Lies of the heart 30 June 2020: Ishaan tells samrat that just like that, his entire game is over and now there’s nothing that can stop him from being exposed in the court. samrat is super angry and frustrated. he calls up saroj, who is apalled. She tries vehemently to convince him that she is innocent, and didnt meet ishaan or urmi. samrat again warns her, while she keeps protesting that she hasnt even met or talked with oth of them.
He says that they both know the result, of what would happen even if she makes the slightest mistake. he cancels the call. saroj prays to the lord to save them.
later, saroj and granny get breakfast for anu, while she is in a daze. Saroj asks her to eat, while anu is scared and asks if that MMS wont come out, and noone would have seen it, as if it come out, she wont be alive. saroj is shocked, and comes to her, saying that she shouldnt talk like this. Granny asks her not to think, as she isnt wrong, and that person would burn in hell, who tried to do such a heinous sin. Granny asks anu to think about gaurav, as if he gets to know, he would have killed samrat, had he been here, but its good that he has gone to Vaishno devi with asha.
saroj says that they are all standing by each other, and if she breaks down like this, she would be dead alive. Anu says that samrat is unpredictable and is capable of doing anything. saroj says that she very well knows it as to save one girl, he forced her to ruin the life of another daughter, and the Lord shall punish him. she assures anu that she wont let anything happen to her. she hugs her, and they both cry. granny says that today she realises what kind of a man they are advocating, and that he wont even be forgiven, and shall rot in hell, in the worst punishment.
Meanwhile, samrat is busy in his work, when he gets ishaan’s call, teasing him that he misses him. he says that he wanted to tell that just like he got saroj to give evidence for him, one of his family members would give testimony against him, and for urmi. samrat is boggled and hastily asks who that person is, while ishaan enjoys, and urmi, hearing his call, is boggled as to what ishaan is upto. He frantically asks who and what he wants, and asks him not to scare him.
ishaan says that he would know very soon, and asks him to be prepared for his ruins. ishaan thanks samrat for the wonderful idea, and then cancels the call. Samrat is enraged. After cancelling the call, Ishaan and urmi discuss as to how samrat must have definitely called her up by now, and they dont have much time to get things in their favour. urmi tells him that saroj comes to the temple today, and they both leave, to catch her there only, to get the recordings anyhow.
Scene 2:
Location: Samrat’s residence
Kanchan is amused, when shashi starts getting impatient for the registration of the property. Shashi gets frustrated and says that she is finally getting what she deserves. Radha thinks that she wont let anything happen to samrat like his last wife, and fill his life with happiness. she asks for making sweets, and shashi is tensed and confused. radha thinks that now she would get the entire family live in happiness and peace, come what may.
Samrat comes and stealthily tries to spy on people in the house. he finds shashi talking on the phone, and assumes that its ishaan on the other end, and is frustrated when it isnt. Samrat storms out in anger. Kanchan laments as to how samrat has gone mad. Samrat’s family is shocked, to find CCTV cameras installed in the house, on samrat’s instructions. samrat tells that he wants to keep an eye on all the people, and asks them to place a camera everywhere, except his room. Shashi relises how dangerous this is, and samrat teases her, that if she tries anything wrong, she would be caught, and asks her to be cautious. He says that now noone can betray him.
kanchan protests that she has her private life, and samrat accuses her of being scared that she might be caught. Kanchan asks him not to get cautious, and get ideas, and that she would install one in herr oom, on one condition. samrat quizzically asks what. kanchan says that samrat would have a camera in his room also. Samrat asks why would his room have a camera. kanchan says that all would have an equal share. Samrat frustratedly agrees to shut her up. Shashi and rudra are tensed.
Scene 3:
Location: Outside the temple
Urmi and ishaan anxiously wait for saroj to come, and get excited when she arrives in the auto. Saroj gets down from the auto, outside the temple. Ishaan tells to urmi, in their hiding, that saroj kept her phone in the purse, and now she has to distract her, while he manages to retrieve the info, from her cell phone. urmi is tensed, and is in a moral dilemma to betray her mother like that, and agrees when ishaan asks her to just distract her for two minutes and get her phone.
