Lies of the heart 27 June 2020: As Tiwari ji serves urmi soup, she is tensed for shuarya, and he assures her that shaurya isnt fed and nicely tucked in, at the neighbour’s place. ishaan is shocked at samrat’s insinuations and presumptions about him being the father.

tiwari asks him not to be tensed, and to go and have dinner. Ishaan laments as to how smarat can think so negative and low level. He goes to urmi, and apologises that he cant change things, but he never wanted bad for her, and he didnt know anything about her situation. He says that he never presumed that anything like this could happen, as he only wnatde to help her, and do some good, but things didnt turn out. she asks him not to blame himself, as he isnt at fault, as if it wasnt him, samreat would have maligned her with anyone else, and that he thought what he could, as anyone linked with her, is his enemy, and hence asks him not to blame himself. Tiwari ji also agrees, and points out how samrat linked her with amrit too, and points out how hollow samrat’s thinking is.
urmi too complies, and says that samrat can go to any length to convert his doubts into belief, and he wouldnt think twice before doing something like this. she is apalled. Tiwari says that doubts cant be cleared and sometimes prove fatal. Tiwari, in his anger and frustration, tells urmi, to go right ahead and tell samrat that he killed his own child, inhis fit of rage.
But ishaan stops her and says that she wont say or do anything like that, and they would wait till samrat brings it up in court, as if he believes that this child isnt his, he would surely bring it up in the court, and point out what a characterless woman urmi is, and how that made her neglect her duties as a mother, and then tilt the court in their favour, at which time, she shall tell everyone that its his child, and then everyone will know how brutally samrat killed his own child. urmi is baffled and tensed at the same time. ishaan says that they shall prove, what a merciless, violent and lik an animal. Tiwari asks how would it be proved that the killed child is Samrat’s. Ishaan says that he would prove it, and it should be left on him.
Location: On the road
Samrat pleads to niranjan, saying that he would give him any money, but he cant refuse to fight the case. Niranjan says that samrat cant put a price tag on him, as he isnt sellable. Samrat asks him not to think bad, and starts gloating his ego, by saying that only he has the calibre to fight ishaan, who’s fighting urmi’s case. niranjan says that he cant make him dance to his tunes, and he wont fight at all. samrat asks him not to do this. Samrat says that he made a mistake. Niranjan tries to point out the severity, and how he destroyed the evidence that would have made them a final and sure winner. Samrat says that he is apologetic. Niranjan points out how urmi’s illegitimate child was their ticket to victory, and how his rash and callous behaviour, costed them dearly. Samrat remembers the hospital records, that have ishaan sinha’s name as a husband. He points it to niranjan, and says that he would get it for hi, as a proof of urmi;s extra marital affair. he asks niranjan to promise that he wont leave the case.
niranjan thinks on it, and says that he has a bet, that till this case isnt closed, he would do everything by his permission and advise, and asks him to control his temper, anyhow. Niranjan again points out how important winning is for him. Samrat promises that there wont be any mistake. Niranjan also points out that he doesnt know urmi’s character but he knows his very well, and asks him to refarin from girls, and adultery till he says so. samrat is tensed, as this is one habit that he cant get rid of. He asks samrat to live the life of a saint, till the time the case isnt done, and asks him not to philander around, as if this gets out, then he, his case and niranjan’s reputation shall be tarnished, and urmi would win easily. samrat smiles and says that he wont do it, till the time they dont win the case, and swears on celebacy. niranjan complies.
Scene 3:
Location: Sushma’s residence
While urmi is resting, shaurya takes extra care, while urmi remembers samrat’s threats, and gets overwhelmed with emotions, caressing him. she prays that there’s the hearing tomrrow, and samrat is fully ready for the hearing and she doesnt have any preparations for the hearing tomorrow, regarding custody. Ishaan comes and finds them both tensed. shaurya asks urmi if she is scared. Urmi is tensed to hear him say this. ishaan comes to them, and then enquires about urmi’s health, giving her a juice. she denies, and he says that its necessary for her to recover, and shaurya too advises her to take it. She complies, and shaurya starts lamenting, that ishaan might also turn out to be a bad cook just like tiwariji. ishaan and shaurya play, while urmilovingly watches. Tiwari watches them enjoying like a happy family, from a distance.
