The Episode starts with Parashar asking Nutan if she has thought of a name for her baby. With a soft smile, Nutan says she wants to name her daughter Jhanak. Parashar reminds her that her own name is Jhanak. Nutan replies that was her name — she has left it behind. Now, she wants her daughter to carry it forward. She explains that “Jhanak” is connected to dance, something graceful and full of life, and she hopes everything goes well. Parashar, ever the concerned companion, offers her some fruit and brings up Anirudh, saying he thinks Anirudh still deeply loves her. Nutan shuts down the topic immediately. Parashar mentions he’s headed to the city to join politics and asks Nutan to stay back and care for the baby.
Just then, Nutan sees a call from Anirudh. She hesitates, but Parashar encourages her to answer. She puts the phone on speaker. Anirudh, with a heavy voice, shares devastating news — Appu is no more. Nutan is shattered. She asks how it happened. Anirudh reveals that Anjana asked him to share the news. He informs them that his company will be building a school in the village and wants it named after Appu. Then, he abruptly ends the call. Nutan breaks down, weeping that she never got to see Appu one last time. Parashar quietly leaves, saying she needs to be alone.
Meanwhile, Ishani visits her college principal. The principal sympathizes but delivers a blow — Ishani must stop attending college and study from home due to pressure from other students’ parents. Ishani pleads that she’s done nothing wrong and questions how she’s supposed to prepare for exams from home. The principal admits the decision is final and out of her hands. Ishani protests — society has judged her based on newspaper gossip, not truth — but is silenced. She’s told students and teachers will protest if she returns. Dejected, she walks out.
Elsewhere, grief envelops Anirudh’s house. Anjana reminisces about Appu, while Lalon is drowned in guilt and sorrow. Choton urges Appu to sing one last song, clinging to memories. Anuradha tearfully calls Appu the Lakshmi of the house. Anjana says despite all the love Appu got, fate took her happiness away too soon.
In another scene, Abhijeet asks about Ishani’s condition. Adrika says she can’t go to college anymore. Ambika adds fuel to the fire — media is camping outside, and Ishani has become a burden. Ishani walks in, sobbing. Abhijeet says he’ll speak to the principal, but Ambika coldly says there’s no use. She asks, who will marry Ishani now? She suggests they marry her off quickly and move on. Abhijeet is stunned and questions how a mother can speak like this. Ambika retorts that she has two other children to think about, and Ishani is now a liability.
Meanwhile, in the mourning room, Bablu pleads with Appu to wake up. Anirudh says Appu will always live in their hearts. Laal, overwhelmed with guilt, calls himself a failed brother. Mimi arrives and tells everyone to feel Appu’s presence. Anjana asks how Appu could leave them. Lalon prepares for the final rites, eyes full of tears.
