Staying true 24 May 2023: The Episode starts with Sushma going to Sanjay and kissing on his forehead. He says I have given my first blessing to you, before giving blessing to my son, but the blessing which I gave to you, became a curse for my son. She says I don’t make selfish relations like you, and that’s why telling you with my heart, that you are not my daughter, I am not your mother or mother in law and you are not my daughter in law. She says we have no relation with each other. She holds Sanjay’s hand and is walking off with him, when Paragi’s dupatta gets entangled in his watch. He frees her dupatta. Sushma takes Sanjay from there. Paragi gets teary in her eyes. Pramod says my bhabhi ji and Sanju have self respect and that’s why they are not throwing you out of house, although you are already out of their hearts.
He asks her to leave from the house. Baby says Bhabhi was very happy before you came here, but you have burnt all her dreams. Paragi says I will clean the stain from everyone’s hearts with these ashes. She gets a call from MLA office and says our family will come to 26th January function. She tells Pramod and baby and says I will do all the arrangements. She says we have to stand together forgetting everything, in country’s honor. Baby asks if we celebrate due to her. Pramod says she has fallen down in bhabhi’s sight and will be out of the house too.
Sanju comes to the room and finds thank you on the wall written with lights. Paragi comes there and says whenever I was in darkness, you brought light in my life and helped me always. She says you have won in the paper finding rasam and that’s why a small thank you gift to you. She gives him latest UPSC notes to him. Sanju says I don’t believe in the rasams, I had loved a girl, who defeated me and went ahead. Paragi says we are walking together, and asks if he don’t realize his love for her. He says whatever happened with my mother shall not happen with any woman, and tells that if you have been happy if same thing happened with your badi mummy. Paragi says it is not less painful that my so called dear ones, did this. He asks her not to lecture him for UPSC. He says he don’t want to take its name, as your badi mummy did this thing with my mummy.
He asks her to leave it. Paragi says you have accepted that you are a failure and that’s why I will donate the books so that it can help someone. Sushma and Vinod hear her and misunderstand. Paragi says you didn’t hear me fully. Sushma scolds her for lowering her son. Vinod says we heard everything. Sushma tells Sanju that Paragi doesn’t deserve his love and tells Paragi that she has snatched his pride.Chanda gets happy seeing invite from MLA office. Ayul and Kinkar get happy too. Kinkar says pathaks might be invited too. Chanda says I will get Pathak’s permanent holiday and whispers her plan to them. Parashar hears and thinks he won’t let them come there.
Pathaks gets ready to go for the function. Sushma applies black tika to Sanju. Baby asks her to apply one more. Paragi comes there. Sanju looks at her. Sushma asks them to leave and says we will come with Abhay. Abhay goes out. Sushma sends Paragi to get her phone and locks the door. Paragi knocks on the door and asks why did you close the door. Sushma says you went ahead of my son and now wants to snatch the honor from him, I won’t let this happen. Sushma and baby leave. Paragi asks them to open the door.
Chanda and her sons are leaving. Kinkar says I will drink water. Chanda says we have to teach a lesson to Pathaks there. They hear Parashar talking to someone and the guy informing him about the terrorist attack on the celebration venue. Chanda tells her sons that they shall not go. Atul asks her not to worry. Chanda says she has more plans against Pathaks. Parashar hears them and thinks I won’t let your plans gets successful. He asks Himmat to be there and says I will go there and will request them not to punish Paragi. At the celebrations of republic day, Sanju waits for Paragi and thinks where is she? She was about to come with Maa and Chachi. MLA comes there. Sanju greets him. MLA asks him to clear UPSC next year. He sees Parashar and says you are the chief guest being Paragi’s father.
He appreciates him and tells that he is sure that Paragi will clear the interview and will top in the State too. He makes Parashar wear the garland. Parashar gets glad. Paragi thinks why she is locked, she wants to see her Sanju hoisting the flag and she will salute. Sanju thinks where is she?MLA telling that their ancestors have given big sacrifices to see the republic day. He says our youth is the future and the youth will hoist the flag. Parashar thinks where is Paragi, and hopes she don’t miss the function. Sushma asks Sanjay to get ready to hoist the flag. Vinod says you will get the chance like always. MLA announces that the flag will be hoisted with the daughter of the nation Paragi pathak. Paragi reaches there and says I have reached MLA.
Everyone claps for her. Sushma and others are shocked. Sanjay smiles and looks at her. Paragi comes to Sushma and recalls coming out of the window. She says whatever my badi mummy have done, was wrong and asks why did you lock me at home? Sanjay thinks that’s why paragi is late and gets upset with Sushma. Paragi says I got a mother after marriage. MLA welcomes Paragi on the stage and asks everyone to clap for her. Paragi says she is Paragi Pathak and says sorry, says it is my identity now. Chanda comes there with Atul and Kinkar. She says you was Paragi Parashar and will be Parashar always, your roots will be attached to your mayka. Sushma recalls Chanda getting her humiliated and gets scared.
Chanda tells Parashar that Atul checked on phone and came here. She says we shall go to stage. She goes to stage and asks MLA if she can say few words for her. She gives good wishes to everyone for republic day and says she is Paragi Pathak’s badi mummy and tells that she became Pathak later. She says I taught her and made her capable to clear UPSC. She says I used to give her almonds for faster brain, books etc and says she has to take care of her like taking care of a patient. She says I gave her everything while she was on the chair. She says she used to make her awake before sunrise and says Paragi made them famous. She says Parashar made Paragi reached here and Pathaks got UPSC bahu without doing anything.
She says we have sowed the seed and made it grow, and now when the plant has grown, someone is eating the fruits. She says I don’t want to say anything now. Paragi thinks she can’t tell her anything now else Chanda will insult them further. Sushma goes from there. Sanjay goes behind her and asks if she is fine. Sushma says how can I be fine, when your place is given to someone else. Sanjay says your heart is not small. Sushma says she can’t see his insult. He says this flag is our pride and what is important is that it will be hoisted today. He says we wil leave after seeing its pride. MLA asks Paragi to hoist the flag. Paragi says I want to say something before that. baby says it seems Paragi will insult us. Nutan says she can’t be left behind to insult us.
Paragi says jai hind and says we honor the heroes of the nation today, but they are always behind the curtain. She says it is not easy for poor people to do UPSC and gives credit to Parashar for seeing UPSC dream before her, and says he has done many sacrifices for me and whatever I am today is due to him. Pramod says she is selfish not to take Sanju’s name. Paragi then tells that her husband gave hopes and wings to her talent and dedication. She says I am just the face, but actually it was Sanju, who helped me pass the test. She says I couldn’t pass the UPSC if Sanjay wouldn’t have been there with me, and says it was my fight, but Sanju fought with me, he was the only one who stood by me. She praises Sanju and thanks him for doing everything for her. She says you are thinking that I am capable to hoist the flag and it is big honor for me, but Sanjay to hoist the flag being my hero and says she is lucky to have him in her life.
Everyone claps. MLA praises Paragi and say even your hidden hero shall get this honor and asks Sanjay and Paragi to hoist the flag together. Sanjay smiles. They hoist the flag together and salute.
