This is fate 9 September 2023: Rakhi is sitting holding the dress of Mahesh while crying, Karina entering the room questions why is she crying, she asks it should not be that Karina said a lot of bad things about Preeta which is why she is crying but should not forget that they are also her family and came into her life a long time ago, Rakhi mentions that these tears are not because of what they all said to her, she surely feels hurt when she or Preeta says something to her as she also loves them a lot but there is something else, Karina questions what happened when Rakhi informs she knows tomorrow is the birthday of Mahesh and they cannot throw a party for him but she thinks how he always used to say that he looks really handsome in black but then thought of helping him wear these clothes, Karina asks what is the worry, Rakhi informs Prithvi said they cannot go downstairs so how can she make him wear these clothes. Karina apologizes for everything that she said informing she loves her and Mahesh a lot but knows Rakhi is really innocent however is she wants Mahesh to wear these clothes then she would herself give them to Mahesh.
In the morning Preeta is on the call with Ganesh, she advises him to give the money at the mandir and also hold a pooja in the name of Mahesh, she even informs there are a lot of things in the trunk of the car so he should do it, Preeta sees Karina walking to the basement but she is really tensed and Preeta seeing that she is going to the basement thinks she is going to meet Mahesh, she then sees Mona heading downstairs with a bag and so recalls how prithvi said she must give him the same food, Preeta follows her.
Karina walking in the hall of the basement thinks how it would be better if it takes Mona a long time in the market as then she would be able to give Mahesh the clothes, she goes to the room when Mahesh immediately sits in the corner and is really scared, Karina kneeling beside him informs she brought these clothes for him since today is his birthday, everyone in the house desires to wish him but they cannot come to meet him. she starts crying and even Mahesh has tears in his eyes, she requests him to not cry. Mona walks towards the room when she picks the hunter and seeing the room is open, Mona thinks that Prithvi sir asked her to not let anyone meet Mahesh and before Mahesh would get scared seeing it but today she is going to use it on her, Mona questions Karina and starts hitting her, Karina shouts explaining that she is hurting her but Mona doesnot stop, Preeta hearing their voices rushes to the room and pushes Mona away, questioning if this is the way she is going to handle her patient, Mona replies that Preeta must not interfere in her work as she is a nurse and knows how to handle her patients, Preeta replies how dare she hit Karina since she is the elder of the house and no one can even talk to her so how is she hitting her, Mona replies Preeta can ask any question from Dr Jhariwal since he hired her because of her reputation, Karina asks Preeta to not questions Mona since they would get in trouble, Preeta replies she is not moved by her quietness and questions what is she doing, Mona mentions she is doing what is her duty, Preeta asks why should she ask the explanation from the doctor when Mona is appointed however Mona replies she can question the doctor but if she stops her from doing the duty then she would have to suggest the doctor that Mahesh Luthra should be shifted to the mental asylum.

Sameer sitting in the bed wonders what is going on with him after what happened yesterday night since he went to her house but she is neither his girlfriend nor anything else but just his friend, however even after this all he is really hurt but if she doesnot care about him then he also has no interest, karan says then this means he feels something, Karan informs that he is once again asking Sameer to go and talk with Shristhi, Sameer informs he went to her house but she along with Janki aunti hit him so much that is still hurting. Karan starts laughing explaining that both Preeta and Shristhi have ruined their lives. Karina starts yelling asking karan to come downstairs.
Karan rushes when Karina asks if she can trust anyone in this house, she asks karan why is Mahesh in the basement when karan replies that because he is not mentally fit and would be dangerous for the family when Karina asks why did Preeta go to meet him knowing if anyone is near him then Mahesh would be sent to the mental asylum, Preeta replies she went there to teach Mona how to handle her patient, Karina says that Preeta desires Mahesh go to mental asylum.
Prithvi smiles exclaiming he is glad that someone in this house recognized Preeta for the first time and he is glad it is Karina, she turning to Karan questions why is he quiet when he brought Preeta into this house, he asks why did she go to meet him knowing today is his birthday, Preeta replies she went to wish him but there saw that Mona was hitting both Karina and Mahesh papa, so how could she not respond. Karina asks what the result would be because if mona got angry and sent Mahesh to the mental asylum. Prithvi replies to this time it would be really difficult to keep Mahesh out of the mental asylum as they all know how much he had to fight in order to make sure Mahesh stays in the house but this time he would not be able to save Mahesh. Kritika asks what the problem of Preeta is because she acts as if she is really smart but doesnot know how to talk with someone when Sameer asks Kritika to calm down since Preeta is her Bhabhi, prithvi also warns Sameer to stay quiet, even Dadi scolds her.