Scene 4:
Location: Samrat’s residence
As radha gets ready after her bath, she is reminded of samrat’s interactions with her, and starts shyly smiling to herself. radha thinks that this didnt happen in village, but when she sees samrat, she starts tickling with excitement, and when she sees him, her heart pounds high and heavy, and even when she runs away, she wants to be with him, despite kanchan getting angry at her for being close to samrat. Samrat finds radha lost in his thoughts. Samrat overhears radha, gloating to herself, as to how samrat isnt the monster that everybody claims he is, and are scared unnecessarily, and that he is very sweet and takes care of everyone, including her too, as he stopped her from working, and gets everyone whatever they want.
He thinks that kanchan has no clues, that her own sister is getting airs, and that the bait is itself walking to the predator. He starts gloating that its rightly said, that when god closes one door, he opens another, and eyes radha lustily.
Location: Jhansi court
ishaan comes to the court, searching for urmi’s lawyer and then gets to know the fraud that urmi’s lawyer pulled on her. He is tensed and shocked. He wonders if urmi knows that her lawyer is a fraud, and that she doesnt have a lawyer tomorrow for her hearing.
Scene 2:
Location: Samrat’s residence
The inspector comes with the jeweller,
Aditi is super tensed when the investigation begins. Samrat asks the jeweller to investigate amongst these family members, and he says that itsnone of them. Aditi is highly tensed. Finally, Aditi shows him amrit’s pic in the mobile, and the jeweller is shocked, and says that this indeed was the man. All are shocked,as to whose pic is aditi showing. Samrat snatches the phone, and is shocked to find that its amrit. the inspector asks who is it. Samrat is tensed to answer. The inspector assures that they shall find him, and asks him to send all the details.
The police leaves. all look at aditi reprimandingly. Samrat asks her how she knows amrit could be behind this. aditi breaks down saying that she gave the jewellery to amrit. She breaks down saying that she made a huge mistake. Shashi asks the reason. Aditi tells what amrit did to her, saying that she didnt know about his betrayal. Samrat is super frustrated as to why she kept contact with amrit, and she breaks down saying that she is pregnant with his child. All are shocked. Shashi says that she went herself for her abortion.
Aditi says that she didnt get an abortion as she didnt want to lose it, and that she thought she would settle again, and hence carried her child. she says that she didnt know he would do this. He slaps her tight, and shefalls on the floor, screaming incoherently. All are tensed. Aditi begs for forgiveness. Samrat asks her to get out of her house, right this minute. Aditi screams for forgiveness, while all are shocked at what she is doing. Samrat takes her by the hand, and is about to throw her out, when aditi begs for desperation. But samrat tells shashi that she would be thrown out too, if she sides with aditi. shashi refrains. Samrat throws her out, while she begs about her condition. samrat says that from this moment on, she is dead for all of them. He slams the door shut on her face, while she keeps beating the door profusely.
Scene 3:
Location: Sushma’s residence
While urmi is working on her case ishaan comes and she is surprised. She asks if he wants anything. He says that she should remember that her first hearing is tomorrow, and her lawyer turned out to be a fraud. He says that at the last minute, no lawyer shall fight her case. she says that she knows. He again speaks that the first hearing is tomorrow, and that she doesnt have a lawyer. she says that she has decided to fight her own case, for the sake of her child. ishaan asks if she is mad, and thinks that this is easy, as it isnt an easy legal procedure.
She says that she knows this can be done. Ishaan says that she would be defeated in a minute, by samrat’s lawyer. she says that she is aware, but she cant risk anything for her child. He says that the court works on assertions and not emotions, but urmi asks him not to scare her, as she knows its going to be difficult, but she would leave no stone unturned, to get her child’s custody. He asks why is she taking it lightly. she says that she isnt as its a matter of life and death. He asks her to let him handle the case, as this is what he does. She cuts him short, saying that she doesnt want anymore insinuations by him fighting for her, and she would handle herself, and asks him not to be bothered. She leaves, while he stands tensed.
Scene 4:
Location: Jhansi Court
Tiwari asks her to think again, at her descision of nopt keeping a lawyer. urmi says that she did keep one, but its not her fault, he turned out to be a fraud. Tiwari ji asks her to forget the past, and get ishaan as a lawyer. urmi says that she knows she is very scared, as she doesnt know how she would manage, and that she has left everything on the lord, as whatever shall happen will be for the good. Tiwari ji gives her water to calm down. urmi drinks water. Niranjan comes with samrat, and Samrat shows him, urmi and niranjan comments that she is a beauty, and keeping the case aside, he would comment, that if he didnt keep her, its his loss, as he wasnt able to identify the true worth of her beauty, and didnt manage to care for her.
