The Cost Of Love 2 April 2021: starts with Pankti asking Ahaan what’s all this, why is he making fun of himself, what shall she do to stop him. He says you love me, you were there in marriage function and stopped the thieves. She says you are falling in a trap, why can’t you understand this, I can’t tolerate this, look here. She shows him the video and says JD has sent this to me, that’s why I m here, he is keeping an eye on you, you can’t win. Ahaan says I can’t win when you don’t support me, I can’t get free from JD till I free you, the thing is I can accept anything, my insult, your annoyance, but I can’t accept your sold tag. She cries. He asks her to just do one thing for him.
He keeps her hand on his heart and says promise me, you won’t show your face to me for the next seven days, I promise I will come and get you freed, just trust me.
Pankti promises. He asks her to save the tears, they will fall for right reason, for happiness. Pal do pal…plays…. She thinks how can he be so sure. He thinks love gives this courage to him. She leaves. Jagdish records them. JD gets the video and smiles. Sheetal comes and asks him why did he not go for meeting. JD gets tensed. She reminds him the meeting. She asks him to show the video. She gets shocked seeing Ahaan’s video. He lies that his friend has sent this to him, he is much hurt seeing this, Ahaan is insulting even their family, don’t know what will Manav and Aparna go through. She says I don’t know why is Ahaan losing his manners. JD acts helpless and smiles. Pankti says Ahaan made me swear. Purva says but love is true, talk to him, he needs you. Pankti says he asked me to stay away. Purva says what would he do, talk to him.
Purva calls Ahaan. He asks did Pankti tell everything to you, she scolded me, I can do anything for Pankti. Pankti says I was so ashamed to see this. He says I also feel ashamed to see you sold, I want to save you from all problems, you are coming in my way, I can’t let anyone come in between your freedom, not even you. He ends call. They miss each other. Aparna comes to Ahaan. Ahaan tells her everything about the kitty party. She says I won’t let JD do anything. Sheetal calls out Ahaan.
Ahaan and Aparna go downstairs. Sheetal asks Ahaan why did he perform in kitty party, why does he want to earn money. Ahaan says I didn’t know such thing will happen there, I told mom too. Sheetal asks Aparna why did she not stop Ahaan if she knew this. She scolds Ahaan. She says Ahaan was performing between strippers in the party. They all get shocked. She asks Ahaan to tell him the need to go there. Aparna recalls Ahaan’s words and says I will tell you, the reason is same, love, someone has challenged Ahaan to earn ten crores in ten days, so Ahaan is doing this without thinking for anything. Vikram worries and sees JD. Sheetal asks who. Ahaan looks on.
Aparna naming Anita. She tells everyone that Anita is challenging Ahaan to earn money. Sheetal says I knew it, but why did Ahaan not tell this to me. Aparna t aunts JD while naming Anita and suggests that they should give a chance to Ahaan by professionally hiring Ahaan. Sheetal agrees to keep Mata ki chowki and likes Aparna’s idea. Anita keeps the jewelry safe and recalls JD’s words. She says I will bury this jewelry and hide this, I will not return to that chawl, I will not let JD succeed. Purva says poverty is not a sin, why are you scared. Anita says its a sin, thank God we have Monty, don’t ruin me like Pankti.
Pankti says we never did this, we always did what you want, we could have run away, you are our mum, so we are not leaving you alone, still we have
lost you, just see yourself, you are becoming stone hearted and mad. Anita slaps her and says this is not my madness, its my hard earned money, we will need this when no one needs you, I m your mum, I can do anything with you. Aparna comes clapping and scolds Anita for her cheap thinking. She explains the meaning of a mother. She tells Anita how a mother secures her child, mother gets sold off for children’s sake but doesn’t sell off children.
Anita says you are rich, you have no shortage of money, so women like you judge us, what work do you have in your house, you discuss about people. Aparna says we think about our children’s good future and happiness, about protecting them, we pray for them, we fulfill a mother’s duty, children are Lord’s blessing.
Anita argues with Aparna, and justifies her decision to sell her daughters. She says what’s wrong to give a small sacrifice to get money. Aparna says you are making a big mistake, money doesn’t support always, I regret for your thinking, you couldn’t know the difference between Amrit and poison, love is Amrit while greed for money is poison. Anita says fine, then think I got habitual to take this poison. Aparna pities Anita who has suffocated her conscience. She invites them for Mata ki chowki. She says that house will belong to Pankti soon, as she will become my bahu.
Anita says she won’t become anything without my wish. Aparna says time will prove that you are not any Lord, I have come to give you an invitation, surely come, I will be waiting for my bahu. Anita asks what bahu, how can you force us.
Aparna says pairings are made in heaven, Lord has united Pankti and Ahaan, even if you try a lot, you can’t win over Lord. She makes Pankti wear the bangles and says this is a small gift from my side, wear this when you come home, I will be glad. She greets Anita and leaves. JD gets shocked reading news about some big drugs gang. He smiles and calls Jagdish. Ahaan is with Aparna. Jagdish looks on. A beggar comes. Ahaan goes to get food for him. Jagdish hides and keeps some drugs in Ahaan’s bag. Ahaan buys the food and gives to the beggar. The beggar blesses them. Ahaan and Aparna leave. Jagdish calls JD. The beggar asks him for money for doing his work. Jagdish pays him. Ahaan and Aparna see the police checking. Inspector tells about the drugs peddler. He checks Ahaan’s car. Ahaan says its my guitar. Inspector checks the guitar bag.