Kritika informs that Mona is really important for her family and Mahesh, Kritika exclaims that they all are living with Preeta because she is the owner of Luthra industries when there is not a difference between Mona and Preeta, Natasha exclaims that Kritika should be polite since she is doing this because Karan allowed it however he says that she is doing it all because of herself, and if she is wrong then it is her fault, Preeta tries to ask Karan to listen however he says that she has a battle with him so why is she harming them all, Dadi says that if Mahesh is taken to the asylum then she would oust Preeta from this house, Preeta questions why are they talking like this since she is the owner of the Luthra empire, Karan mentions that he is talking on behalf of the entire Luthra family and if Mahesh is taken to the asylum then the entire Luthra family would leave, she can live in the house all alone, they all are staying because Rakhi doesnot want to leave but if Mahesh is not here then neither will the Luthra family. Rakhi explains that she is going to stand with her family as if her family doesnot want to stay in this house then neither will she, Preeta asks karan to come with her since she wants to talk with him, he however refuses but she takes him away when the entire Luthra family stands beside Rakhi when she sits down, Prithvi exclaims now Preeta will realize what has happened to her.
Preeta is pulling Karan to the side when he pulls away in anger, Preeta mentions he is her husband and even if she doesnot have very high expectations from him but she expects that he sometimes support her when he knows that she is right, Karan questions if she thinks of him as a husband as she doesnot even know how much he has done for her, he does a lot then Karan informs that today is the birthday of Mahesh so they all desired that he remain happy but because of her actions everyone in his family is crying, karan says she should not say this family is also her because he knows what she wants to do with them, Preeta replies she has explanation to each and every blame when karan refuses to even accept it saying she just cares for one thing and that is money because of which she came to the house,he did not accept it when she said it before but today has believed that she only cares for money, Kritika requests Karan to come as Mami jee might be fainting.

Karan rushes asking what is going on when Dadi informs she might be suffering from low blood pressure, Preeta sits down mentioning she is really suffering so ask Sameer to bring water with salt, Natasha questions why is Preeta so worried since Rakhi is in this condition because of her, Preeta replies this is not the right time for it because she is seeing that Natasha delivers a one liner and then leaves, Sameer brings the glass when Karina asks him to hand the glass, Natasha mentions she doesnot deliver a one liner, Preeta questions her to stop talking since the habit of her to instigate fire might one day be her own undoing, Karan stops her informing they both are arguing while his mother is ill, Prithvi mentions their thought process is never same but he now agrees with Karan, Sherlin mention the entire Luthra family thinks karan is right. Natasha replies why is Preeta like this even when Rakhi really likes her and used to talk with her but she was glad when Preeta came to this house and announced that she is the owner of this business empire, but after what she has done today, it has ruined everything since she knew the matters which have been going on with Mahesh uncle and what reaction would her action cause, she after knowing everything did the unthinkable which she doesnot understand, Kritika questions what is new in this since Preeta knows everything but does what she desires.
Preeta questions if they can stop it since Rakhi is ill and she can check her to suggest the medicine, Preeta insists on checking, karan says why she is doing it when Rakhi is ill, there is no need to act, Preeta questions what does he mean. Dadi also says that karan is right since there is no need for Preeta to act, Karina suggests that they should leave this house and even take Mahesh with them, Preeta thinks matters have taken a turn for worse but if they all leave then she would not be able to do what she desires, she will not be able to find out how much wrongs has Prithvi done with the Luthra business empire, and where is Rishab jee.
Preeta threatens they can all leave this house if they desire but Karan accepts it, Preeta informs they cannot take Mahesh since it is said in the clause that she is the caretaker of Mahesh so he will stay with her, Preeta thinks she is sorry for talking this way so goes upstairs.

