Once there was a king 19 January 2022: Sulakshna says that she has a condition for Gayatri. Gayatri says she will accept any condition. Sulakshna says Gayatri Devi, the second wife of Rana Indravadhan is a maid of Sulakshna from now one. Everyone including Gayatri is shocked. She asks if she accepts this condition. Rana ji shouts, Sulakshna! How dare you, Gayatri is his wife. Gayatri says Second wife. Gayatri says that she was a subject of Amirkot and will always remain so, it is her duty to respect a Rani. She accepts the condition.
Raaj Mata is hurt, Bari Rani maa smiles victorious. Sulakshna also smiles. Rana ji says to Gayatri he won’t let her do this. Gayatri asks him not to stop her, she knows what she is doing. Gayatri says she knows what she is doing, Rana ji leaves. Sulakshna says she has a severe ache in her foot and turns around, she tells Gayatri to get her shoes. She tells her to bring her shoes and luggage into her room. Gayatri nods, Sulakshna leaves. Gayatri picks them up and follows Sulakshna.Bari Rani maa comes to Jhumki and says that right now there is just a bruise in the relation of Rana ji and Gayatri, they have to give a deep injury that must pain Gayatri after this relation is broken. Bari Rani maa says that tomorrow is Sulakshna’s birthday, she must ask something from Rana ji that will push him to keep only one wife.
Rana ji asks Gayatri why she is doing this all. Gayatri says Sulakshna tried to take her life because of me, this I can’t bear. And atleast I took a decision, now it is Rana ji’s turn to take a decision. She tells him not to make it really late.Kunwar ji tells Swarna to eat something in the slum room. He says if she doesn’t eat something, his grandson will be weak and they want a really healthy grandchild. Kokilla says right now, a lot of things have to be done. She tells Swarna to get ready, and if she doesn’t get ready they have a lot of ways for her. Swarna stands up and says alright, she is ready. Kunwar ji and Kokilla smile.
Swarna says she will do what they ask for, but when they will say to the people because for this, Cheetah must stay with her. Kunwar says they will take him to palace as her ADG. Swarna says this means he will be obliged to her in every way. Swarna agrees, but on one condition. She says that she hates wild animals, he will have to be her pet, and abide by any of her order. She says she has been waiting for a long time, now she isn’t in a mood to eat this. She asks for a banana. Gayatri gets on. Sulakshna asks if in her home, banana is eaten without peeling it off. Sulakshna holds it in a way that Gayatri has to touch it. She tells her that she can’t eat something that her maid has touched, she must drop it. Gayatri says food isn’t wasted. Sulakshna tells her that she must eat it herself. Rana ji watches this and was enraged at her, but Bari Rani maa interferes wishing birthday to Sulakshna.
Sulakshna is shocked and asks if its her birthday. Bari rani maa says she herself can forget her birthday but Rana ji can’t. She shows her a gift from Rana ji. Gayatri gets teary. Sulakshna says if this is from Rana ji, why is Bari Rani maa giving this. Bari rani maa says Rana ji has kept a huge party for her birthday this year as well, maybe he wanted to surprise her. Raaj Mata comes and says that Bari Rani maa surprises her, she has got such a memory in this age as well. She neither forgets something nor let anyone forget. Rana ji leaves. Bari Rani maa says when a daughter in law forgets the responsibility, a mother in law has to take the responsibility. Raaj mata says when the hands begin to shiver, they can no longer hold any responsibilities.
Bari Rani maa says she wants Rana ji’s happiness and it is in his first love. Raaj mata says first wife returns but first love never does. She says to Sulakshna that she doesn’t seem to be Sulakshna, she has fallen in her eyes by disrespecting Gayatri. She asks Gayatri to come with her. Gayatri follows Raaj mata. Jhumki says to Bari Rani maa that her daughter in law is even more curt than her. Bari Rani maa says she knows to take care of her.Gayatri says to Raaj Mata that she shouldn’t have been rude to Sulakshna. Raaj Mata says she doesn’t know Sulakshna but she knows her, forgetting memory doesn’t mean a person changes at all.
