Vidyut asks Shikhar why he lied to Avani about giving him an expensive ring when he had actually gifted him a wallet. Shikhar replies that he never mentioned his name. Avani simply misunderstood because the ring was sent by one of his clients. Avani later realizes she misunderstood the situation.
Shikhar and Avani perform the Satyanarayana puja together. During the ritual, Krish asks Ashok why they are holding the puja. Ashok explains that it is for the family’s well-being and reminds everyone that no one should lie or betray anyone during the ceremony. His words make Shikhar feel guilty.
Anika asks Tamanna if she works with her father. Tamanna says she is Shikhar’s legal advisor and tells Anika not to call her “Aunty.” Anika asks Tamanna to help her prepare for her internship, and Tamanna happily agrees. In her heart, Tamanna thinks Anika is Shikhar’s world, and since Shikhar is her world, she will use Anika to get closer to his family.
Suman asks Anika to hold her parents’ hands during the puja. Taking advantage of the moment, Tamanna secretly holds Shikhar’s hand instead. Ritu notices everything. Suman immediately scolds Tamanna for holding Shikhar’s hand. Tamanna claims Suman asked her to do it, but Suman reminds her that she only asked the children to hold their parents’ hands. She also asks Tamanna if her parents never taught her manners. Tamanna sadly replies that she has no parents.
Suman then questions Shikhar, who lies that he thought it was Anika holding his hand and had no idea it was Tamanna. Suman says Tamanna has created a bad omen during the puja. Avani calms everyone down, saying Tamanna does not know their traditions. Tamanna apologizes for spoiling the puja and leaves. Shikhar tries to follow her, but Suman stops him and insists that he finish the puja first.
Later, Avani serves food to everyone. Suman notices that Shikhar has not eaten anything. Avani says he is upset because of how Tamanna was treated and tells Suman that she will eat only after he returns. When Shikhar finally comes home, he refuses to eat. To make him happy, Avani convinces Suman to invite Tamanna for dinner.
While packing food for Tamanna, Avani notices Anika chatting with Rudra. Anika sends him her photo, and Rudra asks her to wear the dress he bought for her. Shagun questions Anika, but she lies to cover it up. Avani accidentally sees the messages and asks who “Riya” is because she does not recognize the name. Anika lies that Riya is a new student, secretly thinking she is lucky she changed Rudra’s contact name.
Later, Avani goes to Shikhar’s office because he is not answering her calls. The manager tells her that Shikhar never came to the office. Since Tamanna is also absent, Avani assumes she is unwell and decides to visit her home to invite her for dinner.
At Tamanna’s house, Shikhar is spending time with her while she fills his mind with negative thoughts about Avani. When Avani arrives, Shikhar quickly hides. Tamanna also hides his shoes and phone so Avani will not notice anyone is there. Avani warmly invites Tamanna to dinner. Tamanna offers to make tea, but Avani insists on making it herself. While looking around, Avani notices someone hiding behind a door and grabs a pan to protect herself. Tamanna quickly tells her it is her boyfriend. Embarrassed, Avani apologizes and says she should leave. Before going, she thanks Tamanna again for helping Shikhar and invites her to dinner. Tamanna replies that she only helped her best friend, not Avani. Avani smiles and says Shikhar is her husband, so helping him means helping her family too. She also wishes Tamanna a happy marriage with her boyfriend soon. Tamanna replies that if Avani wishes for it, then it will happen. After Avani leaves, Shikhar complains that Tamanna wasted time talking to her. Tamanna says Avani spoke kindly to her. Shikhar tells Tamanna not to attend the dinner because it will be awkward around his family, and she agrees.
Elsewhere, Rudra takes photos of Anika in a modern outfit and praises her beauty. Their friends decide to go to a club. Riya teases Anika, saying her mother is too strict and even called to check on her. Riya invites everyone to her house, but Anika refuses because her family is strict. Rudra threatens to come to her house if she ignores his calls. Anika challenges him to call while she is with her mother, and he accepts.
