Lies of the heart 16 June 2020: sushma comes in and is surprised to find urmi, happily packing shaurya’s clothes. urmi tells about shaurya’s call. Susham is happy and says that she knew this. urmi receives a call, and is shocked to find that its ravi, who accuses her of having an ulterior motive of staying there, and asks her to get out of his way.

Urmi is stunned as he asks what does she want from them and what motive does she have. She asks what nonsense is he talking about, and then thrashes him for being the worst son possible. She asks him to talk with respect and vents out her frustration at him, for being so callous and indifferent to his parents. Sushma takes the phone and begins to reprimand ravi, for doing evils, and then even trying to torture urmi for the same. she screams at her to cancel the phone. Ravi cancels. She is apalled. urmi is tensed.
The next morning, sushma and her husband are tensed to find urmi gone, as she never goes without telling them, and are tensed for her.
Scene 2:
Location: Samrat’s and amrit’s residence
Samrat is in a mood to philander around again, and calls up the pimp, to find a new and best item that he has, for thr night. The pimp agrees. Just then, shaurya springs in from behind, and samrat is shocked out of his wits. He is asked if he is going anywhere, and he says that he has some work. seeing shaurya’s probing nature, Samrat thinks that urmi’s soul has trapped shaurya. He says that he has an urgent meeting and has to go.
shaurya also decides to tag along, saying that he promised that he would take him anytime to the office. samrat asks him to sleep like a good son, and he says that he needs him to sleep with himself, as he cant sleep otherwise. He asks shaurya to go to the washroom. When he complies, Samrat then calls the pimp, asking him to send the girl inside, as he would be delayed in coming. He complies. Shaurya comes out and samrat irritatedly puts him to sleep, after refusing him to sing a lullaby and put him to sleep.
The whole house is excited when samrat announces to them that urmi would come back any minute. Shaurya and mandira are happy too. Samrat comes in asking if all preparations are done. Kanchan taunts him that they havent even worshipped God and Goddesses like this. shaurya gets excited to see urmi come back with a suitcase. She too is overwhelmed as he rushes to hug her. All are overwhelmed to see her, except for shashi. Shaurya asks her if she wont ever leave him, and she says that she wont. samrat smirks and extends his hand to her, while she looks at him in shock.
She then takes his hand and gets up. All are shocked, as he takes urmi in his lap. That is too much for shashi to bear as she wakes up from her sleep, and realises that its all a dream and that she wont let samrat be trapped in urmi’s affection yet again. Rudra asks whats she rambling and she shushes him, and leaves the room.
The next morning, shashi finds that everything is normal, and happy that not everyone is excited that urmi is coming back. Shaurya instructs mukti, to make all that urmi likes, as she is coming today. Samrat is proud that shaurya is exactly following his suit. Shaurya tells what urmi likes, and then gives half the work to Mukti, and then assigns the rest to shashi, and rudra too pitches in. shashi is irritated, but samrat supports him, saying that now diwali would be doubly happy.
Mandira takes shaurya aside that they have to make and finish the welcome card for urmi. Just then, servants come in with flower trays to decorate the room, and the entire house. shashi starts getting irritated, but samrat shuts her up, saying that this would happen, as urmi is coming back to stay here forever. He adds insult to fury, that she has to welcome urmi too. Samrat tells the servants to decorate the entire house with flowers. she warns samrat that urmi would rule his head, if he pampers her like this.
Samrat says that urmi is just like the sacrificial animal, who is pampered and treated well, right before the journey of torment begins. Shashi happily asks if he is saying the truth. samrat asks her to just wait and watch what happens tomorrow onwards with urmi. Rudra, kanchan and aditi are tensed. Shashi waits impatiently, as urmi doesnt arrive. samrat maintains his calm and is relaxed, as he is sure that urmi would come. kanchan thinks that samrat is in fact trapped by urmi, and he doesnt even know it.
Meanwhile, Amrit is super happy with the perfect quality of the fake jewellery, that can easily befool shashi. he decides to call up aditi and complies. He gets romantic with her, and then tells her to get shashi’s jewellery. aditi says that she too has been trying to get in touch with him, but didnt want to arouse suspicion. He also pretends to be too concerned, and that on Diwali, the jewellery shall be out and worshipped too, he asks her to get here and take them, before trouble begins. aditi promises to come asap. Amrit thinks that he would replace the real, expensive jewellery with the fake ones. He smiles and guffaws evilly.
