Rajwinder expresses concern that Heer’s friendship with Teji might turn into enmity. She questions why Heer’s name is on the invitation for Kuldeep’s final prayers. Teji’s mother argues that Heer, being a lawyer, now has rights in the Atwal property. Rajwinder makes a change to the invitation and asks Suraj Singh to reprint it.
Simran asks Heer to tell a story as she can’t fall asleep. Heer narrates a tale of a princess with dreams shattered by a storm that separated her from a prince.
Gurmeet’s friend suggests that Heer might receive the entire property from her father because of his love for her. Gurmeet agrees, wanting Heer to stay in her in-laws’ house. Sartaj is angry, asserting that Atwal cannot deny Heer her rights as Kuldeep’s wife. Heer’s father plans to bring her back after the final prayers, but Gurmeet advises him to talk to Heer first to avoid Rajwinder’s anger. Jeet is upset not to find Heer’s name on the list.
Heer tells her mother she won’t go anywhere until she finds Kuldeep’s murderer. Heer tells Simrit that after the prince left, the princess got sad. Simrit suggests that a new prince might bring happiness, and it’s possible the first prince wasn’t meant for her. Jeet questions Sartaj about Heer’s omission from the final prayers’ invitation. Teji supports Heer, but Heer requests Jeet to let her handle it. An emotional song plays as Jeet leaves the house.
Teji asks her son to bring the laptop. Jarnail takes it, revealing a hidden laptop from the party with only farmhouse videos. He finds another pendrive with a video of him burning a girl and breaks it. Teji edits the card with Heer’s name.
Teji’s mother shows Rajwinder the edited card with Heer’s name on it. Sartaj instructs Teji to take care of the preparations for the final prayers. Rajwinder shows the card to Teji, claiming the right to decide whose name is included. Teji argues that Heer, as Kuldeep’s wife, deserves respect. Sartaj announces that Teji will now lead the house, challenging Rajwinder’s authority. Teji clarifies she only wants to do what is right, stating that Heer’s silence doesn’t mean they can keep testing her patience.
Heer is in tears as she looks at a card. Teji approaches and asks Heer why she’s upset. Heer wonders if Teji added her name to the card. Teji confirms it, stating that Heer is part of the family and deserves to be acknowledged. Jarnail arrives and questions Heer about what she planned to show on the projector during the reception. Heer explains that she was about to reveal pictures of a farmhouse, a surprise Kuldeep had arranged for them to celebrate the next Lohri. Jarnail says you were acting as if it’s something big. Heer says it was Kuldeep’s Idea to have some fun.
Heer reveals that before Kuldeep could share the surprise, he got shot by a gangster. She vows to find the culprit and get justice. Jarnail remembers shooting at Kuldeep. The servant informs Heer that someone has come to meet her. Teji and Heer walk out of the room. Jarnail contemplates harming Heer before she can reach the visitor.
Heer greets her friends, Payal and Gargi, who inquire about her missing an exam. They share that the exam got cancelled due to leaks and urge Heer to take it the next day to avoid wasting a year. Heer tries to deny, but Teji encourages her to attend and focus on her exam.
Parneet overhears their conversation and reports to Rajwinder, attempting to turn her against Heer. She suggests that if Heer truly felt sympathy for Kuldeep’s death, she wouldn’t be thinking about taking the exam the next day. Teji reassures Heer, stating that Kuldeep wanted her to continue her studies, and she’ll support Heer’s dreams. Rajwinder opposes, insisting Heer shouldn’t leave the house until Kuldeep’s final prayers. Teji argues that they shouldn’t sacrifice their dreams in sorrow.
Rajwinder asserts that not even her sons can defy her. Jarnail intervenes, supporting Heer’s decision to take the exam, citing Kuldeep’s dream of a law firm for her. Heer is granted permission, but Rajwinder threatens to break her hand if she attempts to write the exam. Sartaj intervenes, allowing Heer to go and scolding Rajwinder. Heer promises to unite the family, just as Kuldeep wanted. Rajwinder refuses to consider Heer part of the household. Sartaj declares that he has already accepted Heer as his daughter, granting her permission to take the exam without needing to ask anyone else.
Rajwinder accuses Sartaj of having an extramarital affair, angering him. Jarnail wishes Heer good luck. Teji and Heer recall Kuldeep, with Heer determined to fulfill his dreams and bring his murderer to justice once she becomes a lawyer.
