I’m on the edge 10 October 2022: Devika warns her that he knows Varun is not her son, should she inform Varun. Basanti stops. Devika walks back in. Heera then drags her out and locks door.
Devika walks to store room and sees Devi’s photo in dust. She thinks Heera has left Devi in such a dilapadated state, now she will use Devi to get back her husband. In living room, Heera boasts Dhani how was her plan. Devi comes and sits on chair. Heera yells servants are not allow to sit on chair, get down. Devika disguised as ghost Devi shouts this is her house Maasa, she is Devi, why should she get out of her chair. She creates special effect with lights flickering. Dhani and everyone get afraid and they all run away. Devi smirks and thinks her trick worked
Devika acts as Devi’s ghost and shouts she will not go from here. Heera and her team run away. Devika smirks and thinks her plan is working. Heera and her puppet discuss if it was really Devi. Kesar and Dhani say if was Devi’s ghost for sure. Basanti says it was Devika as Devika has mole on her face. Heera says that means Devi’s ghost entered Devi’s body, but she saw Devi’s daughter being thrown from cliff. Kesar asks if she saw dead body. Heera says no. Basanti says that means Devika is Devi’s daughter, and Devi came into her soul. Devika walks in and shouts they are thinking same. They worriedly lock door. Devika walks into Varun’s room next and seeing him still asleep thinks she should have checked juice and given to him, once his memory is back and he identifies her, she does not have to act at all.
Heera and her puppets discuss how will they get rid of Devi now. They hear Devika shouts like ghost. Heera says she has to call tantrik who is very powerful and only she can relieve them from Devi’s ghost.Next morning, Maheswari enters disguised as tantrik holding snake flute. Heera with her puppets greet her and request to ward them off from Devi’s ghost. Tantrik starts playing snake flute. Dhani asks who is tantrik playing flute. Heera says this must be modern way of warding off ghost. Devika as Devi walks in acting and shouting. They all get afraid and hide. Devika dances on flute sound and sits in front of tantrik. Tantrik says this is not a normal ghost, she is very powerful and only can be controlled if they walk on 1000 temple steps and feed brahmins.
Heera agrees. Tantrik asks them to go right now then. They ran away. Devika smiles at Maheshwari and thanks for her help calling her sasuma. Maheshwari says she has to help her bahu in getting back her piya/husband.Varun wakes up and sees his room decorated with flowers and candles. Devika walks in wearing Varun’s favorite sari and reminisces Varun and her romance. She asks him to remember this sari and their romance. She seductively touches him. Mai phir bhi tumko chahungi…song…plays in the background.. Varun also reciprocates. She takes him to bed and closes eyes to kiss when Varun gets conscious and shouts what is she doing, don’t dare to come near him, she is a servant and dare not cross her limits, he is marrying Dhani in 7 days.
He walks out angrily leaving her weeping.Heera with Dhani walks into Devika’s room. Dhani asks why did they come here instead of temple. Heera searches and finds Devika’s hair in a comb and says she will now find out if Devika is Devi’s daughter or not. Dhani asks if she will get DNA test. Heera says yes. On the other side, Devika sadly tells Maheshwari that she could not remind Varun about their past. Maheshwari consoles her and says so what if she fails once, she will get many more chances to get back her piya/Varun. Dhani sees them together. Maheshwari says she will leave now before anyone see them. Devika says she is lucky to have such a good MIL and found a mother in her. Maheshwari asks not to do ghost drama again and leaves.
Devika walks down to living room and sees Varun standing with Dhani. He yells at Devika that she is trying to ruin him, why did she meet Maheshwari and what did she say her. Dhani asks to fire Devika. Devika asks Varun if he is afraid that he will fall back in her love. Varun says he will not fire her and will let her attend his wedding. Devika challenges she will decorate house for his wedding and even decorate mantap. Varun accepts challenge, removes engagement ring from Devika, and fixes it in Dhani’s finger. Dhani gets very happy. Varun then hugs Dhani. Devika leaves sadly.
Devika walks to home temple and prays Devimaa to get back her piya to her, she will do anything for that. Dhani tells Varun that she is worried Devika will create problem in their wedding. Varun asks to trust her. She says she trusts him, but thinks she does not trust Devika. She then goes and informs Heera, Kesar, and Basanti about Devika’s challenge to Varun and Maheshwari helping Devika. Heera says that means ghosts drama was fake and asks when will DNA report come. Kesar says inn a day. Heera says she will give so much work to Devika that she will be tired and does not have energy to conspire.
Heera walks to Devika and says her ghost drama failed, she is so stubborn to come back even after being thrown out of house, she will see now how will she spoil her granddaughter’s wedding. She asks Devika to clean whole haveli whole night by 8 a.m. tomorrow morning beore Varun and Dhani’s goad bharai ritual. Devika says cleaning house and throwing out garbage is her duty as she is owner of this house, challenges ritual will start with Dhani but will end with her. Heera says let us see. Devika says wait and watch.
Varun and Dhani’s goad bharai prewedding ritual starts. Kesar praises Heera that house is glowing today. Heera says Devika cleaned house till 8 a.m. and would be damn tired now, so she won’t be having energy even to stand. Varuun comes waaring ethnic dressl. Devika walks to him and asks how is it looking. He says very beautiful. She says she is talking about house, she cleaned it. He tries to walk aside. She stops him and bends. He angrily asks what is she doing. She kneels down and saays she is tying nazar thread to him. Heera reminisces Devika challenging ritual will start with Dhani but will end with him. Dhani feels weak and goes and sits in balcony on a chair. Heera gets happy.
Ritual starts. Dhani happily sits on chair. Basanti starts ritual and does her rasam. Varun sees Devika sitting drowsily on chair in balcony and thinks why she is sitting there. He is about to put shagun coconut in Dhani’s pallu when he sees Devika falling from balcony, runs and holds her. Shagun coconut falls in her laps. Varun scolds Devika if she cannot be careful. She says she is fine and says he ended shagun with her putting coconut in her lap. He lifts her and takes her to her room. Tenu ikpal chain na aawe…song..plays in the background. He makes her sleep on bed and says she did this trick purposefully. He holds him when he leans. Heera with her puppets walk in. Kesar asks what is he doing with servant. Dhani shouts they should kick servant out, she is trying to snatch Varun from her.
Devika says she is coming in between them and the more she tries to harm her, the more Varun will protect her. Varun angrily leaves. Heera warns Devika that Varun will marry Dhani and she should not dare try to trick again.Basanti walks to Maheshwari and shouts she knows she is helping Devika, she should stop, else.. Maheshwari asks what she will do, she is such a cheap woman who stole her son. Basanti shouts to stop lying, her parents are not here, if she will tell truth, what will happen to her choti memsab/Maheshwari. Maheshwari stands tensed.