Just then, someone snatches saroj’s phone, and she raises a hue and cry. ishaan rushes after that person. Saroj is tensed. Ishaan finally catches up with that person, and the thief runs away, and ishaan gets the chance to look at her phone, and gets to transferring the calls, and gets excited to see that samrat has been in continuous touch with her. he transfers the call, and says that once he hears the recording, the game is over. While saroj is tensed, the crowd assures her that ishaan was swift and would definitely catch the guy. saroj wonders whats ishaan doing here, and if she is being followed.
ishaan gives her the purse. Saroj pleads ishaan that he should maintain his distance, and that she doesnt have any relation with him or urmi, and asks him to stay away from her. she refuses to identify him, and the people start talking callously about the lady, when saroj walks in a huff. ishaan is tensed. After the crowd disperses, urmi comes to ishaan and asks what was saroj saying. He tells her. urmi wonders what all saroj is bearing, that she has to behave like this. He tells urmi that regardless, they got what they needed, and soon they shall know the truth. Urmi complies.
ishaan thanks sushma that she is here as only she can be able to get urmi distracted and if possible unaware of this trauma. She laments as to what kind of an animal is samrat, and to what levels he can droop.
Urmi comes and asks ishaan, what did they find out, about samrat’s bkackmail. ishaan and sushma distract her and try to leave. urmi asks then sternly asking why arent they telling her, as she needs to know. they again pretend that they are very hungry, and that ishaan shall handle everything, and she neednt bother herself over it. urmi gets angry and demands to know the reason. she snatches the phone, and listens to the recording, and is shocked to know of annu’s MMS in samrat’s rant in the recording.
Urmi is in a daze, stunned and unable to react. ishaan and sushma are apalled for her. She breaks down into inconsolabe tears, and breaks away the phone. she gets disgusted, as to how samrat sued her younger sister, to get back at her. she says that she wont leave him, while ishaan and sushma to try and calm her down. urmi is beyond consolation and composure, while she goes berserk, adding that she woul kill him, and doesnt care if she gets hanged due to it. ishaan tries to talk reason, but she is beyond logic and rationality.
Ishaan shouts and tries to make her understand, that if she takes one wrong step, all of their efforts shall be ruined, as she would give samrat an advantage by reacting right now. ishaan says that this disgusting habit shall cost him dearly in the court. she breaks down apalled at annu’s plight, and hugs sushma, who tried hard to console her. ishaan is tensed and emotional too. urmi starts blaming herself, for all the sufferings of her family, as samrat ruined everything today, as she doesnt have a reason to live now. ishaan rhinks that he would see to it that samrat gets punished, after what he did with anu.
Jhansi court
The court proceedings begin, and ishaan asks for permission to get saroj in the witness box. saroj complies, after samrat nods her to. urmi is tensed. The clerk asks her to take the oath of truth. ishaan asks saroj about urmi’s character once again. niranjan ovbjects that this is a repetition and a wastage of time. Ishaan asks him to let him complete, and hence he needs to verify this. The judge overrules this. Niranjan sits down. ishaan asks the same question again. Niranjan and samrat are satisfied. saroj starts praising urmi galore, as to how she performs every relation very nicely. sarat and niranjan are shocked. i
Ishaan asks how the change of statement now, and reminds her of what she said last time. saroj says that all of that was a lie. niranjan says that the witness is changing her statement. ishaan asks niranjan to be patient, and not interrupt the witness’ testimony. the judge overrules yet again. ishaan asks why this change of statement. saroj tells that she was blackmailed and forced to change the statement, and starts narrating the atrocities and cruelties of samrat and how urmi tried to keep the relation alive. In the court, Ishaan asks saroj to tell clearly, as to what was samrat’s blackmail, that got her to testify wrongly, against his client, and tell it to the court, without any pressure.
After having gotten the revelation of what samrat did, a disgusted urmi eyes samrat angrily, while he is flustered, scared that saroj might just give everything away. saroj tells about samrat’s MMS blackmail. samrat gets angered and says that this is all a lie. Saroj tells about how samrat implanted a camera in the bathroom, when he went to see devi. samrat gets furious with rage. niranjan makes him sit down, and points out, how she turned back on her own statement. Saroj says how she had to sacrifice her second daughter due to the first one.
Niranjan asks whats the evidence, as the court cant believe every changing testimony, and asks saroj to present proof to support her accusations against his client. Ishaan says that he does have proof. samrat and niranjan are shocked. Saroj and urmi are angered. he makes the court hear of the recorded phone conversations, after the judge’s permission.
