I do 14 October 2022: Armaan watches silently as mahira sits. begum comes out and is shocked, and then begs armaan while he is sure that mahira would get up at the last minute. he however is adamant and doesnt relent. she tries to make him understand that mahira is adamant and wont budge at all. begum rushes from mahira to armaan asking him to stop. Afreen thinks that its good that mahira shall die, and begum be houseless. just then, armaan’s granny arrives and is surprised to find the commotion and asks whats happening. She comes in the crowd, and then asks afreen whats going on and that this is Armaan’s house. afreen narrates everything, saying that mahira is greedy. granny says that the girl doesnt look so, as who is praying like this, cant be wrong. Afreen asks who is she, disgusted by her concern for mahira.
granny taunts that she got really good manners. she says that she wont let this girl be hurt and shall definitely save her. she tries to make her way through the crowd. afreen gets frustrated and rushes after her. As granny comes to the forefront, afreen stands behind her. while granny is shocked, afreen pushes her. In the commotion, she shoves armaan’s granny and she falls right in front of the bulldozer between it and mahira. mahira is shocked to see this and armaan is aghast. Hurrying immediately to rescuse her from the incoming bulldozer, mahira rushes first with armaan after her, for his granny’s help. mahira covers granny while he rushes ahead when it doesnt stop.
The bulldozer continues, while armaan steps inside the machine and then takes the steering himself and motors it away, within inches of the ladies. begum is relieved. mahira asks her if she is okay and she says yes. he comes to her, and then instantly begins to take care of her. Afreen is angered, while begum is shocked. Mahira is tensed.Inside, he tends to his granny’s wound, while she asks him not to bother unnecessarily. she wants to ask about mahira, and he says that she is the previous owner of the house. she asks whats his problem with the house. he says that he has a problem with those who lived inside it. She again repeats that the girl who was so ardently praying cant be wrong at all and that he misunderstood her.
But he is insistent too he knows her very well and knows how to handle her very well too. she says that she doesnt know whats going on between them, but knows this much, the due to that girl, his granny is alive today. She says that he gifted him her life, and that he should thank her for this. he is set to thinking, while she smiles at him.Armaan then comes to mahira, and thanks her for saving granny’s life, but she taunts that even positivity doesnt suit him at all. She says that she would have saved anyone in place of his granny, as she believes in saving unlike him. he hears tensedly. she reminds that she had told she wouldnt let anything happen to the haveli and till she is here, he wont succeed at all.
he says that she should thank granny, as had she not been there, she would have been finished today with her house. She asks him to go threaten someone else, as she isnt scared now, since the lord is with her, after what happened today, nd she isnt alone, and asks her to take a countdown, as she shall have him thrown out of the house with his stuff. she storms out. he thinks that some people arent meant to be courteous too, as now he wont only break her house but her pride too, by getting her to sign the papers to relinquish her property.
Later, mahira is thanked by some ladies, who have come to ask for some charity on azad’s behalf, and she happily entertains them. she gets ready to sign the papers. She then starts seeing the papers, while armaan watches from the balcony, calling and telling someone, that his women are with mahira, getting her to sign the papers, in the name of chairty and that she is about to sign. She starts going through the papers. he watches tensedly. the lady is actually, Afreen under the burqa, who gives her a pen that she earlier laced with aneasthesia, and accidentally yet intentionally pricks it, on her hand, and then apologises for her negligence. mahira is about to sign when she gets dizzy. She is boggled as to whats caused this. he watches fom the balcony and wonders whats she doing, and whats taking the delay. afreen smiles under the veil.
mahira says that she would just be back. she gets up in a dizzy and groggy state, and begins to walk towards her room, feeling nauseatic all the while. Finally, she is about to fall off, when he holds her, and she confronts him, in her semi-conscious state. he is boggled and tensed to see her like this, wondering what happened to her. he carries her in his arms and then places her on the bed. he tries to wake her up, but she doesnt respond at all. he gets concerned, and dials the doctor and asks him to come in for an emergency. he checks her pulse, and finds that its normal and that she is breathing, and wonders if she is dramatising. He pinches her to see, but finds her actually unconscious, and thinks that if she had to be sick, she could have had that after signing the papers.
latif tries begum’s phone in mahira’s room, tensed that begum would be tensed if she gets to know of mahira, while he is tensed, as he checks mahira. When the doctor comes and checks mahira, armaan asks him whats wrong with her. He says that he feels she has been poisoned. this shocks armaan. he says that he is giving the antidote, but cant say for sure, if it shall work. Armaan asks who shall tell him then. He says that he is the doctor, but not the lord. he says that the poison has stunned her brain and isnt lethal, as her heart is beating normally. He says that if she doesnt come back to her senses, within 24 hours, then she might have to be admitted. he then leaves. armaan is tensed.He wonders who has poisoned this poisonous lady and thinks that maybe she did this to herself, as she had told she would do, to save the house.
