Reet gets a call from her boss Shekhar who tells her that they have video proof against her brother and they will need to air it soon. Reet says just give me some time to find the truth and if she can’t then they can air that video. He says fine, you have some hours. She ends the call. Reet asks Dhruv what happened last night? her mother says you can’t doubt him, you know he isn’t like that.
Reet says I have seen that video. Dhruv says he didn’t drink any alcohol but maybe his juice was spiked, he says he would never molest a girl even in a drunk state. Reet says I have to talk to Unnati to know her side of the story. Her mother says her brother didn’t talk to Dhruv and beat him up badly. Reet says she is a victim so I need to talk to her.
Sharda tells Raghav to calm down and forget about that video as the groom’s family is here. Raghav meets with the groom’s family. Unnati comes there and greets them. The groom’s mother says they will do the ritual now.
Reet comes to Raghav’s house and hides. The groom’s mother is about to make Unnati wear chunri but Raghav stops them and says he needs to tell them the truth as he doesn’t want this relationship to be based on lies. He says Unnati went to a party last night and an incident happened there. He shows them the video, the groom’s family is shocked seeing that. The groom’s father says this is a shameless act and you all tried to hide it. This girl was all over that guy. Raghav tells them to shut up and get lost. The groom’s father says no guy from their community will marry her, he leaves with his family.
Sharda tells Raghav that he shouldn’t have done this. Raghav says I don’t want relationships to be built on lies. A guard comes there and says a girl has entered their house. Reet comes there and says its me. She says I want to talk to Unnati. Raghav tells his guards to take her away. Reet tells Unnati to tell her the truth.
Raghav says she must be here to blackmail her. Mohit says these cheap people want to trap rich people in a scandal to get money. Reet says enough, I am here to know the truth. She asks Unnati to tell the truth as some lives at stake. She asks if her brother did something wrong with her? She says if he did then I will get him arrested so just tell me the truth. You don’t need to be scared. Raghav tries to stop her but Unnati says enough.. she says Dhruv didn’t do anything and it was just an accident. Reet thanks her.
Raghav says my sister is innocent and might be pressurized. Sharda says the truth is that the video is leaked and no one will marry Unnati now. Dhruv comes there and says he will marry her. Raghav says you can’t even stand on your feet and want to marry my sister? you have no status to be near her. I will not spare you. He grabs him. Dhruv says Unnati’s honor got destroyed because of him so he is ready to take her responsibility.
Raghav tells him to get lost. Dhruv asks Unnati if she will marry him? Reet tells him to stop it and apologizes to them. She starts taking him away but Raghav tells them that they won’t forget his name, he won’t spare them. Reet takes Dhruv from there.
Reet scolds Dhruv and says he shouldn’t have come here. Dhruv says you take me as a kid but I can take my decisions now. Reet says that Raghav is mental and can do anything with you. Dhruv says a girl’s life got destroyed because of me so I have to make it right even if he kills me. He leaves from there. Reet calls Shekhar and says Dhruv is innocent, the girl told this herself. She says don’t play that video. He says okay so she thanks him.
Raghav breaks things around in the house. Sharda tells him to calm down and says Unnati will get married. Raghav says it will take some time to find a good guy for her now. Sharda says you always wanted a guy for her who has honor, manners and stands up for the truth. We found that guy today, he stood up to you and said he would accept Unnati. Raghav says you want me to marry Unnati to a guy who destroyed her character? I never expected to hear this from you, maybe because you aren’t blood-related. Sharda is shocked hearing that and says I have raised Unnati like a mother.
Raghav asks why is she saying that then? Sharda says that guy did a mistake but Unnati said he didn’t do anything wrong with her. He might not be rich but you can take care of that and can make him a prince, he does have manners. Raghav says never, I will never choose that guy. Sharda says no guy will agree to marry Unnati in this condition, your money can’t wipe off this stain from her character.
You are acting like your mother today. Raghav stops her. She says your mother was selfish and never heard others just like you are doing. Dhruv is the best guy in this condition, just try to see that. She leaves from there. Unnati hides and hears all that. Raghav is angry.
