The priest ask Lakshmi for a rope to swing the Paalna (cradle). Lakshmi agreed and left to get it.
Aanchal came and asked Malishka where Neelam’s migraine medicine was because she could not find it anywhere. Malishka said she put it in the bedside cupboard. Aanchal replied that she checked there but did not find it. Malishka insisted that it should be there. Lakshmi then told Aanchal that Neelam’s medicine was in the first aid box because she had placed it there when she ordered medicine for both Harleen and Neelam.
Lakshmi left and Malishka complained about Lakshmi interfering in their family matters. Aanchal responded that this was called taking care of others, indirectly criticising Malishka, and then left. Karishma approached Malishka. Malishka asked Karishma why Aanchal was behaving this way. Karishma told her that from today onward Aanchal’s behaviour would be different. Malishka was puzzled and asked why.
Meanwhile Shalu asked Rishi if he had Rs 5. Rishi checked his wallet but did not find any. He asked Ayush if he had Rs 5. Ayush agreed and gave it to Shalu who took it and left.
Malishka continued questioning Karishma asking what she meant about Aanchal’s change in behaviour. Karishma explained that Neelam scolded both Aanchal and Karishma earlier telling Aanchal to behave like Neelam and care for Parvati. From now on Aanchal’s priority would be Parvati. Malishka asked if this meant Aanchal no longer hated Lakshmi. Karishma clarified that the hatred was still there but Aanchal’s first priority was now Parvati. Malishka thanked Karishma for explaining.
Rishi asked Lakshmi how he looked. Lakshmi said he looked good and walked away. Rishi feeling unsure about her response decided that Lakshmi did not like the outfit and went to change.
Shalu gave Rs 5 to Ansh telling him they were now even. Ansh asked Shalu for her name but she refused to talk to him and walked away. Ansh felt he should apologise to Shalu for his earlier comments about Rano.
Shalu met Rohan and Parvati asking how things were between Rishi and Lakshmi. Rohan and Parvati assured her that everything was fine explaining that Rishi and Lakshmi were only pretending to argue. They even had proof claiming that Rishi hid in Lakshmi’s cupboard because he was afraid of Neelam. Ansh approached Shalu again asking for her name but Shalu refused. Just then Harleen called for Shalu telling her that the Pandit was asking for everyone. Ansh explained that he just wanted to apologise and left.
The lady from the theatre troupe spoke to Harleen suggesting that Lakshmi should perform all the rituals for the day as she looked just like Radha. Harleen agreed.
Rishi changed his outfit and asked Lakshmi how he looked now. Lakshmi asked why he changed and Rishi replied that she did not like his earlier outfit. Lakshmi insisted she never said that leading to an argument. Rishi commented on Lakshmi’s behaviour and left.
Ansh asked Ayush if he knew Shalu well. Ayush said yes. Ansh then asked if Shalu had a boyfriend or fiancé. Ayush visibly upset said Shalu had a boyfriend and Ansh left.
Shalu went to the kitchen and saw Lakshmi looking upset. Lakshmi explained that there was only one person in the house who always frustrated her: Rishi. Shalu smiled knowing that everything was fine between them and that they were just pretending to argue.
Shalu told Lakshmi that she knew Rishi hid in her cupboard to avoid being seen by Neelam. Rishi entered the kitchen and Shalu asked him to confirm the story. Rishi admitted it was true explaining that Lakshmi hid him so Neelam would not find him in her room all night which would have led to a severe scolding. Malishka overheard their conversation.
Malishka later hugged Kiran and revealed that Rishi was with Lakshmi the entire night. She accused Lakshmi of being a hypocrite always talking about doing the right thing but secretly crossing boundaries with Rishi. Malishka told Kiran she planned to do something th at would get Lakshmi thrown out of the house. Kiran was worried and asked what she intended to do.
Shalu told Lakshmi that the kids loved seeing her and Rishi together. She tried to convince Lakshmi to reconcile with Rishi but Lakshmi refused explaining that she was only here because of Parvati and no one else.
Malishka overheard Rohan and Parvati planning to get Rishi and Lakshmi together. Parvati suggested they lie to both Rishi and Lakshmi telling each that the other praised them. Malishka angry at Parvati for being like Lakshmi decided to get rid of both of them.