She says Bari Raani maa never loved Sulakshna this much. Bari Rani maa stood at the door in veil thinking she must do something to her. Raaj mata says there is something wrong that they must do. She spots the lady in veil and says she must be a spy. Gayatri runs behind Bari Rani maa, Bari Rani maa scolds Gayatri that she hasn’t learnt anything in the palace that one should knock the door. Gayatri says that black veiled lady came in this room. Bari rani maa says that no one came here. Gayatri says she was thinking… but spots the veil under the bed. She picks it up and asks what this is doing here. Bari Rani maa is speechless.
Gayatri asks Bari Rani maa where this veil came from. Bari Rani maa says she distributed veils among her maids for Navratri. Bari Rani maa says she has a lot more to do, today is Sulakshna’s birthday and she has to make her up as well. Gayatri assures her that she will do it all. Bari Rani maa says that Sulakshna is so lucky, she got her as her Sotan (husband’s second wife).Sulakshna watches the necklace and says this is really beautiful, he knows her choice. Rana ji says he forgot her birthday, he is sorry for that. He looks back at Sulakshna who was smiling, he says he will try his best that she keeps on smiling always.
She comes with a necklace to him, he says he needs something from her. Sulakshna says he wants her not to treat Gayatri like a maid. Rana ji says that Gayatri lied to her because of him. Sulakshna says she can’t deny anything he says, but this won’t be free. Rana ji asks what? She says she isn’t asking him to send Gayatri away. Rana ji asks what she wants. Rana ji says they are Rajput and will keep the promise, she must know about it. She comes to Rana ji and asks him to give her the rights of a wife, and return her love to her. She asks him to let tonight be their night. Gayatri comes and hears this all, as Sulakshna keeps a hand on his shoulder and asks him one night as a gift.
Rana ji holds her hand away and leaves. Gayatri also leaves, but Rana ji stops her in the corridor. Sulakshna comes behind them. Gayatri turns to look at her, Rana ji also looks at Sulakshna. She says that she hopes Rana ji will come early tonight and leaves. Rana ji turns to Gayatri, she says she doesn’t need any clarification. She says tonight, he must take a decision. And that decision is not for one night but for a life time, she says that in this fight, either she will succeed completely or lose completely. She leaves. Rana ji also goes inside. Jhumki cheers that when Bari Rani maa was born a hundred fox must have died. Bari Rani maa says a lot has to be done tonight. She says tonight, when an anklet is bind in the feet of respect, Rana ji will cry blood.
In the palace, Bari Rani maa welcomes Rana ji. She says to Rana ji that one has to burn tonight, to lighten the Amirkot’s throne. He must take the decision in time. Gayatri helps Sulakshna get ready, Sulakshna asks her to do everything fast, everyone must be waiting for her. Gayatri prickles her own hand with the Maang tikka. Sulakshna wears it and sticks it on her mask. Gayatri wonders why it didn’t hurt on Sulakshna’s face. Jhumki repeats her ‘Oo teri’. Gayatri is alert again, but Sulakshna composes herself. She says to Gayatri that she wants to make Rana ji so happy tonight that he forgets everything that happened behind her ever. She tells Gayatri to get ready, and thinks she will turn the game tonight.
Raaj Mata comes to open a wardrobe, she thinks that she will not let Gayatri down in hands of Sulakshna tonight. Bari Rani maa locks her inside the room. Raaj mata keeps on knocking the door. Bari Raani maa laughs that she was much worried about Gayatri, now she will remain locked in the room.In the party, the cake arrives. Jhumki again cheer cheaply repeating Oo teri. Rana ji stares at her and says he never saw her so restless before. Sulakshna says she was never this happy before, she asks Rana ji to cut the cake. Rana ji asks to wait for Raaj Mata. Bari raani maa says if Raaj Mata isn’t here, she is there.
Rana ji says he will get Raaj Mata. Bari Raani maa says Raaj Mata doesn’t want to participate in her elder daughter in law’s happiness, they must respect her stubbornness. Rana ji looks at Gayatri and then Sulakshna and head to cut the cake. Sulakshna holds Rana ji’s arm, Gayatri doesn’t look their way. Bari Raani maa asks to put the cake in Sulakshna’s mouth as she did. He abides by her. Bari Raani maa asks Gayatri to sweeten Sulakshna’s mouth, as it is her birthday. Gayatri comes to put cake in Sulakshana’s mouth, Bari Raani maa asks Sulakshna to give it to Gayatri as well. Gayatri says she can’t eat it, it contains egg. Sulakshna mocks Gayatri for being a vegetarian, she says Gayatri will never be able to learn the rituals of palace. Rana ji stops Sulakshna.