Samrat waives off his comment, saying that her beauty is only superficial, as he has ruined her enough long back. They have a hearty laugh. They both come to urmi. Samrat taunts urmi, as to where is Ishaan, her lover, her lawyer. Niranjan too asks about her lawyer. samrat starts taunting that it must be ishaan, as she saved every penny, as her lover is her lawyer. samrat asks her to come ahead with her lawyer, as niranjan wants to meet ishaan. Urmi says that noone is fighting for her, not even ishaan. niranjan tauntingly asks who shall fight then, and she says that she herself shall fight for the case.
Samrat and niranjan are shocked, but then break into a guffaw. samrat says that he is an idiot to get niranjan to fight, and niranjan too is amused. they both taunt urmi, while she asks them to get lost if their rubbish is over. samrat asks niranjan to get sweets, as this is a sure win. Niranjan also tells urmi, that she would be out in the first innings itself. Samrat says that ishaan is strategically not coming, as then the world shall kow of their illicit and illegitimate affair. niranjan starts discussing party venues for the celebration in the evening, for fighting the case. they storm inside, teasing urmi.
As the court hearing begins, the judge asks samrat to identify his lawyer, and Niranjan stands up. He then turns to urmi, and asks her the same, and asks her to identify her lawyer. Samrat and niranjan smile, as urmi stands speechless. ishaant comes in saying, that he is handling her case. urmi is shocked, while samrat and niranjan are tensed. He apologises for the delay and says that he shall fight the case. The screen freezes on ishaan’s, samrat’s and urmi’s face.
ishaan apologises to the judge for the delay and then presents his papers as urmi’s lawyer. Samrat is shocked, and niranjan is tensed. urmi asks ishaan why is he doing this. He says that they can discuss this later, but right now, she should just get along with him.
Samrat thinks that he was being befooled, as the lover wouldnt have been able to restrain himself. all sit down. the judge announces it open for proceedings. Niranjan asks ishaan to take over. ishaan explains the case, as to how she wants to divorce samrat, and he too wants this, and they have separated for three months, and have taken a mature decsision, and hence there’s no room for discussion and debate. he pleads that urmi being given justice.
niranjan supports ishaan’s bstatement, that the divorce is mutual. the judge says that he wants to talk to the couple. both stand, in opposite witness boxes. he asks them both if they are ready, and they comply. The judge asks if urmi is under any kind of pressure. She denies, saying that its free will. They both get down the witness box, as the judge permits them to sit. They both sit down facing each other stoically. He asks the lawyers to proceed.
ishaan pleads for shaurya’s custody. Niranjan says that the child ishaan is talking about, is in fact samrat’s five year old child, shaurya whose custody samrat is demanding. urmi is tensed. He points out that the child on a maximum priority needs development and a good upbringing, and samrat, with his well off means can provide for that, as he is well equipped, emotionally, socially and financially. samrat sits smiling, whil urmi and ishaan are tensed. Niranjan says that the child isnt that young, and can fend for himself, and doesnt need his mother to do that. the judge understands that both the parents want individual custody, and asks them to present the papers.
Nirannjan says that his papers are ready, and presents them. ishaan says that he needs one more day to prepare his papers for urmi’s custody plea for shaurya. samrat breaks down saying that he wont get time, and all are surprised. niranjan nudges him to sit down. ishaan points out that every court has to give the lawyer time, and samrat is attempting contempt of court, and this shouldnt be allowed.
Niranjan is upset, and apologises on his behalf, saying that they should try and understand the feelings behind this aggressions, as he desperately wants shaurya’s custody, so that he can be given, what he is being denies, by urmi’s meagre means, and hence he got upset when ishaan asked for one day. niranjan is tensed, while samrat is shocked, when the court allows ishaan one day. urmi and tiwariji are happy, while samrat fumes. Niranjan complies.
Outside, tiwari and ishaan are happy and relieved that they got one more day. urmi thanks him too. they overhear samrat talking to niranjan. Samrat is frustrated that niranjan couldnt do anything to get one day. He rushes to ishaan, asking if she thought that he was a fool. ishaan taunts and asks if they got scared, and is amused. samrat threatens him, and ishaan responds sarcastically too. niranjan is tensed.