Malishka loosened the screws of the Paalna. She watched from upstairs as Lakshmi approached the Paalna but Lakshmi left when she saw Rohan had fallen on the stairs. The Paalna fell on Parvati injuring her. Lakshmi rushed to help and asked everyone to lift the Paalna. Rishi called for a doctor. A guest who was a doctor asked Rishi and Lakshmi to take Parvati to a room. Rishi agreed. Lakshmi noticed a screw on the floor.
The Pandit wondered why the screw came loose and Karishma overheard him.
The doctor checked on Parvati while Malishka pretended to console Rohan. Rishi brought Parvati into the room. Aanchal asked Dr Sangeeta to begin treatment. Sangeeta requested everyone except the parents to leave. Aanchal refused worried about Parvati’s condition since she was unconscious. After checking her Sangeeta confirmed that Parvati’s vitals were stable and she would regain consciousness soon. Lakshmi deeply concerned was comforted by Rishi.
Meanwhile Malishka brought Rohan into a room. Rohan mentioned that he saw Malishka handling the rod and questioned her about it. Malishka seeing Karishma approaching denied the accusation and convinced Rohan that he must be imagining things. Rohan reluctantly agreed wondering why she would hurt Parvati.
Sangeeta informed Harleen and Ayush about Parvati’s condition and assured them she would regain consciousness soon. She also asked Harleen to speak with the contractor responsible for the faulty paalna remarking that his negligence could have killed Parvati.
Inside the room Harleen watched over the still unconscious Parvati. Avinash expressed concern about how the paalna fell. Lakshmi vowed to find out if someone intentionally hurt Parvati which Kiran overheard.
Rohan feeling the need to check on Parvati left. Karishma instructed Anushka to follow him and she agreed. Karishma then reprimanded Malishka for her reckless actions. Malishka defended herself claiming her intention was to trap Lakshmi not Parvati. However Karishma insisted that harming anyone intentionally or not was wrong. Kiran also chided Malishka warning her about Lakshmi’s determination to seek justice for Parvati. Malishka frustrated retorted and left after a tense exchange.
Later Lakshmi discovered the broken paalna and saw Malishka nearby. She confronted Malishka asking why she did it. Malishka denied any involvement and defended herself but Lakshmi warned her to be grateful if she was innocent. Lakshmi vowed to watch her closely determined to uncover who was behind the incident. Malishka growing defensive insisted she did nothing wrong. Aanchal interjected stating that Parvati was hurt regardless of who was responsible and mentioned her intention to observe a vrath every Janmashtami in gratitude for Parvati’s survival.
That night Malishka was unable to sleep troubled by Lakshmi’s suspicion. She knew Rishi would stay by Parvati’s side leaving her feeling uneasy about what lay ahead.
The following day Malishka woke up late only to find that Rohan was already dressed for school. When she tried to warn him to stay away from Lakshmi he brushed her off and left for school. After school Rohan returned and told Malishka that he was worried about Parvati and planned to visit her.
Meanwhile Malishka overheard Lakshmi talking to Shalu on the phone assuring her that she was keeping a close watch on everyone and was determined to find the culprit.
Later Malishka had a daydream in which Lakshmi discovered the truth and punished her. Karishma pulled her out of the dream advising her to shift Lakshmi’s focus elsewhere. When Malishka was unsure how to do this Karishma suggested finding someone who could make Lakshmi’s life difficult. Malishka recalled Balwinder and decided to contact him. After learning from Guddu that Balwinder was in a mental asylum she visited him.
At the asylum Malishka told Balwinder about Lakshmi enjoying her life with Rishi reminding him that Lakshmi was responsible for his situation. Provoked Balwinder attacked Malishka but security intervened locking him in a dark room.
Back at the Oberoi mansion Lakshmi noticed a wound on Malishka’s neck and asked if she was injured or deserved it implying that the latter was true.
Malishka shared her encounter with Balwinder with Karishma confident that he would now focus on taking Lakshmi down. In the dark room Balwinder swore vengeance on Lakshmi.