Scene 2:
Location: Spa and salon
Begum and gazalla have a relaxing session at the spa, where gazalla is supremely happy. begum says that she too is happy, as mahira refused to sign off the papers and she can breathe easily. Her masseuse is actually afreen, who thinks that she can breathe a few minutes more, as after that she has to stop breathing, so that she can take in the fresh air, with her son, and start a new life afresh. she tells gazalla that she is going to the steam room, while gazalla decides to stay back here only. begum leaves. Afreen eyes her evilly.
Scene 3:
Location: On the road
Armaan halts at the signal, and afreen drives in beside him, and asks for directions. He gives them. she thanks him and then compliments him on his choice, as his car is nice. she then pulls up the windshiels, and drives past. armaan sits boggled, and then drives on. Further on the road, armaan finds afreen in a commotion with another lady, who is fighting with her, as she caused damage to her car. When afreen sees that she has armaan’s attention, she asks the lady to slap her. She does so, and afreen hits her head against the windshield and it starts bleeding. he intervens. She thanks him for his coming and says that she made a mistake and has apologised too. he advocates for her too. But the fight ensues, as afreen pretends to be dizzy, and falls unconscious, when he gets concerned for her, and takes her in his arms, and then walks to his car, while she continues to pretend being sick. The screen freezes on their faces.
Begum gets in the spa, and then goes into relax, while thinking something. she falls dizzy, when the warm smoke starts to fill up and she is terribly perspiring. she tries to get out, but finds the door locked from outside. She starts suffocating for breaths, while she screams for anyone to let her out, while gazalla is fast asleep, after the relaxing session of the massage. She starts coughing profusely. Then she suddenly finds a man’s legs and gets up to see him turned with his back at her. She finds that fellow talking to someone on the phone, and before she can talk, she collapses yet again. the fellow feels someone called out to him, and turns around to find the knob closed.
he turns it on, and then gets in finding, himself colliding into something. he finds begum unconscious on the floor, and picks her up, and for sometime completely mesmerised by her. Then he starts screaming for help, but when noone comes, he takes her out in his arms, as she lies unconscious. meanwhile, gazalla gets up after a relaxing session, and then hears the man’s screams. She rushes out. meanwhile, the guy places her on a bed, and hollers for the doctor. the doctor comes and asks what happened. he says that she probably collapsed due to the high steam, and asks her to revive. she finds him in compromising position and he understands.
he excuses himself that he shall change and come back. the doctor gets to checking her. Meanwhile, the guy changes and comes back, rushing to that place. he comes back to find her gone. she tells him that the lady recovered rigth after he went, and just a few seconds back, she went away. he rushes out and barely missing her by seconds, and is only able to see her reflection in the rearview mirror. He finds his hands shivering and then takes a pill to recompose himself, unable to take his eyes off her. He then takes out his wallet and reveals a pic of her, or a similar looking her and comments that he found her after so many years, only to lose her yet again.
Scene 2:
Location: On the road
begum is worried as to how this happened, while gazalla terms that its an accident. Begum says that this wasnt an accident, but thought out well, and someone did it intentionally. She sys thatits someone who wants her out of the way as she poses a hindrance to their motive, and deduces that it must have been afreen. she is sure that afreen tried to kill her.
Scene 3:
Location: Begum’s residence
Armaan places afreen beside, an unconscious mahira, as they both lie in the same bed. he is frustrated that he has double problems now as if one wasnt enough. he thinks that he shall have to do something. he goes out. Just then, afreen gets up and eyes mahira evilly. She thinks that every game has its own time, and hers starts now. she says that Khan begum is counting her last breaths right now, as she remembers how she had locked the door from outside, while begum was inside taking the sauna bath, and then also turns up the heat in the thermostat to maximum. She thinks that in the next five days, mahira shall be unconscious, and in these days, she shall make armaan hers, as with azad she got defeated despite winning, but not this time around. she is determined.
She sits beside mahira and tells her that she cant do anything against her, as she doesnt pose a threat at all, but begum did as she is an old player and had to be taken out. Now that she is taken out, afreen is unstoppable. she is about to go out, when she finds granny walking in the corridor, and wonders whats she doing here. she is frustrated to see her. She hides herself behind the drapes, as granny comes in and sits beside mahira, concerned and tensed for her. Afreen meanwhile notices her involved, and takes this oppurtunity to sneak out, but accidentally hits her hand against the vase, alerting and shocking granny, as she turns around to see her. She herself is tensed too. She rushes out, while garnny rushes after her, aking who is she, and what was she doing in mahira’s room.
but afreen continues rushing, and then hides behind the pillar to escape latif coming in. after she is gone, afreen comes out again but finds herself being confronted by granny, as they recall their first encounter. Granny recognises her correctly, that she pushed her, while she vehemently denies that she didnt do anything like that, as she hasnt seen her before. She wonders who shall save her now. She decides to do something fast. Armaan comes and finds them both and wonders whats happening. Afreen takes her kajal and smears it against granny’s earlobe and she gets under the influence of her dark magic, while afreen smiles. granny thanks her for saving her life. He comes up and asks whats she doing. afreen pretends to be meek and humble.
