Staying true 3 June 2023: Paragi prepares a flower heart rangoli for Sanjay with #Sangi written in it and walks towards Sanjay when a car enters and stops on the flower heart. Driver gets out and says department has sent him and car in her service. Sushma notices that from balcony and thinks her fear is coming true, blue light car at last interfered between Sanjay and Paragi; as a mother, she is just worried for her son. Sanjay remembers telling Paragi that he wants 2 blue light cars, one for them each. Vinod walks down with family and emotionally says a house which gets this blue light car will be very lucky, it doesn’t matter if a son or daughter earns it. Sanjay says he is right, Paragi earned it with her hard work; this honored car is always better than a big SUV from their hard earned money.
Paragi asks if he is sad. He says he is very happy that his dream came true which happened because of her hard work and talent.Paragi touches car emotionally. Baby comments that Paragi sent Sanjay stand behind her. Pramod feels pity for Sanjay. Driver informs Paragi that new DM is taking charge and wants to meet him. Paragi asks him to wait for 10 minutes and goes to get ready. Sushma says this blue car will remind Paragi of her success and Sanjay of his failure. Sanjay selects Paragi’s sari, handbag, and slippers saying she will look beautiful and perfect in them. She asks him to relax. He says let him enjoy his excitement.
She says she understands its take courage to hide his pain, they both dreamt same, now she feels happy seeing her dream coming true and sad seeing his dream shattering. He says let us celebrate her dream. She says sari and slippers can change daily but not his dream, and asks him to promise that he will fulfill his dream next year; she discusses how her papa encouraged her to fulfill her dream and says she will not leave this room until he promises her to fulfill his dream. He promises. She hugs and thanks him. He says he wants her to help him clear UPSC exam next year. She gets happy. He asks her to clean her face and wishes her all the best.
Paragi gets ready, walks near car, takes Vinod’s blessings, and just greets Sushma, Pramod, and Baby. Driver asks her to sit in backseat as front door gets jammed often. Sanjay opens door for her and says door got afraid seeing his wife’s swag and asks her to return home soon as he wants to take her out tonight. She excitedly agrees and leaves in her car. Sanjay thinks he is so proud of his wife. Paragi gets emotional experience car ride and says she is lucky to have such a nice husband. Driver says however free minded a husband is, he will never open a car door for his wife. Paragi says her husband is unique.
Vinod calls Sanjay to his study room and tells him that he has good heart and upbringing, but they live in a society were each person’s thinking is different. Sanjay says he didn’t understand. Vinod says he is proud seeing his son respecting his wife and opening a car door for her, but society will try to poison his mind and will call him a joru ka ghulam; he shouldn’t try to reply them and instead show them how to bring changes in self. Sanjay thanks him and says he will always follow his advice. Vinod says his advice will always be with him, but he cannot interfere much between a husband and wife; Sanjay showed his bravery by pointing his mothre and aunt wrong and should never hesitate from differentiating between right and wrong. Sanjay says there is a thin line between right and wrong and he always needs papa’s help. Vinod says he is really proud of his son.
Paragi reaches DM’s office. Guards salute her. She enters office looking at each item. Her subordinate informs her that DM will reach in sometime, she can take charge of her cabin till then. Paragi reaches her cabin and looks at her nameplate happily.Sanjay decorates his room to celebrate valentine’s day with Paragi. Vinod brings rose petals to decorate his room. Sanjay feels shy. Vinod says its good that he is celebrating valentine’s day with his wife. Sanjay says he is world’s coolest papa. Vinod says he is proud of his son as he cares for his wife so much and asks if he needs anything else. Sanjay says no and hopes Paragi returns home soon from office to celebrate valentine’s day with him.
Paragi takes charge of her office feeling elated, fixes her favorite pen in pen stand. Udja Ab Teri Baari Hai… song plays in the background. She then video calls Sanjay. Sanjay standing near this music wall picks call. She shows her office and says his Paru is sitting on IAS officer’s seat and fixed his gifted pen in pen stand. He feels happy and says he remembers his promise to write UPSC exam next year again, asks her sit on seat again. She does. He asks if she had a meeting with DM sir. She says not yet. He asks her to finish the meeting soon and return home soon.
She says she will by 7 p.m. and disconnects call. She then gets emotional looking at her papa’s photo and thinks with his blessing, she became an IAS officer.Sushma enters her room and notices Vinod’s gifted sari. Vinod walks in and asks if she liked it. She says he was angry, so she thought she will not get valentine’s day gift; she thanks him and wishes him happy velentine’s day. Vinod says they are husband and wife before Sanjay’s parents and he loves her immensely even now, she knows that. She thinks her family is really good with her husband and son, but why she feels a void and what shall she do to clear all the voids and differences.
Paragi gets busy at work waiting for DM sir and asks her personal assistant Mishraji if DM sir didn’t come even at 6:45 p.m. Mishraji says sir must be busy and asks her to go home. She says it doesn’t look good if she goes home without meeting DM sir and asks DM’s name. Mishraji gets a call and walks out. She packs her bag and walks out thinking she will celebrate valentine’s day with the love of her life. Chandna gets sweets to distribute among relatives. She gets Paragi’s message with pics that she sat in blue light car and sat on IAS officer’s seat, soon she will take her in blue light car. Chandana shows pic to her husband emotionally and says his daughter fulfilled his dream and if not him, his wife will sit in his daughter’s blue light car. Kinker and his wife notice Chandana and think of misusing Paragi’s position for their gains.
Paragi over phone informs Sanjay that she is leaving for home and is about to get into her car when Batra enters as DM and taunts her that her valentine’s day celebration shouldn’t suffer even if her duty suffers. She remembers his personal grudge on her during training. Batra says he ignored her personal life during training, but as her senior officer in charge, he will not let her personal life interfere her professional life. He tongue lashes her for leaving office without meeting him. She nervously says her PA. PA walks in and apologizing him says since he couldn’t wait contact him, he asked madam to go home. Batra again tongue lashes Paragi that she is so talented that she is following her PA’s instructions and asks her to follow him. She tries to message Sanjay that she will get late and clashes with Batra. Batra scolds her again and keeps her busy at work. Sanjay goes to buy cake and hopes he returns home before Paragi, calls her repeatedly and thinks why she is not responding.