Gayatri says it is about sweet and calls for sugar, Sulakshna puts a spoon in Gayatri’s mouth. Gayatri wishes Sulakshna, Sulakshna asks her for a gift. Gayatri asks what else is remaining to be given, but what she wants. Sulakshna wants her to make this evening memorable, she had claimed to be her maid and tonight she must dance in this gathering.Sulakshna asks Gayatri to dance. Rana ji says Gayatri is their respect, if she wants her to dance in public. Bari Raani maa sides Rana ji. Sulakshna says Gayatri doesn’t belong to Raaj family. Rana ji asks if she has losted also along with losing her memory.
Sulakshna says he has got lost somewhere, she had heard the stories of their love but she has to fight for her right of a wife here. If he has to do this all, he must send her back and live with this other lady. Gayatri goes to dance, and begins the song. Rana ji angrily takes the seat, Sulakshna also sits with him. Rana ji was so enraged he clutched his fist.Raaj Mata called someone to open the door. Yashoda came looking for Raaj Mata, thinking there is going to be a disaster here. She picks up a pearl that Raaj Mata threw, Raaj Mata calls from inside. Yashoda says it is locked, Raaj Mata asks her to break the lock. Yashoda assures to open.
Gayatri performed, Sulakshna enjoyed. Rana ji was angry.Yashoda breaks open the lock, Raaj Mata asks what happened in the party. Yashoda says everything ended. Rana ji heads towards Gayatri, she danced around him. He holds her when she drops herself in front of him at the end.Sulakshna disliked it. Rana ji holds Gayatri to stand, he takes her to Sulakshna and says the love stories she had heard were with some other Sulakshna, she isn’t that Sulakshna. That Sulakshna used to ache watching someone else’s pain. Bari Raani maa tells Rana ji not to speak about family matters in front of others. Rana ji says Sulakshna started it all, it will end in front of other.
Rana ji says that a call girl and a Jogan both dance, but Jogan dances to change the gatherings to temples. Everyone witnessed this here. He says lets go, Rani Gayatri Devi, nods at her and takes her inside.In the room, Rana ji says to Gayatri that this is why he didn’t want her to be a maid of Sulakshna. This isn’t the Sulakshna he knew. Gayatri says she doesn’t know both Sulakshna, it doesn’t matter. What matters is, what your owns do. Sulakshna comes there clapping, she says she is spreading hatred for her in Rana ji’s heart. Rana ji tells Sulakshna to stop it. Gayatri tells Rana ji to let her speak. Gayatri asks what she didn’t fulfil, she abide by all her orders.
Sulakshna says none of her wish was fulfilled still. Gayatri says the problem is in her wishes. She says she considered her as first wife of Rana ji, but she only considered her Sotan. She says to Sulakshna that if she carries fire in her chest, she will burn. Sulakhsna asks if she is backing up from her promise, Gayatri says she is Seth Govind’s daughter, never turns from her promises. Rana ji can take his promises himself. Gayatri leaves. Sulakshna says a Raja promised her, she hopes a husband doesn’t break them, she will wait for him right at ten.In the room, Sulakshna gets all the preperations done by Gayatri, she tells her to spread the flowers on bed.
Give her a massage and open her hair. She tells Gayatri that she will do the breakfast late tomorrow. Rana ji comes inside. Gayatri leaves asking if this is his decision. Rana ji angrily says this is his decision. Gayatri turns to say she had told him one heart must break tonight, she knows now whose heart it is. Rana ji shuts the door.
Rana ji turns around, outside Gayatri drops the flower plate and runs through the corridor. Rana ji shuts his eyes tight. Gayatri sits beside a wall and cry. Sulakshna says she knew that Rana ji can’t choose a simple girl leaving her alone.
Rana ji goes to light candles, then get intimate with Sulakshna and says this is enough of her to fell in his eyes. She asks what he is saying. He jerks her hand away saying this isn’t love. Sulakshna asks what is it that isn’t there in her. Rana ji says Gayatri’s feeling isn’t leaving him even in a thousand nights. Sulakshna says Gayatri isn’t here even. He says a flowers aroma remains there in the air for a long time. She holds him saying she will get him tonight. Rana ji says he can’t disrespect a woman, but she left him with no choice. He drags Sulakshna out of the room, comes to Gayatri and hugs her.