Back home, Shikhar angrily questions Avani for inviting Tamanna to dinner. Avani asks how he found out. He says he was there and accuses her of following him. He claims Tamanna called him to say Avani invited her and reminds Avani not to interfere in his office matters. Avani explains that he refused to eat after yesterday’s incident, so she only wanted to cheer him up. Shikhar continues scolding her until Suman admits she gave Avani permission. Shikhar says Suman is supporting Avani’s mistakes too much. Avani reminds him that she tried calling before inviting Tamanna, but he never answered. Shikhar leaves the room in anger.
Meanwhile, Vidyut surprises Shagun by buying their dream house. He promises that they will live happily there while he continues caring for his parents. He also gives her a handbag. Shagun complains that it looks cheap and shows him a more expensive one. Vidyut says he cannot afford it now but promises to buy it later. Avani then calls and invites them to dinner, and Shagun happily accepts.
That evening, Tamanna arrives with a gift for Avani. She says it will bring more romance into Avani and Shikhar’s marriage and asks her to place it in their bedroom. At the same time, Anika leaves after Rudra calls her. She is shocked to find him inside her room. Tamanna notices them together and helps Rudra hide. Soon, neighbours arrive and inform the family that a thief has entered the house. Tamanna lies that no one is inside. Although Avani is suspicious, Shikhar immediately believes Tamanna.
During dinner, Tamanna deliberately drops Avani’s plate. While Avani goes to get another one, Tamanna sits beside Shikhar. Shagun jokes that Tamanna has taken Avani’s place, but Suman quickly says no one can replace Avani. Avani also smiles and says sitting beside Shikhar does not mean anyone can take her place. Tamanna secretly thinks that while Avani has the chair, she has Shikhar’s heart.
Tamanna refuses to eat because the food is oily and full of calories. Suman tells her they do not eat such food every day and explains that Avani always takes good care of the family’s health. Shikhar adds that Tamanna usually eats only healthy food. Suman jokingly asks why she did not bring her lunchbox and tells her to eat the meal for one day. Tamanna finally agrees.
While eating, Suman notices Shikhar using his left hand. The real reason is that Tamanna is secretly holding his right hand under the table. Shikhar lies that his right hand is hurting. Avani offers to help him, but he refuses. When Avani bends down to pick up her fallen spoon, Tamanna quickly lets go of his hand.
Tamanna later asks Shikhar if he knows all of Anika’s friends. He says Avani knows all of them and confidently adds that Anika never talks to boys. Tamanna immediately asks how he can be so sure. Before the conversation continues, Anika starts asking Tamanna about her handbag, changing the topic.
Avani then serves carrot halwa. Shikhar happily praises it, saying no one cooks like Avani and that her halwa is his favourite. Tamanna refuses to eat it because it is made with ghee and calls it unhealthy. Avani smiles and says she gives her family ghee every day because it keeps them strong. Tamanna proudly says she drinks protein shakes instead. Shagun jokingly suggests a strength competition between ghee and protein shakes and asks them to arm wrestle. Shikhar says Tamanna works out every day, so she will definitely win.
Suman says they should still compete. The family cheers for Avani, and to everyone’s surprise, she wins the arm-wrestling match. Tamanna is frustrated and decides to leave. Shikhar offers to drop her home, but she refuses. Avani insists that she should not travel alone and asks Shikhar to drop her safely.
The next day, Anika tells Avani she wants to surprise Shikhar at his office. Avani decides to go with her. At the office, Tamanna notices them arriving and secretly pays the security guard to stop them. The guard insults Avani, thinking she has come to ask for donations. Shikhar gets angry with the guard and introduces Avani as his wife. Anika apologizes and says she only came to see the office with Tamanna. She later asks Tamanna not to tell Shikhar about Rudra, and Tamanna promises to keep her secret. After exchanging phone numbers, Tamanna decides to use Anika against Avani.
Once they are alone, Shikhar scolds Avani for coming to his office wearing what he calls a dirty saree. He says the security guard misunderstood her because of the way she looked. Later at home, he humiliates her again and warns her never to come to his office without permission. Avani apologizes while Suman supports her. She later massages Shikhar’s leg until he falls asleep.
Suddenly, Tamanna calls him and sweetly calls him “baby.” Avani answers the phone and asks who is calling. Tamanna quickly disconnects. Shikhar wakes up, snatches his phone from Avani, and scolds her for touching it. Suspicious, Avani finally confronts him.