Armaan watches on when granny blesses afreen and tells him that she saved her from slipping on the stairs. After they are gone, Afreen thinks that granny was an easy win. She also says that the best part is in fighting with the fearsome, and in making it her own. The screen freezes on her face.Latif tells everything about mahira going unconscious, and armaan taking her to the room, and she trying to call begum, but how begum didnt pick up. begum is startled to hear this. She hurriedly asks about afreen, and asks if she was here.
latif denies. She says that she is sure afreen is behind it. She is unconvinced, and asks latif to be still extra cautious, as its definitely her who is trying to do this, since this cant be an uncanny co-incidence that they both went into trouble at the same time. begum gives her a read flower, and then instructs her to keep guard on mahira’s room, and ensure that afreen isnt able to get it. latif is skeptic but resignedly complies. begum vows that she shall never let afreen succeed in her plans at any cost.Meanwhile, Afreen knocks on the door, and armaan opens it and she smiles at him. she then wishes granny and then thanks him for saving her life, and that she should get going now.
Granny gets up still in a daze of afreen’s black magic, and comes to her. She tells him that armaan shall drop her wherever she needs to and asks where she stays. Afreen gets teary eyed, and says that she doesnt know, and wherever destiny takes her. granny asks her not to talk like this and takes her inside and makes her sit down. she complies. he watches on. granny asks her to tell her problem, and share with her. Afreen says that she is the unfortunate one who doesnt have a home, and then says that she wasnt an orphan, but after her birth, her mother threw her on the streets, and then she got raised in an orphanage, to strike a cord with armaan which she does, as he remembers his woeful tale, while she pretentiously narrates hers, and how she struggled through life, but finally made a business of hers, but her business partner betrayed her and stole everything, and now having no home, nor money, she doesnt have a place to go.
she then adds that even for a small amount of time, when she met him and his family. she felt like home. she gets up and then leaves. granny tells him that she reminded her of his childhood. She tells him that the girl shall stay here only now and asks him to go and stop her. he complies and stops her, asking her that she neednt go, as she can stay here. She says that she has never received such love and care from someone, and thanks him for the offer, but she cant stay here and overuse his extended favour, and as it is, he can keep her here and give a good life for some days, but after that she shall have to return back to her destined lifestyle, saying that he cant understand her pain. she begins to go, but he stops her, while she is surprised. Afreen and armaan get chatting, when he opens upto her, saying that he understands her pain completely, as he too was born an orhphan and knows whats the pain of it like.
He starts venting out his frustration against his birth parents, while afreen is amused, that her plan worked. he says that there are wrong and right people in the world, and that when near ones turn away, strangers reach out to help like her granny, who she herself saved today, and that they arent blood related but mean much more to each other than that, as she held him, when he needed it the most, and anyone’s favour can be rapyed back by doing them a favour only. he says that once time extended out to him, and today he is extending that to her, while she smiles evilly. When he turns to face her, she pretends to be concerned and serious. He offers her to stay in the house, and take care of it as the governess.
She pretends to be overwhelmed with emotions, saying that she cant thank him enough, and gets on his feet, thanking him profusely, while he is tensed. he turns around to leave, while she eyes him evilly, her purpose having been solved. She thinks that the body of steel contained a wax like heart which melted soon enough, and that now winning over him is very easy, and once he lands in her arms, then the game as well as the victory is hers. begum sees her from a distance and says that she afreen may try all that she wants, but she shall never let her succeed in her motive.
Later, while latif is dozing beside mahira’s bed, as she lies unconscious, armaan passes by and stops, as he eyes mahira for sometime. he then walks off. Afreen arrives after him and looks at mahira, saying that its true that love transcends the barriers of death, and hence azad’s heart inside armaan’s body still beats for mahira only but before armaan starts feeling for mahira, she shall have made him hers. Latif keeps on sleeping.
Scene 2:
Location: Undisclosed Location
Meanwhile, begum’s saviour guy at the gym, arrives home, and eyes the begum’s lookalike’s portraits, saying that even if the lord has distanced her from him, but he still keeps her in his heart. He eyes them lovingly.
Scene 3:
Location: Vihaan’s residence
In the kitchen, Afreen laces the milkshake with her blackmagic, thinking that she has specially prepared this for him. she decides to serve it to him, watching amuseldy and thinking that after he finishes it, he wont be able to separate himself from her for even a single second, and fall completely in love with her. But just then the lights go off, and she wonders what happened all of a sudden. before she realises anything, the lights comes back on, and she takes the tray and comes to armaan, while he is busy researching on mahira’s peculiar health issue. He takes it and gulps it down, while she watches amused in glee. but she is confused, as he hands it back to her, but doesnt respond at all. As she lingers on, he asks if there’s anything else. she asks if he needs anything. he asks her to close the door on her way out.
she is boggled as she walks out, wondering why the magic didnt work on him, and he is continuously working unperturbed, as he should have been in her arms. The screen freezes on her boggled face.
