Staying true 12 April 2023: The Episode starts with Paragi praying to God and saying thank you for getting the elder daughter married. The bride asks for the attention. Paragi says you have given much to Didi, now get my dream fulfilled. She then prays to her Baba’s pic and says nothing wrong shall happen. Her aunt comes there and scolds her, asking if there is a limit of her selfishness. She asks shall I apply cow dung on my daughter’s hands rather than mehendi. Paragi says she will do the work. The Aunt asks her to go and come with baraat dancing. Paragi says you are taking tension. Aunt Chanda’s uncle calls her and tells that daughter and niece can’t be equal for her, and asks her to leave Paragi today. Chanda says you have become Papa from Bade Papa, but I am just Bade Mummy for her. She says I have two
sons and 1 daughter and that girl is of my dewar/brother in law. Uncle takes Chanda to side. Chanda says that girl is burden for us, her parents died and looted us, and left their burden on us. Uncle asks her to stop it. Chanda gets irritated and goes. Uncle goes to Paragi and applies tilak to her. He says 4 am. She says yes. Bhabhi calls her and tells that her blouse is tight, and tells that how she will look like Alia Bhatt. Paragi says everyone asked you to have salad. Bhabhi asks her to loose it. Paragi says she has UPSC exam entrance at 4 pm and also has to make sweets. Bhabhi taunts her and asks her to loosen it. Chanda’s son calls her and asks her to make his Protein salad and asks her not to get late, as his sister’s marriage is there in the house.
The bride comes to Paragi and asks her to get her practice dance. She says all the attention shall be on me. Paragi says I will do, just give me 30 mins. The bride threatens to give her UPSC books to kids to make plane out of it. Paragi asks other brother to give hotspot passport. He asks her to get tea for him. She goes.Chanda finds 5 lakhs FD of Paragi and thinks to spend it to give it to her daughter Aditi’s inlaws. Uncle comes there and takes the FD paper from her hand, and says you can’t look at that girl, and trying to get her share. He says he will not do injustice with her. Chanda tells that Devi Saraswati and Lakshmi can’t be together.
He says Paragi will write her exam and will use this money for her studies. Paragi comes there. chanda says she will not hesitate to break the FD for Aditi. Uncle sees paragi hearing them and asks her not to feel bad, and concentrate on her exam. He asks her to become the example for the girls. Paragi says today is Aditi didi’s sangeet. He says so what, you will fill the form today. He says I have full trust on you.Paragi writes UPSC on her hand with mehendi and thinks to fulfill her dreams. She then dances with Aditi on the song mehendi hai rachne wali….She tells her friend that she can’t take risk of filling the form. Chanda stops Aditi. Paragi dances on the song Romeo…Aditi’s brother in law comes there.
Bhabhi asks who has called him here. Her husband says Aditi must have invited him. The guy stares Paragi and tries to dance with her. Aditi’s would be husband (An Inspector) comes there with his parents. Chanda gets worried and says we didn’t know that you are coming. Paragi is about to go with Romi, her friend to fill the form. Chanda asks her to make coffee for everyone. Paragi asks her to go and fill the form. Romi asks her to give first preference to the form. Uncle asks her to go and fill the form. Romi finds the website hanged. Aditi’s would be husband calls Paragi. Bhabhi then asks her to make tea. Uncle asks her to go. Paragi falls down while going to terrace. Romi thinks Paragi will get late. Paragi gets up and runs again.
Aditi’s mother in law tells that the decoration is good, but there is something less. She asks for the car and asks Chanda to send her daughter tomorrow in the same car, and not in any cheap car. Chanda gets worried. Paragi is about to submit the OTP needed to submit the form. Chanda comes there and stops her. She pushes her and says you will not write UPSC exam. She says the money for your studies will be spent on Aditi’s marriage. Paragi pleads infront of her to let her submit the form. Paragi cries as the time to submit the OTP is ending. Just then Uncle comes there and submits the form just as the time is about to lapse. Romi says your form is submitted. Chanda gets upset. She takes Paragi to room and asks her to forget UPSC.
