Shalu comes to Lakshmi and apologizes, saying she did not know about the incident. She tells Lakshmi that she learned from Mukesh that Rohan was injured. She did not know which hospital he was in, but Ayush later called and told her everyone had returned home, so she came straight here. Lakshmi shares that a lot happened at the hospital. She reveals that Rohan’s blood group did not match Rishi’s or Malishka’s. Shalu gets shocked. Lakshmi confirms that what she thought is true — Rohan is adopted. Rishi walks over to them and asks Shalu when she arrived. Shalu says she just came to check on Rohan and then leaves.
Rishi apologizes to Lakshmi. He says he should have been there when Rohan fell and when the family was scolding her. He regrets not stopping them. Rishi asks what she is thinking. Lakshmi says she wants to tell him but she cannot trust him right now.
Shalu sits talking with Rohan and Parvati. Lakshmi brings Malpova. Rohan and Parvati both ask her to feed them by hand. Shalu watches quietly and thinks Lakshmi sees her own son in Rohan. She leaves without saying anything. Parvati notices and thinks Shalu is upset because they did not invite her to eat with them. She runs after Shalu to offer her some Malpova.
Rohan asks Lakshmi if she remembers her promise. Lakshmi says she will help him find his real mother. Rohan asks if she knows why his mother left him. Lakshmi replies it is impossible that his mother left him willingly. She must have been in a very difficult situation when she lost him.
Malishka bumps into Anushka and gets angry. She lashes out at her before walking away. Anushka follows and tells Malishka to stop taking out her anger on her. Anushka reminds her that Parvati’s court hearing is in a few days and the judgment is clear. She advises Malishka to do something before it is too late. When Anushka tries to leave, Malishka grabs her hand. Anushka quickly apologizes and leaves when Kiran approaches.
Kiran asks if Malishka is okay. Malishka says nothing is fine because Neelam decided Lakshmi must stay away from Rohan. But later Neelam allowed her to meet Rohan because Parvati supported her. Malishka blames Parvati for all her problems. Kiran advises her not to do anything rash, but Malishka says it is already too late.
Malishka meets Ashish, Sonal’s boyfriend. She shows him Parvati’s photo and tells him to kidnap the girl. Ashish agrees, takes the advance payment, and leaves.
Kiran visits Harleen, who notices she is lost in thought and asks if it is about Malishka. Kiran confirms. Harleen says people who look for happiness in others often cannot find it themselves. There may be no solution for Malishka’s situation. Kiran regrets coming and leaves.
Rishi tells Ayush how Lakshmi treated him. Shalu arrives. Parvati asks why she did not eat the Malpova. Parvati explains Shalu got upset because they did not invite her. Shalu denies it but eventually agrees to join. Ayush and Rishi also sit and eat Malpova together.
Karishma tells Kiran they are going to the temple tomorrow since Rohan is back home safe. Parvati overhears and tells Neelam she also wants to go. Neelam agrees, and Parvati gets excited.
Rishi comes to Lakshmi and asks why she is always upset with him. Lakshmi says even though he talks to her every day, he never says the right thing at the right time. Rishi tells her to ask him whatever she wants to know. Lakshmi replies she does not need confirmation for what she already knows.
Malishka enters Rohan’s room and asks Rishi how he is doing. Lakshmi says Rohan is sleeping. She tells Malishka to stay beside him because he needs his mother right now. Malishka gets angry and tells Lakshmi not to instruct her. She asks Lakshmi to stay away from her son. Lakshmi says if Malishka will not stay with him, then she will, and leaves. Rishi follows her.
Shalu calls Lakshmi and asks what color dress she will wear tomorrow. Lakshmi asks why. Shalu reminds her that Navaratri starts tomorrow and they must wear different colors each day. Lakshmi says she forgot. Shalu also tells her that Neelam announced everyone is going to the temple tomorrow. Lakshmi says she wants to pray because she promised Rohan she would help find his real mother.
The next morning, the entire Oberoi family goes to the temple. The Pandit says today is the first day of Navaratri and whatever they wish for in front of the Goddess, they will receive. Lakshmi prays to find Rohan’s real mother. Rohan tells Lakshmi he will also pray for the same. She agrees.
Harleen notices there are no fresh flowers in the Pooja ki Thaal and asks Lakshmi to bring some. Lakshmi leaves to get them.
Meanwhile, Ashish and his friend wait outside Parvati’s school to kidnap her. Ashish calls Malishka to check if Parvati has left for school. Malishka tells him Parvati is at the temple with them and instructs him to come there instead. Ashish agrees.
Malishka approaches Lakshmi. Lakshmi says she does not want to talk because Malishka only speaks negative things. She asks her to stop at least today since it is an auspicious Navaratri day. Malishka argues and tells Lakshmi to stay away from Rohan. Lakshmi refuses and says she considers Rohan her son in her heart. No matter what Malishka does, she will not stay away from him. Lakshmi walks away. Kiran watches the exchange from a distance.
Kiran reminds Malishka how Lakshmi used to depend on her and never spoke rudely before. Malishka says that was in the past. Kiran tries to make her realize she holds no value in the Oberoi family, but Malishka ignores her. Malishka then receives Ashish’s call and confirms the new plan. She tells Kiran she will not reveal her plan to anyone this time.
