Lakshmi was cooking in the kitchen. Rishi noticed that Lakshmi had some dirt on her face and wiped it away. Rishi told Lakshmi that he would like to ask her a question. Lakshmi replied that his questions were always tough.
Malishka confronted Anushka, asking her to say whatever she wanted directly to her face. Malishka told Anushka that she wasn’t the kind of wife who would sit in a corner and cry over losing her husband. Malishka said she takes matters into her own hands and solves her problems. Anushka asked if Malishka was referring to Balwinder.
Rishi told Lakshmi that his questions weren’t tough. He then asked if she would give their relationship another chance. Lakshmi remained silent. Rishi told her that she didn’t need to answer right away and that his questions wouldn’t seem tough if she answered from her heart. He asked her to think about it and left.
Kiran told Malishka that she had revealed Balwinder’s presence to Anushka since Balwinder was already there. Malishka confirmed this to Anushka, explaining that she called Balwinder to help get Lakshmi out of her life. Karishma intervened, asking why Malishka and Anushka were fighting and reminding them that their goal was the same — to get Lakshmi out of the house.
Balwinder, disguised as a pandit, told Avinash that a special pooja was needed, and only the daughter-in-law of the house could perform it. Avinash agreed and went to call Lakshmi.
The diamond smugglers, led by their boss, infiltrated the Oberoi mansion in disguise. The boss wondered where Pinter and David were, as the police were present, and they still hadn’t retrieved the diamonds.
Jadav was searching for the washroom when the smugglers’ boss approached him, introducing himself as the head waiter. He then took Jadav to a room and knocked him out.
Shalu was upset with Ayush’s behavior. Ansh approached Shalu, asking why she was upset and assuring her that she could confide in him — he wouldn’t tell anyone and her secret would be safe with him. Shalu initially lashed out at Ansh but soon realized she shouldn’t have spoken to him that way and apologized. They later had a normal conversation.
Neelam returned home and went to the pandit. She realized it wasn’t Acharya Jagannath and asked Balwinder where he was. Balwinder explained that Acharya Jagannath asked him to handle the pooja and then left. Neelam was surprised, as she had specifically told Acharya Jagannath that he had to perform a special pooja at their house. Balwinder offered to conduct the pooja himself. Neelam told him that he had to perform a Nava Graha Pooja and asserted that she could tell whether a pandit was capable of doing it or not. She then told Karishma that she should have informed her if Acharya Jagannath wasn’t available. Lakshmi arrived and asked the pandit (Balwinder) if he called her. Balwinder commented on Neelam’s behavior, saying she insulted him. Neelam responded to his comment.
Rishi noticed that Ayush seemed lost in his thoughts. Concerned, Rishi asked Ayush what was bothering him and why he suddenly looked so distracted. Rishi urged him to share what was troubling him. Ayush confessed that he was getting bad vibes from Ansh and felt uncomfortable with how close Ansh and Shalu were becoming. He admitted he was feeling jealous and wanted to keep Shalu away from Ansh. Rishi asked Ayush what he planned to do.
Meanwhile, the boss entered the room and heard noises coming from the locked bathroom. He assumed Pinter and David were inside and called out to them. Cleverly, Rano mimicked a different voice and responded, hoping to get released from the bathroom. Pinter and David, who were hiding in the cupboard, emerged. The boss, surprised, asked them why they were inside the cupboard. Pinter explained that another gang locked them in and stole their clothes. The boss asked if someone else was locked in the bathroom, to which Pinter replied that it was a woman connected to the Oberoi family. The boss then demanded to know where his diamonds were. Pinter revealed that one diamond was hidden in Bappa’s idol, while the other was with Lakshmi, who was wearing it as a bracelet. The boss ordered Pinter and David to steal other jewelry along with the diamond bracelet to make it seem like an ordinary theft, and they agreed. Rano, however, was unable to overhear their conversation.
Elsewhere, Avinash noticed that Paro and Rohan looked upset. They explained that none of the children their age were at the pooja to play with. Avinash, trying to cheer them up, said he was still a kid at heart and agreed to play “chor-police” (thief and cop) with them. He played the thief, while Paro and Rohan tried to catch him. As they searched the room, they stumbled upon the unconscious bodies of the inspector, pandit, and Mukesh.
Rano banged on the bathroom door, shouting for someone to unlock it. Avinash heard her and freed her. He asked how she got locked in, and Rano explained that the fake pandit trapped her. Meanwhile, Paro and Rohan woke Mukesh and asked him to help revive the inspector and pandit. Once awake, the pandit asked for his clothes, which Mukesh retrieved. Realizing something was wrong, they began to suspect that there was trouble at the event. Avinash said the pandit wanted to meet Lakshmi. After talking to Avinash, Rano became certain that Lakshmi was in danger.