Natasha asks karan what is his love since she has done something really wrong, she claims that Mahesh is her father but with the way she was saying it felt as if she might keep him as a prisoner, Natasha keeps on saying that karan should think of teaching Preeta a lesson so she doesnot do anything like this ever again, Karina asks Natasha to stop since he has already said a lot to Preeta when Natasha replies that she feels Karan should keep his wife in check since she is his wife, he should be angry with her for his family. Natasha smiles thinking that she will make sure karan leaves Preeta coming to her with her smart mind.
Preeta is standing when karan comes questioning what does she think of herself as she used to say Mahesh is her father and she does everything for him and his family, she has slapped his entire family, Preeta questions what is his problem as she has informed him that she has a right over the entire house, if she smiles with them then they take her lightly, but she will not let him do what he desires, karan informs he doesnot believes he loves her when she says it is his problem, he replies he is going to end it today when she says he should do it sooner since she will not leave the path which she is walking and will surely bring Mahesh papa out of the basement, karan replies he doesnot need anyone’s help when karan says it is enough as she talks a lot, but he did not come to listen to her, she said that love is his problem but now he would do what he desires however she instead of feeling guilty is exactly the opposite when Preeta mentions that she wants to make sure Mahesh papa comes out of the basement since she wants to thank him because he named all the property to her so she can thank him properly, karan thinks she should have said that she wants him to come out because she loves him however she said that she wants to thank him so made a mistake hurting the heart which loves her so much, Preeta thinks she cannot reveal the truth otherwise if the entire mission which she came for in the house would fail.
Bi jee is massaging the head of Shristhi when she questions why did bi jee go to meet the relatives when she says that they need to go and meet their relatives since they were invited, Bi jee says Shristhi is her own and so everyone loves her a lot, Shristhi explains that she is one in tens of million. Janki comes giving her the tea when she says that Shristhi feels that she is the reason for giving headache to everyone else, Bi jee explains that she used to laugh a lot at the jokes of Shristhi but doesnot laugh anymore, Shristhi mentions she is not that boring and can make anyone laugh, the mobile rings when Janki exclaims that the bell rings when it is the truth, Shristhi explains that it is Preeta di, Shristhi informs that she has a surprise as Bi jee came back when Preeta greets her and even asks about Sarla maa since she would have come back but then Bi je explains that she left Sarla in the village so Preeta gets tensed thinking that she really needs the help of Shristhi, she asks Bi jee why do thye not come when Shristhi assures she is going to bring her, Bi jee questions Shristhi if Preeta is fine but Shrishti assures that nothing is wrong however Bi jee explains she has a lot of experience when Shristhi informs that Mahesh uncle is no well so this is the reason that Preeta is tensed.

Preeta sitting on the bed wonders what can she do, she thinks of using the technique which has been used a lot times so will use a way which is not that straight path to make some people in this house mend their ways.
Kritika says to Karina that she is really glad, Karan has seen the true face of Preeta, Karina mentions she been trying a lot that both Rakhi and karan see her true face since she came back to their house then has caused a lot of pain, she sees Karan going so then stops him asking where is he going, he tries to leave when she explains that she knew Preeta is a really selfish girl as she came only for the sake of money but she would have found out about the mental health of Mahesh Bhai and taken over the entire property. Karan replies he doesnot know what to do since today is a really big day and they all should be celebrating the event but instead are worried if he is going to be sent to the mental asylum. Karina questions why he is so worried since she knows he is trying his best so everything would be fine.
karan leaves when Sameer tries to stop him, he says to Karina that one should try to end the problems between two people and not instigate them like she was doing. He leaves when Karina how dare he, saying Sameer has started talking a lot so now she would have to talk with him, she turns to Kritika mentioning she is glad that Kritika finally understood, since she always used to stand with Preeta, Kritika holding her hand apologizes saying that she will never make the same mistake twice as she is always going to stand with Kritika.

