stars team. The man asks for Pankti’s recorded audition. Ahaan says sure, I will send soon. JD and Sheetal come to some place. JD says we came here on our first anniversary and you gifted me your property. She says I rectified my mistake today. He says I did a mistake to love you and still do. She scolds him for his lie. He says I m not lying, love is complicated, how can anyone stop himself when there is something beautiful like Pankti.
She gets angry. He says I need you for emotional support, and I need Pankti for other things. She slaps him. He says jealous, it means you still love me, I still love you, this is the truth. Pankti plays music and sings. Ahaan comes to her and smiles. She signs what. He makes a heart. He says I can’t believe my fate, I got a pretty girl with such a melodious voice, pinch me. She pats his face. She says we will go for auditions. Ahaan says we have to record audition and send them, get ready fast. She gets nervous. Anita looks on and thinks he used to sing on roads, now he will make my daughter sing on roads, it was better that she used to sing at home. Poorva says she is going in big competition, she will become a big star, I m sure she will win, Ahaan heard Pankti’s voice, he is a professional singer, he has much knowledge. Poorva goes. Anita says if Pankti gets famous, money will come home, then what about JD.
JD tries convincing Sheetal. He shows her a necklace to cheer her mood. He makes her wear the necklace. He gives her a drink. She asks will you get gift from the money donated by me, if man loses respect, it never comes back. She gets a call and goes. Richa says congrats, its your anniversary today. Sheetal says thanks. Richa says your paper work is over. Sheetal says yes, did lawyer tell all changes. Richa says yes, there were no changes, I m happy you have forgiven dad. Sheetal asks what do you mean. JD says let us celebrate anniversary, and throws the phone. Sheetal asks what did you do. He says you did. He recalls getting papers swapped. He says I just gifted you some flowers, but you gifted me entire property. Sheetal raises hand. JD holds her hand and says you have slapped me twice, even then I have forgiven you. She gets angry. He says I should also gift you something. He pushes her in the pool. Sheetal gets shocked. Ahaan asks Pankti to just sing for herself, just float free like clouds. She smiles. He says you can sing for me too. JD scolds Sheetal and catches her. He drowns her in the pool. She gets short of breath. She hits her elbow at him and swims out of the pool. He tries to pull her back. JD tortures her.
Sheetal asks him to leave him. He asks are you begging me for life, you called me a beggar. She bites his face and swims out. She gets her phone and calls Ahaan. Ahaan sees his phone. JD throws Sheetal’s phone. She gets the asthma pump. He takes the pump and asks were you finding this. He laughs and pushes her. She shouts for help. JD asks her to beg, no one will come to help.JD enjoys drinking and says he will kill Sheetal on a good date, anniversary and death date; it would be easy for them both.
Ahaan and Pankti sat together, he notices the phone vibrating and goes to attend the call. As he takes the call, no one answered. Sheetal already lied on the floor, crying. JD places his foot over the cell phone and feels pity for Sheetal’s helplessness.
Ahaan decides to call Sheetal later, he asks Panki to get her tablet so that he can record her audition. He then tells Pakti to sing for something which motivates her and gives her happiness, be it anyone.
JD places his head over Sheetal’s back, and notices she is still alive. It seems his love kept her alive. He loads an injection while counting Sheetal the qualities of a good wife. From today she will be
a good one and will follow what he will ask her to. He injects the medicine near her neck.
Aparna worries for Sheetal at home and wish everything is fine between her and JD.
There, Sheetal stands up attacking JD, pushes him into the pool and runs from the venue. JD follows her with his injured hand and climbs the car, but Sheetal successfully leaves. JD was left rolling on the road. He hires a cab to follow the car.
There, Ahaan records Pankti’s audition.
JD follows Sheetal in the cab. Ahaan caresses Pakti’s cheek while they happily share an eyelock.Sheetal pulls the break of car, her head banged badly. JD had reached behind her, but she drives on.
Ahaan forwards the audition and await their call. He tells Pankti that if she wins, she must buy a plane so that they can travel in it. Pankti was hopeless about receiving any mail or getting selected.
Ahaan was still waiting and thinks they must have received the mail by now, how can someone deny such a golden voice. Pankti says may be they don’t consider her voice as a bronze. Ahaan says may be its his love that makes her voice as golden one, otherwise it’s not. Finally a confirmation mail was received. Ahaan and Pakti were elated to see the mail. He holds her into his arms and dances around. Purva joins in to congratulate Pankti. The three hug each other. Outside, Anita curses JD for her wrist injury and wonders if the scars would ever go, who would get a cosmetic surgery for them. Purva comes to inform Anita about Pankti’s selection. Anita thinks that JD’s plans might be ruined if Pankti is selected. She decides to be loyal to the one spending money, but he deserves little lessons for hurting her as well. Sheetal reaches home and was able to walk inside. She fell on the floor, panting heavily. Aparna was shocked to see her condition. Sheetal went unconscious.