Finally, after much wait, urmi arrives. shaurya rushes out to meet urmi, who hugs him in glee. Shashi finds her dream coming to reality. samrat thinks that finally urmi had to come back to him, and that he had his win over her finally, and that he would convert her life to hell now, as he eyes urmi caressing shaurya.
Location: Samrat’s residence
Shaurya and aditi insistently call urmi inside, while smarat smirks at his win. kanchan asks how is she, and that she must have enjoyed. urmi says that she is okay. kanchan says that she is fine too. Urmi then goes to rudra and takes his blessings, who is happy to see her. Shashi, on being instructed by samrat, attends to urmi, praising her and how happy she is to receive urmi back. samrat asks urmi to notice how much she is respected but she always rebukes everyone. mukti comes to meet urmi, and samrat asks him to keep the suitcasde upstairs.
Shaurya asks urmi to come and have a seat. they all sit down. Urmi looks at the decoration and asks whats this. shaurya says that its all for welcome. mandira too comes down and urmi is overwhelmed to see her, and they banter happily. Mandira expresses that they miss her, and then go onto gloat about the greeting card. Shaurya asks mukti to get food for urmi. But urmi says that she isnt hungry. shaurya asks if she missed him, and she says that she missed him dearly.
They all ask urmi to eat, as its all her specials. urmi asks if he is happy, and he says that he is very happy, and that now she is here, he is much happier, as she too shall stay with them now. she gets tensed, and tells him that she hasnt come to stay here, but to meet. All get tensed. aditi asks whats the matter. samrat too hurriedly asks. urmi says that since they both missed each other, she came to meet him and not to stay. they are all tensed. samrat asks that she came with stuff, then why is she creating a drama.
She says that she got all of shaurya’s stuff. shashi is in glee, and then adds insult to fury, by insinuating urmi. Mandira is disappointed. rudra says that he thought his house would be okay once again. shashi instigates samrat that she had told him so. Shaurya anbd mandira beg her to stay, while she says that she wont be able to, but she would come wherever he misses her. samrat gets enraged and asks how can she come, as shaurya isnt begging for her company. She ignores him, and apologising to all, she turns around. She begins to leave. As urmi begins to go, samrat wrenches her hand and threatens her that she cant go by leaving him and this house. she eyes him determinedly, and with controlled rage asks him to let go of her hand. The kidds are shocked.
He insistently reprimands her that she cant leave him, and that she actually came here to insult and put him down in front of everyone. she says that kids shouldnt see this, and that he should behave as it would have a bad psycholigacl impact on shaurya, who is visbly scared of their tension. In his fury, he brands her selfish and a vixen. she asks him not to say such things, and that she just wants her son’s happiness. He says that she is lying, as she said that she cant stay without him for a minute, and now she is going back on that. samrat vents out his frustration, that he knew due to shaurya, urmi would come back, hence he got him here.
she is shocked that shaaurya was used by his own father and that she knew its all a facade, and thought the actually became a father. she says that he can never change, and thats what scares her, to keep him alone. samrat tries to shush her, but she too asks him not to shout, as that wont change the truth, and asks him to stop his tactics, or else he would be ruined soon. Urmi says that no power can ever get her back to him now, and asks him if he understood. Samrat is shocked.
She kisses shaurya once again and then composing herself and shaurya and tells the family, that she didnt want to tell this in front of shaurya but has to say, and asks samrat to stop using him, as they should focus on giving her son a good future, as she wont risk his future at any cost, and samrat should understand this. She asks shaurya to take care of himself, as she would come to meet him. urmi takes her bag, and then asks samrat to better take care of his son and then walks out. samrat is in a rage, while all are tensed. Samrat is frustrated, and begins to break things, while the kids are scared. all are tensed.
In their room, samrat vents out his frustration and venom against urmi, while shaurya is deeply psychologically affected as tears stream down his cheeks, while samrat tries to make him believe that urmi doesnt love her son at all.
Scene 2:
Location: Sushma’s residence
Sushma’s husband is assured when sushma tells him that urmi had a talk with her. Then he finds her making sweets. He is boggled and asks howcome she is celebrating diwali this year. Sushma says that its all due to urmi, as she filled the emptiness in their lievs, and she wants to live again, and that if she can bear all this at her age, then they are much more mature. He agrees to her.
Later, as urmi comes home, urmi expresses her tension for shaurya, living with samrat, and how he must be treated, and tells them what happened. They are tensed too along with urmi, as they too agree with urmi’s opinion on samrat’s character. urmi says that sher wont let their situation spoil shaurya’s future. they are tensed that such a small child is getting affected. Sushma asks urmi not to worry, as shaurya would come back soon, seeing through samrat’s charade, and when he comes back, that would be a lesson to samrat. urmi is tensed.