Niranjan starts palpitating. saroj is in tears, while samrat is stunned, and niranjan stands defeated. Samrat eyes urmi angrily. niranjan comes and starts clapping, that he has seen lawyers resorting to such means, in films, but he didnt expect this from him, as this voice isnt samrat’s. saroj says that this is samrat’s voice. Niranjan says that they hired a voice artist, who masqueraded as samrat, and they recorded his voice, and try and accuse samrat of something that he didnt commit. he says that audio clips arent evidence in the court.
ishaan says that lets assume this audio is a fake, but what of the MMS in samrat’s mobile. niranjan is shocked and at a loss for an answer. Ishaan says that this is an open and shut case. Ishaan asks the court to check that MMS in Samrat’s phone, and then punish him for this heinous crime, and also allow urmi to have shaurya’s custody. samrat stands dazed, as the colour drains off his face. niranjan is speechless too. the judge grants the permission.
samrat sinks in his chair. ishaan places a humble request that the court shouldnt release the video as public evidence, as its the question of a women’s preservation of dignity and self respect. urmi and saroj are mortified with embarassment. granny is distraught too. The judge asks samrat to place his phone before them. Niranjan blabbers, while samrat is too shocked to react.
Urmi is in tears. samrat stammeringly says that he doesnt have anything in his mobile, and the judge reprimands him to hand over the phone. Samrat is shocked and stunned. He is scared, as he gives the phone and the judge receives it. The judge checks the video files and eyes samrat sternly. samrat sits flustered. ishaan and urmi wait with bated breaths. the judge tells ishaan that there’s no such video in this phone, except for a few jokes and some songs. Ishaan, urmi and saroj are shocked. niranjan and samrat and surprised and relieved too. Urmi angrily eyes samrat’s surprised face too.
Location: Jhansi Court
All are shocked at this new turn of events. urmi and ishaan, along with saroj are baffled and shattered. saroj asks how can this be, while niranjan shuts her, saying that she should have shame, as she went back on her statement, and produced the wrong statement too. ishaan says that he cant believe that samrat didnt have that MMS and definitely must have kept a copy in some other device. He says that he is sure if they search for it, they would find it.
Urmi starts shouting, but niranjan asks her to shut down, pointing out that ishaan is pointing out wrong facts, and is hence accusing samrat with baseless allegations. ishaan again givbes the voice recording as an evidence, saying that its clear that samrat did make an MMS. Niranjan says that he should produce solid evidence and not talk in the air, and if he tries to mmalign samrat again, then he shall file a defamation case against ishaan.
the judge asks ishaan to procue some solid evidence. ishaan apologises and again asks the judge to take the appropriate measure, as a lady’s dignity is involved. The judge orders for a detailed investigation, as this case is getting complicated. Ishaan thanks him, while the court is adjourned. urmi is boiling with rage.
In the parking lot, Samrat gets to know that niranjan deleted the video from his mobile phone. samrat applauds him profusely, for his presence of mind and his geniusness. niranjan says that he has to be smart to cover for his foolishness. Niranjan says that cybercell personnels will be after him now, to grill and investigate him.
He asks samrat to delete the video in the laptop rightaway, and also destroy the laptop, so that nothing remains in it. samrat is surprised. niranjan tells him that he should get rid of all the objectionable data. samrat agrees to everything, but is confused at deleting the laptop. niranjan says that there can be a recovery too, of the data. Samrat is frustrated that he would have to break his laptop, and says that he is facing huge losses due to his ex-wife.
Scene 2:
Location: Annu’s residence
urmi is apalled to see annu, hiding in a corner, in the room, as she enters with saroj. she calls to annu, who rushes to her, crying distraughtedly. urmi asks her not to cry, while saroj watches in despair. Anu starts talking berserkedly, asking what would happen now, and says that she would do anything, but to get the video back. urmi tells what happened in the court, and assures her that she wont let anything wrong happen to her.
Anu talks suicidal, while urmi asks her to listen from saroj, saying that ishaan handled everything, and samrat wouldnt be able to ruin her at all. Anu keeps crying, while urmi tells her that she wont wont let anything happen to her. urmi thanks saroj, as if she hadnt favoured her, she wouldnt have been able to do what they did. saroj says that she was in a moral dilemma, and apologises for what she said the earlier day, and how she was distraught when she had to say such things about urmi, in the court.
urmi says that she should have talked once to her atleast and trusted her. saroj says that it isnt like that, but seeing annu’s condition, she had gotten very scared. she begs for an apology, while urmi asks her not to, as she isnt at fault, and that she is just hurt. saroj says that she penanced for what she did, at the temple, and that granny wasnt able to face her too, and hence she got to know today, what samrat is, and asks her to forgive granny.