Ishaan says that samrat wont be able to do anything. samrat says that he wont be able to do anything in one day, and the court would give the descision in our favour. urmi asks him to stop giving prophecies, as leave alone the nexy dat, what happens in the next second, he cant predict. He asks her to shut up. ishaan asks the lawyer to put some senses in samrat, as the court listens to logic and not blackmail.
samrat says that he made a mistake, and that he shouldnt have sent goons but came himself to kill him. Niranjan stops him, and says that he shoudlnt say things in anger, and accept what he didnt do. samrat understands whats he trying to say and shuts up. he takes samrat aside, and asks whats the matter, and how can he confess his crimes, in front of the lawyer, and asks him to control his temper and tone. Samrat gets frustrated and he asks him to be calm, as they cant do much in one day, and their victory is assured, if not today then tomorrow. Samrat agrees.
meanwhile, urmi says that this is the reason, she didnt want ishaan to get implicated and run the danger of being hurt. he asks urmi to have faith, and everything would be alright, tiwari ji too convinces urmi otherwise. they all leave.
Location: Annu’s residence
Anu is tensed that ishaan didnt wish her on her birthday, and wonders if he even knows or remembers it. Granny finds her tensed, and asks her to sit down and pray if she is upset. saroj comes asking her what does she want to eat.
Granny asks about her plan, and anu blurts out saying that someone hasnt wished her yet, and when they enquire who, anu says that her friends havent wished her. anu is teased by granny about her age growing and she still being un married. granny again pressurises for marriage, and anu gets happy thinking about ishaan. granny teases annu and saroj asks granny not to, while anu fumes at grnny’s taunts. Anu says that if this is so, then at her next birthday, she would be in her in-laws house. saroj and granny are happy. Anu says that now that ishaan is here, she wants to go back to him.
Scene 3:
Location: Sushma’s residence
Urmi apologises to ishaan for misbehaving with him, and he says that he too would have done the same thing. she again thanks him profusely, while he says that they dont need to be formal with each other now. She says that so much happened, and everyone left her, and still he came for her, and looked out for her, and standing by her, despite her rebukes, feels like a dream. She says that she cant believe that he did what he did just for her, foresaking his friendship. He says that he was not in touch, but she was never out of his mind, and he always felt guilty, and he is doing this just for himself, and not for her. She is tensed.
Scene 4:
Location: Niranjan’s office
Niranjan is busy in his mobile, while samrat wonders whats the strategy behind ishaan’s one day and asks niranjan whats the matter. Niranjan says that he is least bothered whats ishaan upto, as they would know the next day, and asks samrat to be carefree too. Niranjan asks whats the estimate of his total property and cash. samrat asks why and if he is after the property now too. Niranjan says thatnot him, his wife would soon have to do with his property and shall ask for alimony, after this case of divorce is settled.
Niranjan points out that she would need maintenance, and ishaan is her emotional anchor, and being his childhood friend, he knows about his wealth, and hence would want as big an amount, by exploiting him, as a settlement for dirvoce. Samrat asks why would she need his property. Niranjan says that this is the law, and that even after divorce, the husband has a legal obligation to fend for his wife. samrat is shocked, and irritated saying that he wont give even a penny. Niranjan asks him to control his temper and agitation. Niranjan points out the solution. Niranjan says that whatever is in his name, cash, jewellery and property, he should immediately name it to someone else. Samrat is shocked.
Location: Sushma’s and annu’s residence
Urmi tells ishaan that she cant even wish annu, due to recent tensions between her and her family. Ishaan says that annu must be given a treat, and urmi excitedly starts saying what all she used to do with annu’s birthday. ishaan says that he is here now, and he would get everything okay. urmi smiles.
Anu meanwhile, is tensed thinking that, ishaan didnt call her yet. the phone rings. She is unable to believe that its ishaan’s call, and then composing herself, she picks it up, and is happy to see that he remembered. ishaan asks her to meet him right away, and gives her the address saying that he would talk to her there only. she agrees, and she is overjoyed at having got ishaan’s attention.
Scene 2:
Location: Niranjan’s office
Niranjan points out as to how samrat has to name his property to someone else, as urmi as the wife, shall claim and also get 50% or even more, after the divorce as alimony. Samrat starts saying that he wont give urmi one penny. He asks samrat to find out that one person, who he has blind faith on, who he can trust with all of his property. smrat says that all change colours, at the prospect of money. samrat starts getting frustrated that nobody bothers him so much as much as urmi, and says that he hates her. Niranjan is tensed.