Scene 3:
Location: Annu’s residence
As all discuss urmi’s condition, as usual, saroj and annu side with urmi, while granny and devi continue to proclaim that samrat is innocent, and that urmi is unneceassrily stretching the matter, and should instead think of shaurya’s healthy future. saroj asks if its just urmi’s responsibility, and samrat can be callous, while annu points out that samrat doesnt even care for shaurya. just then, gaurav comes in with gifts for diwaly. He gives them all, while saroj tries to maintain her composure and not upset gaurav. He also gets a gift for urmi. asha asks about her doll. Annu distracts asha by asking her what would be the name of the child. granny suggests names, and asha says that she would name her daughter, rashmi. All are shocked. annu clarifies who was rashmi. Asha resigns that she would have to think of a different name.
Scene 4:
Location: Samrat’s residence
At the dining table, samrat asks of his son, and gets to know that he didnt want to come out. He asks shashi that she couldnt even manage to feed a small child. Finally shaurya comes down and all excitedly greet him, and assk him to come down and sit for dinner. he expresses his wish to go to his mother. samrat is boggled. Shashi tries to convince him, but shaurya starts insisting that he wants to go to his mother. samrat gets enraged. Samrat lashes out at shaurya, that his mother is dead and that he should stop ranting her name. Shaurya manages to say that he wants to go to urmi, and then faints. All are shocked.
All are shocked to find shaurya unconscious, and that he is running a high temperature. Samrat instantly starts blaming rudra starts talking about the mental pressure and the trauma that shaurya is in.
Samrat waives it off, and tries to wake him up, and asks everyone to relax, as its just a fever and that he is living with his father, and wont have any issues. Finally shaurya wakes up, and samrat tries to get him to talk. He finds that urmi isnt there, and calling her name, he gets unconscious again. rudra starts reprimanding samrat that he didnt even think about using the child, and what effect it would have on shaurya. He tries to point to samrat, that he cant win a child’s love due to temptations and allures, and that he would always want to go to his mother.
He tells samrat that he lost yet again. samrat lashes out at him, that he wont lose or has he ever. Samrat is unaware and least bothered for shaurya’s health, while trying to prove a point to Rudra, that he doesnt accept deafet in a game. he says that he would win it anyhow or at any cost. aditi asks him to think about shaurya first. As samrat and aditi rush upstairs with shaurya, Rudra asks shashi to make him understand the need of shaurya being with his mother right now. shashi is tensed.
Later, kanchan gives him meds, and samrat is impatient. He asks shashi to sleep with him tonight, while she is hesitant. She says that she isnt a doctor. He says that she would have to take care of him. Aditi points out that shaurya needs urmi right now. kanchan too favours him. samrat shuts them both, and shashi agrees with samrat. aditi asks him to understand, but he asks what do they want, that urmi gains importance if he calls up and asks her to come, as they cant handle a kid.
All are distraught as shaurya calls out his mother’s name. Samrat asks shashi to make him sleep, and get him alright in the morning, and healthy. He leaves, and shashi gets tensed wondering what to do. All are tensed.
The next morning, the doctor comes and checks up shaurya and asks them to continue the medicine, and adds that the fever isnt remititng even with the strong doses. aditi asks if any tests need to be done. The doctor tells them that tests arenbt necessary, but shaurya needs to cheer up, as he is sad and that slows the recovery, and asks them to notice that somethingn is bothering and suffocating shaurya from inside, and he isnt able to tell them. All are tensed for him. samrat shuts him, and asks him to leave, as they would try and keep him happy. the doctor leaves.
Aditi again asks Samrat to call up urmi, as shaurya wont be okay otherwise. He tries to cheer shaurya, but he watches tensedly. Samrat tries to lure him to get well, so that they can celebrate diwali with much pomp. He asks shaurya what does he need this Diwali, as he would get him anything.
Shaurya says that he wants to go to his mother. Samrat tries to distract him but in vain. samrat composes his anger and asks shashi to get it in shaurya’s head that urmi wont come nor would he go to her, and that he would have to stay with his father. Aditi asks whats he doing.
Samrat tells shaurya that his mother is dead and that she wont come here never. shashi agrees and he leaves out in haste. She comes to shaurya and asks him to forget his mother, as they would celebrate Diwali together. Aditi is severely tensed.