Urmi begs to them, to trust her, as she wont let her family be in any problem, as she isnt weak anymore, as that demon has hardened her by his atrocities, and she isnt scared of anyone now, fights for herself, and hence they dont need to worry. saroj says that they all are with her. urmi cries overwhelmingly, and then caresses annu’s face. she thinks that she wont spare samrat.
Scene 3:
Location: Samrat’s residence
With much frustration, samrat breaks the laptop and the cd’s, spewing venom against ishaan and urmi. he hollers for murti, who is shocked to see him, and samrat orders him to take all the scraps and burn them, so that no evidence remains. samrat is tensed.
Downstairs, Rudra and shashi say that they would come in sometime. kanchan and radha finish the household chores. Just then, Urmi comes with annu, determinedly. All are shocked to see her. kanchan asks radha to go away. urmi shouts out samrat’s name. radha passes by, eyeing her tensedly. urmi hollers at samrat to come out. shashi asks whats this nonsense, and urmi lashes at her, stunning her in silence. samrat comes out, asking whats this drama.
She asks him to come out, unfazed or scared by his presence, and addresses him with anger. She asks him to tell everything, what a heinous crime he committed today. He teases her if she has come her to unravel and expose him. samrat leeringly asks urmi if there’s anything left still to be unravelled, eyeing anu. He asks her to stay in her limits. He gloats about the video that he made, and all are shocked. He says that he did this to control her. H
he says that the film is really nice, tagged as Anushka MMS, and taunts them. Anu, unable to take it any longer, slaps him tight, as both the sisters eye him fiercely. Samrat is taken aback. Anu says that he never thought that he could stoop down this loe, and asks how come he didnt have any shame, before doing this, and reprimands him with disgust. samrat tells urmi, that he saw annu, just the way he saw her, his wife, as after all, the sister-in-law is for this purpose only, and he being the brother-in-law is half groom. He taunts her that he did the rightful thing by making and then viewing it too. sanu is distraught, while urmi is furious. she slaps him hard and tight across his face. samrat is stunned.
Location: Samrat’s residence
Samrat asks how dare urmi and her sister have the guts to hit him, and she silences him saying, that not only would they hit him, but also make him a joke in the society as then he would realise what being vulnerable and gullible means. She tells him that the list is so long, that one of his sins shall surafe before her, which she would use to annihilate him in the court. urmi tells him to save his life now, as she would also see how long he can save himself. She storms out with urmi, while samrat is angered and frustrated.
Location: On the road
Radha is in the market, when she starts to eye the Mangalsutras and thinks that now that she is married, she would need one. She starts bargaining but gets jumbled up in the cost, as the shopkeeper tells the cost of the money in english. Ishaan, in the same market, overhears radha’s confusion, and then clarifies it. Ishaan wishes her a very happy married life. Outside, shashi too is talking to the neighbourhood ladies, advertising for Zee Rishtey Awards.
Location: Niranjan’s office
Niranjan is amused listening to samrat’s plight while he asks him to use it in the court. Samrat asks niranjan to use it as domestic violence, and adds that he has evidence too in the form of CCTV footage. he tells niranjan that there’s everything in the CCTV footage. Instead of being happy, niranjan gets upset, at samrat, and Niranjan tells samrat that the girls walked in there, as a well said plan, trying to manipulate him, so that he can confess his crimes, and they can have a record of it. samrat is tensed, as niranjan says that its very easy for samrat to get instigated. He says that they were actually trying to get him to brag, instead of having a heated verbal arguement. He asks if he didnt say anything about the MMS on the CCTV cameras. samrat is shocked and boggled, unable to answer. He gets frustrated when he has to listen to Niranjan’s reprimands.
Location: Annu’s residence
Annu is beyond reprieve, despite urmi and saroj’s attempts to cheer her up. Ishhaan arrives, and anu immediately rushes inside, and locks the door of the room. She doesnt open the door, despite ishaan and urmi telling her to do so. ishaan emotionally manipulates her, saying that she can meet her sister but not her best friend. this works and anu opens the door, and hugs ishaan, while he too consoles hr, apalled and distraught himself. Urmi thinks that due to samrat, her annu is like this. She is determined tht she wont ever forgive him for this one.
