I’m on the edge 13 October 2022: Devika locks herself and Varun in godown and lighting havan kund insists him to marry her. He says he will never. She throws key in havan. Varun angrily fumes and walks towards door. She says she will marry him today at any cost and takes out keys from her clothes and says he is so easy to be fooled, she had hidden keys and was acting. She continues when he will realize she is true, he himself will marry her. Varun angrily holds her and tries to snatch keys. She puts keys under her clothes again and asks if he can remove it.Heera tells her aides Kesar and Basanti that if Kesar’s doubt is right, Devi is helping Devika. Kesar and Basanti’s fight start alleging each other. Heera shuts her ears and shouts to stop. Thier drama continues.
They hear someone in locked trunk and get tensed.Varun lifts Devika and reverses her. Keys fall down. He leaves her and picks keys. She says she was joking, he is like a brainless bull who believes everything, she had thrown keys already in havan. He throws those keys.Heera with her aides opens trunk and is shocked to see Dhani popping out gasping for air. They all 3 ask what happened to her, how did she get into trunk. Devika says she does not know, something fell on her forehead and she fell unconscious. They realize that Varun is missing now, and Devika played a big game.Varun drapes cloth on his hand and puts it in havan and pulls out key. He then throws water on key.
Devika sees her his burnt hand, tears her veil and ties it over his hand. He pushes her and tries to open door, but door does not open. Devika says she did not do anything, even god wants them to be together. Varun gives up and sits. Devika mixes mehandi or some herb and applies it on Varun’s hand. Kyun Aata hai seene me…song…plays in the background..Heera with her aides calls inspector and files complaint that servant Devika kidnapped Varun. Inspector asks why. Heera says Varun is marrying her granddaughter Dhani, but Devika wants to marry Varun.
Inspector says he has heard these 3 names and says maybe servant is more beautiful than Dhani, so Varun himself ran away with servant, it is clear case of family opposing marriage, they need not worry, Varun will return after marrying Devika. Heera insists to file complaint. Inspector warns he may arrest her for filing false complaint and leaves. Kesar yells at Basanti that she did not teach sanskar to her son. Basanti reverts back and says she did not give good sanskars to her daughter Dhani. Their argument continues. Maheshwari walks in. They get tensed. Maheshwari aasks if she should not have come here.
Devika sees Varun keeping boxes table and asks what is he doing. He says he will go out via window. Devika asks him to remember she was getting married to Alek named guy, they were stuck in godown similarly and he wanted to stop marriage, power went off and he tightly hugged her. She pushed him away and tried to get out of window via table but could not reach, he called her. Varun says batli/midget. Devika says he said same. She continues how she wanted to marry Alek in adamancy and he is doing same, she had called him flop star that day. Varun shouts stop manhoos/inauspicious, go away from him. Devika gets happy that Varun is remembering his past.
Maheswhari walks into Ratjavat haveli. Heera and her puppets ask why did she come. Maheshari says her film’s hero didn’t reach sets, so she had to come here. Kesar says Devika kidnapped Varun. Maheshari laughs that she means a servant kidnapped Varun, looks like this house belongs to servant. Heera shouts this haveli belongs to her. Maheshari taunts she this house belongs to Varun. Heera says Varun is her would be son-in-law. Maheshari warns if Varun does not come, she will incur losses worth crores, then she will throw defamation case on them. She prays god to help Devika in getting back her piya and leaves from there.
Varun gets severe headache and collapses. Devika gets worried and applies sandalwood paste on his forehead and massages it. Varun wakes up and angrily asks what is she doing. She says he got severe headache and collapsed, so she applied sandalwood paste on his forehead. He shouts to stop acting as taking care of him, she is just jealous of Dhani, so she is adamant to marry him for money. She says she wants him and nothing else matters to her, she can even die for him. She walks near havan and tries to jump in. Varun stops her and asks she wanted to show something. She says about doctor whom she was marrying and he was coming from US to explain about her and Varun’s marriage and their love for each other, but plane crashed and all passengers died.
