Noyontara: the hidden truth is a new series on starlife that replaced The Evil Eye Returns. It is about a young girl with a gift of speaking and seeing Ghosts. She uses that opportunity to help the ghost with their unfinished business on earth. However, this gift makes her a target for fear and scorn by the people around her, so much so she had to leave her family so early.

A twist of fate happens when she becomes the wife of Dr. Surjo, can she be able to win his love and affection and also make him forget about his haunting past?

The titular Noyontara (played by Shruti Bhist) steps into the lavish yet ominous Pari Mahal as Dr Surjo’s new bride, only to discover that her real in-laws might be the ones lurking beyond the veil.

With a cheeky ghost sidekick named Hasiram and two very much dead women claiming to be her mother-in-law, Noyontara must untangle love from manipulation, science from the supernatural, and figure out whether she’s being guided… or gaslit.

Noyontara, a 23-year-old ghost-whisperer has always lived on the fringes, ridiculed for her rare gift. Her life takes a drastic turn when she marries Dr. Surjo, a man of science and reason, still wallowing in guilt over his tragic past. When Noyontara enters Surjo’s house, the grand and enigmatic Pari Mahal, she’s pulled into a web of secrets where the past refuses to stay buried. With a playful and mischievous ghost named Hasiram as her unlikely ally, she begins to unravel the ancestral mansion’s history of greed and forgotten truths.

She encounters two women — Lata and Lalita — both claiming to be her mother-in-law. Lalita urges her to save her son, Surjo, from a fate worse than death, while Lata seeks to manipulate Noyontara’s gift for her own sinister agenda. As their intentions blur, Noyontara must decide: who is guiding her and who is leading her into a trap?