Reet is worried and recalls Raghav’s threat. Her mother comes there and asks if everything is fine? Reet cries and says no, Dhruv has challenged a very egotistical man, he won’t let him live peacefully. Her mother says his admission got cancelled so he can’t leave. Reet says I have to send him at any cost.
Scene
Raghav is standing alone and recalls everything that happened and how Sharda proposed to get Unnati married to Dhruv. Unnati comes there in a bridal dress. He asks what’s this? she says you have seen this dream for years, you bought all these for me so I am ready now to get married. He says you don’t need to marry that Dhruv, I will find a good guy for you with power of my money.
She says I want a life partner and not a toy that you can buy, whoever marries me might blame me for that video but if I marry Dhruv then at least he will respect me as a partner. Raghav says don’t. She says I am asking you to let me live my life respectfully, I have never asked for anything so please listen to this for me.
In the morning, Sharda gets all her cooks bald.
Raghav comes there and asks what happened? She says she found a hair in food and she can’t risk his food so they had to be punished. Raghav smiles and says you are so protective of us. He says lets go to Dhruv’s house with shagun. She says really? he nods.
Reet tells Dhruv that he should pack his bags and leave for Delhi. He says what about Unnati? she says you tried but they denied your offer so forget about it and think about your life. Their mom calls them.
Raghav and Sharda come to Reet’s house with heaps of gifts. Reet asks what is this? Sharda says we thought about Dhruv’s proposal and we accept it. She asks Dhruv’s mother to accept this shagun for their wedding. Raghav says its not for Dhruv and Unnati but its for Reet. All are shocked hearing that. He says this marriage proposal is for Reet and I. He says this marriage will be a guarantee that this family and Dhruv will take care of Unnati’s happiness, she will come to this house when Reet comes to my house as her guarantee card. Reet gets angry and says you think you are in a shop that you buy me in a deal? Sharda says its not a deal, its aatta-satta. Its an old tradition where two marriages happen between a family. Reet says I am an educated girl so I won’t agree to this.
Raghav says Unnati will marry Dhruv only if you agree to this proposal. Dhruv says enough, I care about my sister too. Reet says you want to do swapping right? she brings some ration and says you can take this as a guarantee. Sharda says don’t insult us, we just want these marriages to happen. Reet says we will keep Unnati happy but we won’t accept her in this condition.
Raghav says you will mary me at any cost. Reet says I won’t marry you even if you are the last guy on earth. She asks him to leave and turns around, Reet slips but Raghav holds her. They both stare at each other. Reet tells him to collect his ego and get lost, she tells him to not hit her brother ever again. He glares at her and says you will regret this. She says time will decide that. Raghav says your bad time starts now, he angrily leaves from there with Sharda.
Scene
Raghav comes home so Unnati asks if they said yes to the marriage? she asks if they didn’t send any shagun for her? Sharda is angry and says Raghav spoiled everything, we got insulted by them. Unnati says why? Dhruv said he wanted to marry me. She says it isn’t fault, Raghav was at fault because he proposed aatta-satta to them. He told them that Reet has to marry him as a guarantee so they said no. Raghav says Unnati matters to me the most and I need a guarantee. Sharda says if you wanted then you could have asked Dhruv to live with us after marriage. Raghav says he wouldn’t be respected then. Unnati tells them to stop it, she cries and leaves. Sharda tells him that he broke her heart. Raghav says I will find a way better guy for her. Sharda says you are too confident.
Reet is angry and tells her family that she won’t spare that Raghav. Her cousin Smitha tells her that he is very rich and handsome so she should consider him. Her chachi says every girl is dreaming to marry him and their lives will change, she says Reet doesn’t have a good job and nor a father around. Chacha tells her to shut up and says she is our daughter. Chachi says we should think its a good proposal so its for her benefit. Reet says enough, its about my self-respect. Her mother says she is right, that guy wants to use her as a guarantee card. Chachi says he does want to marry her and he is rich which will change our lives so we shouldn’t deny it. Reet says I know life is tough but this man’s bank balance will never equate to her self-respect, I will never marry him.