Heera with her team shouts where Devika must have taken Varun. Dhani says if he does not return, Maheshari will slap defamation case on them and they will lose everything, she is not habituated to sleep without AC. Heera shouts to shut up. Basanti says now she realized her son is just a means for them. Heera shouts she does not have a stature to confront her. Basanti shouts how dare she is to comment about her height and tries to hit her, but Heera pushes her away. Basanti tries again, but Heera pushes her. Someone enters and asks where is Devika, she had ordered to deliver wedding items to godown and gave torn 2000 rs note. Heera asks where is that godown. Man asks to give him another note and once he gets says he can take them there. They all get into car with him and he shows them way.
Varun says he does not know whether to trust her or his mother as she cannot lie. Devika hopes she could tell him that his mother is not real, says she will marry him at any cost. She gives him injection and he forgets everything. She comes out wearing bridal dress. He emotionally hugs hher and says she was waiting for this day. Pandit comes and asks when she wants to marry. She says right now. Their wedding rituals start. Man drops Heera and her puppets near godown. Devika and Varun pick garlands to exchange….Wedding rituals continue..
Heera with her team reaches godown and with man’s help break open door. Devika and Varun’s pheras is about to finish when Heera shouts to stop and asks Pandit if marriage is complete. Dhai says this cannot be. Basanti says marriage is complete. Kesar says it is for sure. Pandit runs away. Heera shouts if marriage is complete or not. Devika says it is not. Varun asks why did she stop, let us complete pheras. Heera asks why did she stop. Devika says she is not trickster like Heera, she will marry Varun when he is in his senses, she gave hypnotic injection to Varun, so he agreed to marry her. Dhani hugs Varun and says even now he can marry her. Varun pushes her. Devika unties her and Varun’s bond.
Police walks in. Basanti asks to arrest Devika as she is marrying her son forcefully making him inebriated. Devika says she stopped this marriage. Inspector says she saw them breaking door open, arrests her and throws her in jail and ask why is she crying after doing heinous act. Devika says she is crying as she is arrested even after not marrying Varun and don’t know if Varun got sober or not. Inspector asks if she is mad. Devika says yes, she is mad, her husband is being brainwashed against her after he lost memory, so she is staying there as servant to get back her piya. Inspector salutes her and asks if there is no other way to get back her husband. Devika says Dr. Daksh would have helped her, but his plane crashed.
Inspector asks which plane. She says US plane, which crashed yesterday. Inspector says that plane was intact and got off radar for sometime. Devika says now Dr. Daksh will clear Varun’s misunderstanding. Inspector asks if she has someone to bail her out. Devika says Maheshwari Devi. Inspector asks to give her number.Varun gets up from sleep dreaming about marrying Devika. He thinks what is truth and what is lie. Dhani walks in with milk and says good he got rid off servant Devika. Varun asks to tell truth if they tried to kill Devika and she married Doctor to save his life and doctor transferred all this property in my name.
Dhani lies that Devika is lying. Varun says now he is clear. Dhani says she has arranged party with her friends for him and thinks she can go to any extent to marry him and can snatch him from her sister.Party starts. Dhani’s friends dance and then play a game where if they add ball in a glass, they will drink a peg. Varun does not react. Dhani says let us interesting game now and asks her friend to get dart board. She then fixes Devika’s photo on dark and asks her friends to taarget Devika’s photo. Friends do same. Varun watches angrily. Dhani asks him to vent out his anger, else he won’t be able to move away, Devika deserves this. Friends cheer him. Varun picks dart to throw when Dr. Daksh comes and holds his hand.
Varun asks who is he. Doctor says he is Dr. Daksh. Varun reminisces Devika telling about Dr. Daksh. Devika hopes Dr. Daksh will reveal her truth to Varun and prays god to let them meet. Dr. Daksh reveals Varun that he came to treat him from US, during that time Devika came and insisted to marry him. Varun asks why. Dr. Daksh says Varun’s mental condition was like a 10-year-old kid, so Devika did not want to marry Varun, Daksh returned back as he did not want to marry greedy girl.
Dhani asks Heera how did Daksh backed off. Heera says she has solution for every problem, wait and watch. Devika walks in and hears Daksh telling Dhani is perfect match for Varun and not Devika who is greedy. Devika shouts at Daksh and raises hand to slap him, but Daksh holds her hand. Devika asks why is he doing this. He says to save someone’s life and says her truth will not change. Varun says he will marry Dhani right now and holds her hand. Devika stands crying.
