Broken Bonds 26 February 2023: Biji congratulates Shubra on her victory. She says that this is the difference between marriage and affair. Sam knows nothing about Kuldeep but still wants him in his life unlike you who have been with him through thick and thin. Sam stops Shubra and says that you have lived with Kuldeep for a long and hence it’s no big deal that you know more about him than me. She challenges her to see who Kuldeep likes more now. Sam says that Kuldeep likes dance and I challenge you for a dance competition. Shubra accepts the challenge.
Both of them dance to compete on Nagarein Sang Dhol Baje. During the dance, Sam notices Kuldeep only watching Shubra while she dances. Sam does a trick and makes Shubra lose her balance. Shubra is about to fall when Kuldeep holds her close to him. Dadi whistles and the kids cheer for their mumma. Kuldeep declares the winner and says Shubra lost it by an inch and adds that she dances as gracefully as she used to 10 years back.
The kids bring ice creams of different flavors for Shubra to celebrate her performance. They remind her of the time they used to celebrate their achievements with an ice cream party. They appreciate the efforts and performance of Shubra. Biji is looking at the family picture while she is enjoying her liquor. She asks his husband to come out of the picture and talk to her. He does come out and talks to her. She shares her pain with him while he patiently hears. She confirms if he is for real. She wishes if he was alive and if he could have seen his grandchildren and daughter-in-law. She regrets opposing Kuldeep and Shubra’s marriage.
Chaddha ji consoles her and says that things are improving and her efforts are showing results so she should keep up her efforts. He tells her that only she can do it. Biji promises to complete the task Chadda ji has assigned her. Sam has organized a date to celebrate her success. She asks Kuldeep to cut the cake. Kuldeep stops to take a pic and sees the picture sent by Biji. Sam says that she understands that he loves his kids. But Shubra is different she says. She adds that she is trying to manipulate his kids by teaching them she is for them but you are only for namesake.
She shows the pictures to him to prove her point and says that she is trying to replace him and will not share her kids with him in the future. Kuldeep says Shubra will never part his kids from him but yes I will have to show my kids that I love him, he says. Kuldeep says that from tomorrow onwards he will take care of the kids. Sam is pleased to know that her duty is reduced. The next morning Kuldeep goes to wake the kids up and accidentally gets cozy with Shubra. He says that I was surprised you remember so much from our past memories. They finally wake the kids together. He says that today he will get them ready for school. Shubra is pleased to see Kuldeep spending time with the kids.
Sam is about to go to the office when Biji asks her where is she going. Biji asks her if she has accepted her defeat. Sam reminds her that she has won the dance competition. Biji says that I remember but winning a dance competition neither means that you are a good mother nor a good wife. She declares that Sam has lost. Sam says no, I will never lose from Shubra. Sam asks Biji what the next task is. Dadi gives Sam something that smells really bad. She says that today’s test is her. She says that in order to please your husband you will have to please me first. She asks Sam to sit down and massage her feet. Sam is about to puke from the smell of the ointment but anyways she continues. She asks if Biji will stay fair.
Biji swears on his son that he will be fair in the decision. While Sam gives Biji a foot massage someone from a beauty parlor comes to give beauty treatment to Shubra. Biji calls Shubra and asks her to sit and enjoy. Sam continues to labor while Shubra enjoys her pedicure. Biji appreciates Sam for her efforts. Sam goes to washroom to clean her hands and nails and asks Phirki to pack her and Kuldeep’s lunch. Just where she is about to leave for the office Roli starts crying from pain. Dadi asks Sam to take care of her as mothers wakes up the entire night in such conditions. How can she leave Roli, she says.
