Once there was a king 4 May 2022: The crowd demands execution for Bari Rani Maa, and stone her. Rani covers Bari Rani Maa and announces only judiciary would punish her. Bari Rani Maa takes an advantage and grabs the gun from an inspector’s belt, she deters them to back up else she would kill Rani. Bindu takes the gun pointing it towards Raja. Rani notices the danger, and asks Raja to do as they say. Bari Rani Maa takes Rani inside and instructs Bindu to shut the doors. Raja and Jeewan run towards the door but it had already been shut, Raaj Mata faints.
Inside, Rani warns that Bari Rani Maa won’t be saved after killing her. Bari Rani Maa was determined to finish the last hope of Amirkot, child of Rana ji and Bari Rani Maa. Juman tries to enter the palace; Bari Rani Maa shots a bullet at him and warns them to stay outside.Jeewan suggests about going from the back door. He takes Raja’s promise not to let anything happen to Rani, and holds Raja up on his shoulder. Raja jumps inside, Bari Rani Maa and Rani were carrying Rani upstairs. Bindu fell on the stairs, the gun drops at the steps. Raja comes to hit her at the back of neck, and carries the gun upstairs. Outside, Raaj Mata wakes up screaming Rani’s name.
Bari Rani Maa had brought her up on the balcony, and laughs hysterically as this is going to be the best of her intentions. She boasts about winning forever. Raaj Mata begs for Rani’s life. Bari Rani Maa reminds she is a witch and is heartless, she was about to pull the trigger when Rana comes from behind. He pulls the trigger but the gun was empty. Bari Rani Maa points the gun towards Rani’s head. She tells Raja that Rana ji and Rani left something in this world, but their love story… Rani takes advantage of the moment and grabs the gun off Bari Rani Maa’s hand. Bari Rani Maa slips down the terrace, she holds on boundary. Rani drops the gun in hands of the inspector.
Rani says legal system would punish her, she won’t let her die before she pays off her sins. She throws a rope towards her to climb. Bari Rani Maa recalls killing so many people ruthlessly. Raja and Rani drags her, but she throws the thread around a pole and drops herself down. Everyone was shocked to see her dead, hanging through the balcony.Police take Bindu along them, while Sarfaraz’s mother gave her witness to reporters. People hooted in favor of Rani.The next morning, a lady flees in veil, while some goons followed her with swords in hand. She runs towards the palace, her feet bleeding.
The newspaper vendor was driving his cycle in which announcement of Rani being first female MNA was played. Raja reads the news and runs upstairs cheerfully. Rani was worried why there were crows over palace, is it a bad omen? Raja assures today is the best day for Amirkot, because today his wife would take oath of first female MNA. From today, there would be peace; it’s a victory of their love.
They girl stepped up the glass floor, her feet hurt.Rani was practicing her speech, Raja joked with her. Rani asks if everything is fine with him, Raja reminds her about her speech.
He himself was drawing something on a red paper, and murmurs a Raja and his Rani. Rani asks what he is writing, Raja says this is the speech he would give after her victory. Rani tries to snatch it playfully, when there was a sudden knock at the door. Raaj Mata comes out to ask who it is; there was an ankle on the steps on palace, filled in blood. Raaj Mata calls Juman, thinking something must be really hurt.
Rani was dressed up trying to tie the knot of her blouse. Raja comes to help her, intimately and help her set her saree. He says after her oath today, he also has to complete an oath that he took while marrying her and after which she would only belong to him.
The pin hurts Rani, Raja whispers he was hurt too. He hugs her from the back.Raaj Mata was doing aarti for Rani while she was ready to leave, and people shouted slogans in her favor. The girl in veil peeked from behind the bushes, Raja notices her presence there but Rani was in a hurry to leave. Rani at once drops her files, Raja holds them one in his hand, the other in hers. At the oath ceremony, the chief guest announces happily about a female being appointed as MNA this time. Rani comes on the stage to make the speech, she opens the file to read it but was shocked, and the chief guest comes to read the poetry Raja had written for Rani. He announces that today they can witness, there is a man behind a successful woman. Everyone claps for Raja. Rani takes the oath.
Later, Rani comes to palace under the shower of flowers. The lady in veil was walking towards the palace when the goons finally caught her. At night, Rani was upset that Jeewan and Meenu both won’t be in the party. Raja drags her on a side, holding her closely. He tells Rani, no one will be there for party; except Raja and Rani. Rani asks where they have gone, Raja complains he is romancing with her and she is concerned. He then says Ambika and Dadu have gone out of town, and servants are on leave. They hold each other closely. He carries Rani to a decorated jumping bed. They play with each other, eating fruits while they lay there.
They girl enters the palace from back gate.
