Destined by fate 5 November 2023: Indu notices Bhanu tensed and asks if she is worried thinking how both sisters will stay together after marriage. Bhanu nods yes. Indu blames her weak upbringing. Bhanu says Indu gave good upbringing, its Rashmi’s fault that she changed so much. They both share concern for Rashmi’s hatred towards Sayri and hopes Rashmi changes soon. Rashmi overhears their conversation and thinks she will destroy Sayuri’s image.
Chaudhrys ask Yash why he didn’t inform his mother and grandmother about Kusum’s past. Yash says his mother and grandmother immensely love him but have very traditional thinking, he wants them to meet Kusum personally and accept her after knowing her well. Kusum says he should inform his family soon.
Kanha announces sangeet ceremony. He and sayuri host the event and invite would brides and grooms to come and show their dance skills. Yash and Kusum dance first followed by Nakul and Rashmi on 2 songs. Kanha and Sayuri dance next garnering everyone’s praise and attention. Rashmi gets jealous and switches off lights. Everyone feel disappointed. Yash and Nakul project torch on Kanha and Sayuri. Song plays again. Kanha asks who played a different song than they selected. Saroj says its for her samdhans.
Yash’s mother and grandmother enter and dance on stage, garnering everyone’s attention. Rashmi gets jealous seeing everone’s attention towards Yash’s family and not her. She gets an evil idea to cancel Yash and Kusum’s marriage. She drops juice on Yash’s grandmother’s sari in lieu of serving it to her and takes her to washroom to clean her sari. She reveals her that Kusum is a widow and her husband was murdered by Kanha. Daadi is shocked and orders to cancel the wedding. Rashmi grins.
