Heer is confused about her feelings for Jeet. She considers Jasmin’s remarks to distinguish between love and friendship. However, she hides her feelings and prefers to concentrate on family and career. But as soon as Heer shuts her eyes, she recalls her previous dream with Jeet’s face. Jeet believes he must control his emotions and cannot let Heer be embarrassed again. Heer believes she merely hopes well for Jeet as a friend. Sartaj approaches Jeet and queries why he is still awake and whether he is troubled by business.
Jeet says he’s attempting to work and overcome obstacles. Sartaj indirectly instructs Jeet to continue attempting to obtain someone who is really near, and he will undoubtedly succeed. Jeet becomes perplexed and thinks of Heer. Heer and Jeet witness the shooting star and wish each other happiness. Gurmeet receives a call from someone but ignores it. He takes Jasmin’s gold necklace and phones the individual to see if his work can be completed if they keep some gold with them. Jasmin queries Gurmeet about what he was looking for in the cupboard, and he gives an excuse.
Sunny and Simran discuss the parents-teacher meeting, so Sartaj decides to use the opportunity to send Heer and Jeet to school together so they can spend time together. Sartaj pretends to have back pain and instructs Teji to report it to the physiotherapist. Rajwinder observes everything silently. Teji and Sartaj agree to send Heer to school with the kids for the parent-teacher meeting. Jeet is waiting in the car when Heer enters and sits by his side. She tries to wear the seatbelt but struggles, so Jeet assists her; Heer is ashamed. Jeet asks why Heer doesn’t look at him. Simran orders Heer to play some music, and all the love songs continue playing, making Heer and Jeet feel uncomfortable.
Heer finally turned off the music. Jeet believes he must keep his distance from Heer because he may have upset her. Gurmeet believes a car is following him and attempts to flee, afraid. Heer offers Simran and Sunny candy to distribute among their pals. Teachers mistakenly believe that Jeet and Heer are Sunny and Simran’s parents. Simran informs Sunny and decides to bring them as parents to each meeting.
Simran and Sunny want Heer to play their parents because their peers will mock them if they discover they do not have a father. Heer agrees when they make large requests. The children urge Heer to hold Jeet’s hand because all of the parents are holding hands. Heer clutches Jeet’s arm, surprising him. She acts like a pair in front of the professors. Jeet misunderstands Heer’s advice to move on in life. Heer fails to inform Jeet that they must appear to be a couple for the sake of the children. The episode concludes with Jeet reflecting on Heer’s compassion for him.
At the parent-teacher meeting for Sunny and Simrit, the teachers suggest a compatibility game for the parents. Jeet thinks they can’t play since they’re not Sunny and Simrit’s parents, but he’s about to tell the truth to the teacher. Heer starts acting to stop him and says they’ll definitely play. She even addresses Jeet as her husband, making him blush. He thinks Heer’s behavior is different today and feels happy about it. When another parent admires their love, Jeet wonders why he couldn’t see Heer’s love for him before.
Heer thinks Jeet might think she’s gone mad for calling him her husband. She takes Jeet aside to talk to him, but they have a miscommunication. Meanwhile, Heer thinks Jeet knows why she’s pretending and feels relieved. Sartaj and Teji return home and get confronted by Rajwinder for coming back too soon.
Teji tells Sartaj’s back pain is better with physiotherapy. Sartaj makes excuses and goes to rest to avoid Rajwinder’s questions. Rajwinder insists Teji go to school herself and check on the kids, hoping to create distance between Jeet and Heer. Heer and Jeet play the compatibility game and answer questions about each other. Jeet wonders if he should keep any hopes based on the game’s result. Teji’s car tire punctures on the way to school.
Sunny’s friend predicts their parents will win, making the kids happy. Teji calls Rajwinder for help, but Rajwinder decides to return home instead. Heer and Jeet write the same favorite memory, impressing the teacher, who declares them as winners. Jeet thinks Heer and he are definitely made for each other. They are announced as winners. After the meeting, Heer tells Jeet about the fake couple act, leaving him shattered.
Heer is about to follow Jeet to talk to him but gets a call from Jasmine that Beant is missing for five hours. Jeet feels hurt thinking about the recent incident. The kids thank Jeet for acting as their parents. Jeet regrets scolding Heer unnecessarily. Heer asks Jeet to take the kids home as she needs to urgently help Jasmine. Jasmine tells Heer about not being able to contact Beant and asks her to take Jeet’s help to find Beant.