Uncle asks if there is any limit of her cunning nature and asks what storm have come, that you have to stoop low? Paragi asks her to tell. Chanda has Aditi’s mother in law threatened that her Bidaai will happen in new car else…Paragi says Jija ji is in Police Service and knows that dowry is illegal. Chanda gets angry on her. Uncle says I will talk to them. Elder son says if they break the marriage. Uncle says he will file complaint against them. He asks Paragi to concentrate on her UPSC. Chanda says you are saying this, so that Paragi’s 5 lakhs don’t get wasted. He says I don’t want Aditi’s life to get ruined. Chanda says Aditi will leave in the new car. She asks her son to enquire about the car amount and tells that she will break Paragi’s FD. Uncle refuses to give money to her and says we have never spent any money on her, she studied from govt school and college.
Chanda asks if we never spent anything on her. She takes out her diary and shows to Paragi. He asks what is in it? Chanda says it has all the expenses, which we spent on this girl. She reads it. Bhabhi says people are outside. Chanda continues to count the small expenses. She says those 5 lakhs is ours and throws the expenses diary on her. She says don’t say again that we haven’t done anything on this Paragi. Paragi looks sad.Taya ji asking Paragi to see that her bade Mummy has done, and has kept all the calculations of food also. Chanda says such calculations were on paper, but printed on heart. Paragi apologizes to Chanda and says you have to bear so much for me, I didn’t know that this calculation is on your heart.
She says I have seen my dream for everyone and wants to change the my family’s life. Chanda says it is not UPSC, but hanged punishment. Chandana says your father used to say the same and says he died. Paragi says my father has cleared the exam and then died in an accident, what is his mistake? Chanda says we are done, trying to pay for him and then you. She asks her to leave UPSC. Uncle says I will not break Paragi’s FD even if Aditi sit at home without marriage. Chanda
says decision shall be taken and asks her to decide between the family members or her dreams. Paragi promises to fulfill her dreams and will complete her dreams too. She asks her not to put her in dilemma. Chanda asks her to choose the family over her dreams, and says if you choose your dreams then you will lose me. She asks her not to forget that she is a girl and shall get married and settled down in sasural. She asks her to forget her dream to become IAS. Paragi asks why girls only have to pay for their dreams. She chooses the family over her dream and tells the same. Chanda asks her husband to give the FD to her. Uncle refuses and goes. Elder son asks what we will do. His wife says Aditi is mad in love in Mayank’s love and asks if she commit suicide. Elder son says we don’t have any option left other than FD. Paragi recalls Chanda counting the expenses since her childhood. Uncle comes there and asks Paragi not to cry.
Paragi asks why did I eat lolly pop, drink chocolate milk and almond. I would have stopped myself if Bade Mummy had told me earlier. Uncle says I will talk to Aditi inlaws and tells that he don’t want her to leave her dream, and if she don’t do this, then will see his dead face. Paragi nods her head and says how this will happen? He says we will think and asks her to promise for now, that she will fulfill her dream.Next day, Chanda brings car and tells her husband that she broke the FD and bought the car. He asks did you steal keys from my pocket. Chanda says it is wife’s right and asks him to get ready for his daughter’s marriage. Uncle asks Paragi not to worry, they will do something.
Paragi asks him not to worry and says we shall be happy in everyone’s happiness and will think later about this. She says she is hopeful even though her dreams are shattered. He goes. Paragi thinks whenever any way is closed, Sai Baba opens another way.A guy is shown, and asks Alexa, if Sanjay is handsome. He thinks Papa asked him to go to Aditi and Mayank’s wedding. Chanda scolds the beautician for the bad make up of Aditi and calls Paragi. She asks Paragi to do her make up. Bhabhi says if Paragi is not doing UPSC then we shall open parlour for her, so that she earns some money. Paragi says I do make up just as a hobby. Bhabhi asks her to make it as her dream as UPSC is gone. Chanda warns Paragi She later asks Paragi to give money to band guys. Paragi asks if we have done arranged band too.
She thinks they are cheapa and thinks she will marry an understandable guy, with progressive thoughts and little bit handsome. Sanjay comes there with his younger brother. Younger brother says marriage is boring. Sanjay says I have to go and study at home for UPSC. He says we shall handover the shagun envelope and shall leave. Just then electricity went off. He thinks Dadi used to say that Angel meets at such time. He thinks where is Abhay and collides with Paragi. He holds her hand. She is about to fall. He holds her. Paragi and Sanjay look at each other.
