Reet tells everyone that they will search everyone if her family is going to be searched. Raghav comes there and says there is no need to search anyone, he says I have the heirloom, he shows it and says I took it out of the box before. He apologizes to the guests. Sharda is angry seeing that. The guests leave from there. Chachi says my daughter was blamed for no reason, you need to clarify this. Raghav says I took out the heirloom because I wanted to gift it to Reet myself. The flashback shows how Sharda told Raghav that Smitha stole the heirloom but their honor matters the most so he should hide that fact and she got the heirloom back from Smitha so its fine. The flashback ends.
Previous Wednesday update marriage for duty
Raghav pulls Reet closer and makes her wear the belly heirloom, he thinks he won’t let her stop this wedding at any cost. Reet tells him to stop this drama now. He says I learned it from you how to create a scene. Chachi says my daughter got tarnished for no reason? if his parents were here then they would be disappointed. Raghav is angry hearing that. Sharda tells everyone to calm down and takes them for dinner. Reet is about to take off the heirloom but Bhabhi gives her parsad and says don’t be bitter about anything now. Reet thanks her and takes persad.
Reet is going for dinner when she finds an envelope about the construction company that she is investigating. She says what is it doing here? what if Raghav’s company is supporting this company? does this mean he is behind Rahim’s death? Smitha calls her.
Suman Chachi sits down in front of the guests and says she won’t go anywhere, her upbringing was questioned today when they don’t even talk about Raghav’s mother. She says Raghav’s father photo can be seen in the house but what about his mother? we deserve to know the truth about him. Raghav comes there and says we don’t talk about her because.. she is dead. All look on. Raghav says we have bad memories associated with her so we don’t talk about her. He sadly looks at Unnati and leaves. Reet thinks he has many secrets but she will expose him soon.
Scene
Dhruv is ignoring Smitha, she asks what happened? he asks what was she doing in Raghav’s room and looking at that heirloom? Suman says you are questioning her? Dhruv says what was she doing in his room? Reet says I sent her there because I ran away from the function for some time. Dhruv asks why did she leave then? Reet says you are questioning me now? He says I just want functions to happen without issues. Reet tells him to stop it and thinks she can’t tell him that she lost her job and is investigating a case which might be linked to Raghav. Reet’s mother comes there and asks her what is she up to? she seems distracted.
Raghav comes to Unnati and sees her sitting sadly. He tries to console her but she says why did you lie that our mother is dead? he says she is dead for us. She says I can’t forget her when I see her in the news all the time and doing things for others but not for her own kids.
Reet’s mother tells her that she forgot to invite Mrs. Chawla from her father’s trust, who took care of her education when she lost her father and never took any credit for it. What’s going on with you? Reet says I forgot to invite her, I know she has done a lot for us and she is like my second mother.
Raghav tells Unnati that he can’t forget what she did with them. She says he has given her everything but she deserves her mother’s blessings in her wedding. Raghav says no, that woman is dead to us. Unnati says it pained me when Reet’s mother blessed her in the function and her mother wasn’t there. Sharda comes there and says stop comparing yourself with Reet as she has no Raghav to take care of her wishes. Raghav doesn’t even believe in God but he went to pray in the mandir for you. Raghav says Unnati’s happiness matters to me the most, he says I will go and give her a wedding card in the mandir.
Reet arrives in the mandir and finds Mrs. Chawla giving out parsad to the kids.
Raghav comes in the mandir and prays for Unnati. He recalls how in childhood, his mother (Mrs. Chawla) would bring him to the mandir and he would steal laddos from her. He is pained recalling that. He says I am here for Unnati only.
Raghav starts beating Sudheer but Reet stops him and says let the police handle him, the officer takes him away. Sharda asks who gave him the tip that Sudheer was behind it? He says it was Reet. All are shocked. She says I didn’t call you. He says don’t be scared, you helped us so thank you, he leaves from there. Raghav tells Reet that she should have let him handle it, she says I didn’t call the police. Sharda says you wanted credit as a reporter so you didn’t care about our honor? you could have told Raghav, don’t you trust her one bit? Raghav says she wasn’t investigating him but me for corruption. Unnati says Raghav can never do that. Sharda asks if she didn’t do it to get her job back? her mother says she already has a job. Sharda says Reet lost her job weeks back and she never told your family. Her mother asks if that’s true? she says yes. Her mother cries and says you were my pride but you brought shame to me today. Reet says what it looks like is not true, I can’t prove it but I didn’t do it. All glare at her.
Reet is crying alone recalling her mother being disappointed with her. Viraj comes there so she blames him for calling the police and says you tried to frame Raghav right? He says what is wrong with you? you are taking his side now because he is going to be your husband now? Reet says my job comes first and I would never tarnish that. Raghav and others hear that. They blame her, Viraj angrily leaves. Chacha tells Reet that she shouldn’t have done that. Her mother says she has crossed a line for trying to frame Raghav. Reet says I just wanted to know if Raghav is the culprit or not. Dhruv says you have spoiled everything, I think you wanted to break this wedding. Dhruv tells Reet that she is blinded by her hatred for Raghav so she didn’t see how good of a person he is. He angrily leaves. Her mother tells her that Dhruv isn’t wrong, you should accept Raghav as your partner now and stop blaming him for no reason.
Raghav tells Veeran that he should have known what Suhdeer was up to, I have to tell people that I am not a criminal now. How did this happen? Sharda slaps Veeran and says you are useless if you couldn’t find out about Sudheer. Veeran apologizes to Raghav. Bhabhi begs Sharda to forgive him. Unnati tells Sharda that Reet isn’t good for him, please don’t marry him because Dhruv is going to keep her happy regardless. Raghav says I don’t care, I am marrying her as a guarantee and that won’t change.
Raghav comes to his room and recalls how in childhood, his mother left him.
Mrs. Chawla says she should find out who Reet is marrying. She is about to check the card but someone comes to meet with her.
Reet calls Raghav so he blasts at her, she says I am sorry for what happened today but she didn’t call the police. Raghav says I don’t believe you. She says I just wanted to apologize. Raghav says I don’t care. Reet says we are going to be married soon so you will have to care. She ends the call.