Preeta is walking on the balcony when she sees that Mona is coming from the basement while is also talking with someone on the call informing she is going to feed the patient and talk with him later, Preeta wonders why is she always taking her purse with her, even in the kitchen then Preeta following her says that the doctor called on the landline so can she check, Mona leaves with her purse which worries Preeta as she gets even more suspicious, she smells the food and gets really tensed wondering why is it smelling so bad, she gets angry at Mona so turns to teach her a lesson but stops thinking that Mona has a lot of importance in this house and if she fights with her then Mahesh papa would be sent to the asylum, she must think of another plan.
Mona is trying to talk on the phone when Preeta arrives and mona says this was not at all a good joke, since she said that Dr Jhariwala was on the phone but there is not any call, she has wasted a lot of time because she was going to give Mahesh sir the food, Preeta questions why would she joke with her as it is done with friends, she is not her friend or anyone whom she likes, Mona asks her to not lie since she wasted a lot of her time but Preeta only desires that Mona lose her job which is why she is doing this, Preeta explains she felt as if it was Dr Jhariwala but she might be mistaken since it would be someone else. Preeta asks her to carry on, she hears Karina urging Rakhi to come and eat something while Dadi is also following them to the table, Preeta secretly calls Ganesh ordering him to not come into the house assuring that they would serve the lunch.
Preeta stops Mona asking if she can help them serve the lunch since their house help Ganesh has gone out of the house for some work, Mona gets tensed explaining she needs to give lunch to Mahesh sir, Preeta questions what is the problem since she can come back after feeding him and then help serve the table, Preeta also asks if she can prepare the salad for her since she knows Mona is a good cook.
Prithvi in the room exclaims that before he was in love with Preeta so used to call her as Preeta je but not anymore since these days she is his worst enemy, he desired to marry her and then be able to live in his secret affair with Sherlin however it did not happen, he felt that both the brothers would get in fights and separate, but they are not together even now, however he is going to do something that will make sure Preeta begs him getting on her knees, he has something which cannot be spoken off, Sherlin questions what does he have.

Sherlin closes the door when he asks if she is in a romantic mood since she closed the door, she questions what is his plan since she wants to move ahead in life but he pulls her back, Prithvi asks when did he stop her, Sherlin asks what was going on downstairs since Kritika made him a hero while Preeta a villain, he says she should be happy since this is what she desired, Sherlin replies this is not what she wanted, Prithvi mentions she yesterday said that she knows he is acting when he is with Kritika, Sherlin replies she knows he is a lover so if Kritika is with him then he is going to forget her, Prithvi questions what does she mean as he is not like that since this is her insecurity speaking, he warns saying he doesnot have time for it all, she asks if he has any time for her, she refuses to let it happen now and pushes him but he also gets angry.
Sameer tries to stop karan when he warns Sameer to not do this since he knows that karan yells in anger so Sameer might not feel nice, Sameer requests him to at least think of the condition in which Preeta is when Karan questions what should he think about since Preeta clearly said that she only wants Mahesh to come out so she can thank him because he gave her all the property, Karan says that Mahesh was so nice with her and recognized her at the Lorhi party, yet she is still so selfish, he is done with her, Sameer assures he is always going to be with her so asks Karan to come and have lunch since these are the rules, Karan replies he will not follow her rules since this is his house, Sameer mentions he should think about Rakhi who would be feeling lonely today, they both leave.
Kritika opens the door asking what is going on here, Prithvi asks Sherlin to tell her the truth and then informs that Sherlin is really possessive about her so came to warn him saying he must not do anything wrong with her, Kritika goes to thank Sherlin for all her support and that she knows Prithvi would not do anything wrong with her, she leaves hearing something fall, prithvi comes asking Sherlin if she has understood what he meant since Kritika is that sort of a girl who believes her husband and will do anything for him, Kritika comes back mentioning how she was sure she heard something but even then asked them both to come and have lunch, Sherlin also leaves.

The entire family is sitting at the table, Mona places the bowl of Salad at the table, Preeta looking at her asks if she felt bad that Preeta asked her to help them, Sherlin replies not only Mona but they all look her since no one wants her to stay in this house, Mona says she knows that Preeta would be feeling nice by making a nurse work as a servant, Preeta asks why is she feeling so bad since even Kritika and Sherlin are working even when they are members of this family, prithvi explains that whenever she requests calmly there is usually something behind it just like in the morning when she irritated Mona to the extent that she was forced to say Mahesh should be sent to the mental asylum, Preeta replies she doesnot want to listen to their advice as no one understands what she is doing, she asks mona to not look at her like this since she made this salad for her but this was just for today, Mona replies she had to make it since it was her order, Preeta starts eating it mentioning how it looks delicious, Preeta after having a bite praises it, she holds her head exclaiming she is feeling dizzy, everyone is worried hearing this and Rakhi asks what happened, she falls to the ground seeing which they all are worried, karan rushes to her saying they need to call the doctor, Preeta asks them to call the police blaming Mona for mixing something in her food, hearing this everyone including Karan is stunned.