Location: Market
Ishaan and anu go to a boutique. she asks if he remembered her birthday, and when she knows that he got to know from urmi, she asks about urmi from him. He tells her the court details, and that he is handling urmi’s case. Anu says that she regrets that when urmi needs them the most, her family is not there with her. Anu says that its greatly comforting that ishaan is by urmi’s side is such tough times. he asks her not to do the urmi type formalities.
She asks why are they here. he asks her to select a dress as her birthday present from him. she is overwhelmed. He gets a call, and goes to attent, citing it as important, while she lovingly eyes him. She sys that he might not say, but she knows from his gestures, that he loves her, and is doing so much for her sister. She is revelling in her own make believe world.
Scene 4:
Location: Samrat’s residence
Farida jalal comes and shashi instantly starts getting to her care and concern, while she asks about urmi. Shashi wards her off as a bad bahu. she starts asking about urmi, and praising her, when shashi says that she left. She points out that the fault is hers, and shashi says that its impossible for her to find a bahu that would bear the tantrums of seven mother-in-laws. Farida says that they shall see.
Later, in the night, samrat starts analysing the family members who to give the property to. When shashi asks whats the matter, samrat tells what his lawyer said, and then asks his father’s opinion. Rudra says that urmi should get the rightful share, but still diwaker should get it.
Samrat doesnt cite it as impossible. diwaker gets angry and asks him to keep diwaker out of this. kanchan asks it to give to urmi only then. samrat shuts her up, saying that he wont give urmi a penny. shashi sides with him. samrat says that there’s noone. Shashi asks him to indirectly point out her name, and he says that he isnt left with any other option but her. He warns her and says that if there’s any fault, then he would forget that she is his mother. She says that she would be very efficient in taking care of it. She already starts day dreaming happily.
Scene 5:
Location: Ishaan’s study and sushma’s residence
ishaan calls up tiwari and tells that he is preparing for the case, and asks them no to wait for him, as he would get late. Urmi asks whats happened and tiwari tells her. urmi says that she too is tensed, for shaurya’s custody. tiwari says that ishaan too is working on that only. shaurya assures her that ishaan is very smart and wont let her be defeated. she smiles, and tiwari ji assures urmi that nothing shall go wrong. she is highly tensed still.
Scene 6
Location: Jhansi court
The legal proceeding begins, and ishaan starts pointing out that motherly love and affection is paramount, and the child also wants to stay with her, and hence he pleads with the court to give shaurya’s custody in urmi’s favour. Niranjan gets up, saying that now he would expose urmi’s true character, behind this speech. He says that urmi has an illegal affair, that gets more of her attention, that care of his legal child. ishaan objects to this, as unverified accusation. niranjan says that he has proof too.
Niranjan says in the court, that now he would enlighten the court, about urmi’s illicit extramarital affair. he goes on and says that the person urmi has an illegal relation with, is none other than her best friend, and right now, her lawyer fighting her case in the court, Mr. Ishaant Sinha. Samrat is amused, while urmi is shocked, and ishaan is tensed. Ishaan says that he is crossing his limits.
Niranjan says that he has an evidence, and asks for the nurse from Jyoti hospital, suman. she comes. Niranjan sks her how does she know urmi. Suman replies that she has been getting treatments for the past 4 months now in the hospital. Niranjan asks why. The nurse says that she was pregnant. niranjan asks that the records must be having the husband’s name too, and she says that its ishaant sinha. ishaan says that she is trying to distract the court with lies.
niranjan asks him to be calm, and wit for his turn for questions. ishaan agrees. samrat is happy. niranjan asks her to explain the entire incident, and she does. Urmi says that this is all nonsense, and lies, but the court asks her to sit down, and wait for her turn to come and stand in the witness box. Niranjan presents the hospital records too, with ishant’s name as the husband. The judge asks ishaan to take his turn at asking questions. Ishaan asks suman, how many times did they meet, if he was so frequent in meeting.
suman hesitates and then replies that she met them a lot of times. urmi breaks down saying that this is a lie, and breaks into tears. The judge asks her to come in the box and say what she has to. urmi says that they never went together, except for one time, and that too, when he was unconscious. Samrat starts pointing out as to how this girl is completely the wrong choice to raise a child.
Samrat starts saying that this characterless woman wont be able to raise the child, as she would bring him up, to be similar to her only, a characterless person. urmi asks him to stop this nonsense. samrat tries to shut up, but she breaks out saying that the child wasnt ishaant’s but his. samrat is shocked and bewildered to hear this. All are shocked and stunned, as urmi says that it was his own blood, who he barbarically killed. Samrat is shocked, along with niranjan. the screen freezes on his face.
