Heer asks how the kids ended up there. Teji explains they were headed to the fair. Heer wonders why Jarnail is there since the fair is far away. Jarnail suggests finding the kids first. Heer agrees, emphasizing the urgency. Sunny and Simran hide from their father, expressing fear of him. Teji and Heer search for the kids. Sunny and Simran sneak onto a truck to evade Jarnail. Teji prays for a clue. She discovers a shoe, recalling seeing a truck earlier and hearing the kids’ voices.
Meanwhile, Jeet is nearby and notices a sound from the truck. He alerts the driver, who dismisses it. Jeet then attends a job interview, impressing the interviewer with his honesty. He refuses to divulge information about the Atwals, citing his integrity. The interviewer is impressed and offers Jeet the job.
Heer recalls the company name on the truck and suggests investigating. Jarnail insists on going to the police station, deeming it a waste of time. Jeet hears Sunny’s voice from the truck and frees the kids. He tries to call Heer and Teji, but his call is rejected. He finds Simran unwell and assures Teji that the kids are safe. Heer praises Jeet’s kindness despite others hurting him. Jeet takes care of the kids and prepares noodles for them.
Jeet assures Teji that he has given the kids medicine. Sunny explains how they got locked in the truck and praises Jeet as a superhero. Jarnail accuses Jeet of orchestrating the situation to look like a hero. He questions how Jeet always appears at the right time. Jeet denies planning anything, emphasizing that scaring the kids is wrong. Heer defends Jeet, stating that he wouldn’t do such a thing.
Jeet confronts Jarnail, criticizing his parenting. He points out that instead of loving them, Jarnail always scolds the kids. He advises Jarnail to learn how to be a father, but Heer intervenes. Jarnail challenges Jeet, questioning if he knows what it means to be a father or who his own father is.
Jarnail asked Jeet if he knew who his father was. Jeet requested not to talk about his parents. Jarnail called him an illegitimate child and when Heer tried to intervene, he reminded her of her promise not to meet Jeet. Jeet was shocked to hear this. Jarnail kept provoking Jeet by speaking against his parents. Heer requested Jarnail to stop crossing the line. Teji also arrived and asked Jarnail to stop since the kids had just fallen asleep and would wake up again.
Jarnail badmouthed Jeet’s mother for giving birth to him out of wedlock and called her characterless. Jeet lost his temper and slapped Jarnail. Heer told Jeet that he shouldn’t have raised his hand on Jarnail. Jarnail requested Heer not to talk to him as she had already promised not to. Jeet called his father a coward for leaving his mother and him. He expressed hatred towards his father, which hurt Sartaj. Jeet said that if it wasn’t for Heer’s in-laws, he would have killed anyone speaking against his mother, then he left. Jarnail wanted to follow Jeet, but Sartaj stopped him.
Rajwinder questioned Sartaj for siding with Jeet instead of his own son and asked how they could let him go after he slapped Jarnail. She blamed Heer for bringing Jeet into their lives. Sartaj told Rajwinder that she had no right to say anything to Heer, as it was their mistake for not teaching Jarnail properly. He said that Heer was right when she said that nobody could speak against their mother. Rajwinder told Jarnail to let it go since his father wouldn’t understand him. Heer thought she had never seen Jeet so angry before and believed that he must have been very hurt.
Heer thought she couldn’t contact Jeet and wondered how to find him. Sartaj picked up Santosh’s picture and cried, regretting not being able to tell their son that his father never wanted to leave him and still loved him very much. He explained how he didn’t want to spend just one night, but his entire life with Santosh’s mother. Rajwinder arrived and asked Sartaj if he was secretly talking to his illegitimate child. She questioned what he would do about Jeet and said that during the argument, it seemed like his son wasn’t Jarnail, but Jeet.
Sartaj took Santosh’s picture back from Rajwinder and kept it. Heer called Guldasta and informed him about the incident, asking him not to leave Jeet alone. Guldasta couldn’t find Jeet, so he called Jasmin to inquire about him. Navjot and Gurmeet also overheard everything. They blamed Jeet for ruining Heer’s life. Teji told Heer that she was thankful to Jeet for saving the kids but it was wrong of him to raise his hand against Jarnail. Heer thought that Jeet always thought about others’ well-being but had to suffer so much. Rajwinder tried to provoke Jarnail against Jeet.