Raja had just carried Rani to bed when the girl comes crying, and demands them to save her. She faints out of fear. Raja and Rani get her treated, she wakes up. Rani assures she is safe here and asks her who they were; then asks for her name. The girl stays silent for a while, then says Shilpa. The goons had entered the palace by then and called her out. Raja and Rani come to the hall, Raja shouts how dare they entered the palace. The goon demanded them to send Sakina back, else… Raja asks what he would do. He deters Raja to send her back to her, else there would be strike in the city. This city belongs to them as well, and leave.
In the room, Sakina joins hands to Rani saying she wouldn’t have let her live here had she told her name. Rani says her religion isn’t greater than the trouble she is in, then calms Sakina down. In the corridor, Rani was worried and suggests about going to meet them. Raja says its police job, he would call the police station in the morning.At night, Rani lay in the bed thinking about Sakina. She comes to her room, Sakina opens the door.In the mosque, the goons were waiting for Sakina. They were determined to do strike until they hand Sakina back to them. A man arrive at the mosque, they all greet him respectfully. He goes straight for ablution. Rani drove in the car towards the mosque. The man prayed alone. His men says it seems she won’t return but only then Rani’s car stops by. She points her finger and says she has taken an oath to protect rights of all the citizens; Sakina has a right to stay away from them upon her wish.
The man says Sakina is a lady, she would only do what men want. Rani replies that a woman is not a slave but a companion, what if she was their sister or mother. The man, praying behind comes to confront Rani that they must have uprooted her.Rani comes to confrontation with the man, he tells Rani that one must amputate the body part that is filled with poison. Rani asks if he wants to break the law, the man replies it’s about ritual’s respect. He insists that a woman has no right. Rani questions what if a woman wants her own happiness, he replies they must cut her feet. Rani says mothers must kill children like him. His men questions how dare she spoke to Nawab Sahib like this, Nawab stops them for not forgetting about their ethics even in argument. Rani says she is the MNA of this city, she would not let unjust take place in their city.
Raja was worried in palace about Rani, Rani returns and tells the inspector they aren’t afraid of any law and order, they broke the boundaries of this palace and now deter to return Sakina. Rani instructs the inspector to file a case against the goons for harassing Sakina, else she would have to remove him from his post. The inspector takes full responsibility of Sakina’s protection. Rani goes upstairs. Raja comes behind her.In the room, Rani was fuming and asks if he also think about suppressing women. Raja assures he is on her side always. Rani calms down, then apologizes for pouring Nawab’s anger over him.In the mosque, Nawab’s men wonder why he was silent. Nawab Iqbal Khan replies the deeper the water is, calmer it is.
The inspector come to inform Iqbal about Rani’s demand. Iqbal announces retaliation as Rani has thrown a stone in calm waters. Bashir and men go to put the city on fire, hanging posters against Rani all along. The inspector calls Rani about worsening conditions of city, Rani was determined if she backs up today she won’t be able to meet eyes with anyone else again. Sakina is her responsibility. There was a bottle bomb thrown at palace door at once. Juman comes to announce a crowd is rushing towards them. Raja hands Juman and gun and takes the family in the basement. Raja stays behind in the basement path to save a servant, Rani hears a gun shot and hurries towards Juman, concerned. Juman sends her inside, as he was fine and was confronting the crowd. Meanwhile, a maid tells Raja that Rani has gone inside. Raja bolts the door from inside, and goes inside.
The crowd enters the palace to gather Rani. Rani flee for life outside. There, Raja goes to look for Rani. Rani was running for life, on roads.Rani enters a house for refuge and bolts it. Bashir laughs at Rani. She turns around to find Iqbal Khan standing there. Iqbal says she has been late, had she accepted her mistake and returned Sakina this must not have happened. Rani shouts he is responsible for all this, his downtrodden thinking. Iqbal says a few men would come searching for her, and the matter would end by itself. There was a knock at the door, Iqbal goes to answer but opens the door only slightly. A lady watches the development from the other room.
In the palace, Sakina held herself responsible for all this chaos.
Bashir asks Iqbal Khan if that MNA came here, he would kill her as she disgraced them. Iqbal Khan says no one is here. Bashir asks to recheck, Iqbal insists no one is here. Bashir says he himself asked to teach her lessons. Iqbal says he didn’t ask them to put the city on fire, strike could be held without this killings. The men leaves saying they would find that MNA anyway.
Raja looks for Rani across the streets, calling her name loud.Rani shouts at Iqbal why he saved her life, she is his enemy. Iqbal boasts he doesn’t forget his ethics even in enemity.
If a woman comes to his door for rescue, he would protect her. Rani asks if he consider women weak, Iqbal says they are weak and are precious too; anything precious needs to be protected. Rani turns to leave, Iqbal holds her behind determined not to let her go. He assures he would protect her family and sends a man after them.