Back with Rishi and Ayush, Rishi asked if Ayush was sure that what he was feeling was jealousy and not anger. Ayush confirmed that it was jealousy. Rishi explained that jealousy often happens when we start seeing someone as more than just a friend. Just then, Rano arrived and informed Rishi and Ayush that Lakshmi was in danger. Rishi was alarmed and asked what she meant. Rano explained how the fake pandit locked her in the room. Rishi, Ayush, and the others decided to rescue Lakshmi. Paro, Rohan, along with Mukesh, the pandit, and the inspector came there. Paro and Rohan recounted their encounter to Rishi, who told them to lock themselves in a room for safety. Paro insisted they should help if needed, and Rishi agreed before heading off with the others to rescue Lakshmi and deal with the fake pandit’s gang.
Meanwhile, Ansh asked Shalu what kind of person she would want as a life partner. Shalu, growing annoyed, asked him to stop pretending to be her best friend and wondered why he was so interested in her personal matters. Ansh playfully responded that she was interesting, which is why he was pursuing her. He dared her to make him lose interest. He then asked if she preferred someone like Rishi, Ansh, or Ayush type. Shalu firmly replied that he shouldn’t include his name, as she didn’t know him well. At that moment, Rohan and Paro rushed in and informed Shalu about the situation at home, explaining that Rishi had gone to confront some bad people. Shalu quickly took them to Dadi’s room.
At the pooja, the fake pandit (Balwinder) told Neelam that the real pandit’s call wasn’t going through and that the muhurta (auspicious time) was passing. He asked for Neelam’s permission to begin the pooja. Malishka urged Neelam to give her approval, but Neelam rebuked her, insisting that she didn’t need Malishka’s input on her decisions. Karishma stepped in and offered to handle the situation by talking to the pandit. Malishka apologized to Neelam and said she would speak with the pandit, then took him aside. Malishka scolded Balwinder, telling him that he couldn’t kidnap Lakshmi this way. She urged him to kidnap Lakshmi as soon as possible. Balwinder agreed. Meanwhile, Rishi and the others came to the hall. Rishi showed Balwinder to Rano and asked if he was the fake pandit who locked her in the room. Rano said he was not. Jagannath said he was the real pandit who came to perform the puja, and asked Balwinder who he was. Malishka quickly said Balwinder was also a pandit and that she saw him in the mandir. Meanwhile, Dadi thought everything was going well, but felt that something wrong was about to happen.
The diamond smugglers fired a gun and demanded that no one move from their places. Neelam, confused, asked what was happening and who they were. The diamond smuggler responded that they would find out soon. Shalu brought Rohan and Paro to Dadi’s room and informed her about the intruders in the house. She asked Dadi to take care of the kids before leaving to help Rishi.
The inspector, Rishi, and Ayush engaged in a fight with the diamond smugglers. Meanwhile, Rohan and Paro told Dadi they needed to go out and save everyone from the intruders. Dadi advised them to let the elders handle the situation first, and if they failed, they could intervene. The kids agreed.
The diamond smugglers overpowered Rishi, Ayush, and the inspector. One of the smugglers pointed a gun at Rishi. Malishka begged the intruders to leave Rishi and take whatever they wanted. The boss said they came to steal jewelry and asked them to cooperate. David went near the Bappa idol to take the diamond and noticed Balwinder in disguise. He approached him and accused Balwinder of locking them in the cupboard, suspecting that he was part of another gang. Balwinder suggested that they join forces to avoid suspicion from the other group.
Aanchal came downstairs while talking to the commissioner and was shocked by the situation. One of the diamond smugglers, noticing her conversation, tried to attack her, but Aanchal slapped him. Rishi and the others managed to escape, though some people got caught.
Malishka dragged Balwinder to a room and asked if the goons were his men. Balwinder denied it. Guddu also entered the room. Malishka angrily lashed out at Balwinder for failing to kidnap Lakshmi. An enraged Balwinder swore he would kidnap Lakshmi today and asked Guddu to help him. Guddu refused, not wanting to risk it. Balwinder left alone.
Lakshmi asked Rishi about the kids, and he reassured her that they were in Dadi’s room. Lakshmi headed to Dadi’s room. Rishi called the police to inform them about their situation, and they agreed to send help as soon as possible. Neelam, Aanchal, Karishma, and Avinash locked themselves in a room. Rishi called Neelam and told her that the police were on their way. Neelam insisted that Rishi bring Paro and Rohan to her room, and Rishi agreed. He then asked Ayush how to get the kids to Neelam’s room, and Ayush said he had a plan. He asked Ansh to help Rishi, and Ansh went to bring the kids from Dadi’s room. Along the way, Ayush encountered Shalu and tried to warn her about the goon, but she assumed the man was a guest. The goon pulled out a knife to attack them, but they managed to escape.
Lakshmi knocked on Dadi’s door and gently asked her and the kids to open it. Dadi opened the door, and Lakshmi felt relieved to see that they were safe. Dadi asked if the goons had been caught, but Lakshmi said they hadn’t and suggested they hide. Rohan and Paro insisted they could catch the intruders, but Lakshmi tried to calm them down.
Neelam, worried about the kids’ safety, told Aanchal she couldn’t wait in the room any longer. Despite Aanchal’s reassurance, Neelam left the room to rescue her grandchildren. Aanchal, Avinash, and Karishma followed her. Lakshmi heard footsteps and tried to lock the door, but a goon pushed her and pointed a gun at them.
