Reet says the truth wins in the end but its a difficult path to follow because the truth is usually stifled.
Some journalists are reporting about a cow. Reet says the cow will tell the truth herself. She says 2 brothers are fighting over her so whoever the cow picks will own her. She makes the brothers stand and call out to the cow. The cow doesn’t move so another journalist taunts her that she can’t spice up the news. Reet says I am not here for that, she tells a brother to sing the song he used to sing for the cow. The man sings it and the cow runs to him and all clap for them.
Raghav Suryavanshi is driving with his entourage and calls someone, he says even time follows him so he will reach there on time to finalise the business deal. He arrives at the site where Reet and others are reporting. Raghav’s manager tells them to move aside but Reet says we won’t so you can leave. Raghav comes out of his car and says they have to move. Reet stares at him and says this is not some drama, we were fighting for truth now. Raghav says I am getting late, he asks his manager Mohit to give them money so they move away. Reet says you can’t buy truth like this.
Raghav says your reporting is cheap and can be bought easily. Reet says people can’t be bought. Raghav throws money at her and all people rush to catch notes. Reet tries to stop them but they all move away and clear the path for Raghav. He sits in his car and starts driving away. Reet runs behind him and mistakenly drops cow dung bucket on his car. She tells him that he can clean up the car with his money now. She leaves from there. Raghav looks on.
Reet comes to her friend Virat and asks if he can drop her home but he says I have to leave now, he goes from there. A journalist Arvind comes to Reet and asks why is she wasting time with her current news channel, she can join theirs and get more money. Reet says I work for Shekhar because I like it there and he should focus on his work. Arvind says what about your father? he died in jail while claiming he was telling the truth but no one listened to him so you can’t change society like this. Reet is hurt hearing that.
Reet’s brother Dhruv calls Reet and tells her that he got admitted in a college so come home fast. Reet takes a lift from a truck driver. She sits in the truck filled with flowers and the man tells her that his boss got these for his sister. Reet mistakenly drops milk on the flowers that she was taking home. Reet apologizes and gets down from the truck. Reet says this man must love his brother a lot.
The truck filled with flowers arrives at Raghav’s house. Raghav comes there and checks the flowers, he asks why are they smelling bad? The man apologizes to him and says some girl dropped milk on them. Raghav says its good you accepted your mistake, he tells him to get new flowers for his sister Unnati. I want to decorate my sister’s life without any dark spots. Raghav looks at the truck and gets triggered with ‘mom’ written on it. He recalls how his mom left him in his childhood. He takes a hammer and starts hitting the truck. All rush to him. A girl rushes to her Bua Sharda and asks for help. Sharda comes out and stops Raghav. She finds his hand bleeding and gets worried.
Scene 2
Reet comes home and bothers Dhruv. She congratulates him and prays to Mata Rani for his admission. Dhruv says he will study in Delhi and study hard. Chacha comes there and greets them. Reet comes to her cousin Smitha and asks her to help Dhruv in packing, she gifts her a phone cover to bribe her. Reet’s mother comes there and tells Reet to not splurge. Reet says don’t worry, I have earned it. Her mother says you help Chacha in running the house with your salary. Reet says don’t worry about it, I will manage. Reet gets a message and tells Dhruv about the college farewell party, She asks him to go before he leaves. Dhruv says I want to spend time with you before leaving, Reet gets sad and leaves.
Reet cries alone while eating sweets.Sharda cleans up Raghav’s hand and says you should let past go, when you hurt yourself then I feel I failed your mother and was just a Bua. Raghav says don’t compare yourself to my mother, you have made Unnati and me live with love. Sharda says just focus on Unnati’s marriage proposal.
Unnati is getting ready and wear a modern short dress. Bhabhi tells her that she can’t go out like this. Unnati says I am going for my college farewell party. Bhabhi says Raghav won’t let her leave in this dress. Unnati says I want to do this and convince Raghav also.
Reet’s mother asks if she is done crying? Reet says I am just happy for him.
Mohit tells Raghav that his suit had cow dung so what should he do? Raghav says keep it in my room so I never forget that girl who gave me this stain.
In Raghav’s house, Bhabhi prepare for lunch and Divya calls everyone there. Sharda’s husband Phupaji tries to eat sweets but she stops him because the doctor has denied him. Raghav comes there and says let him have some sweets, its for Unnati’s marriage proposal so let him have it. Sharda says I will allow him only because Raghav said so. They all sit to have food. Raghav asks Prateep what has he prepared for his new business? Prateep says I will show it to you later on. Unnati comes there wearing a lehenga and twirls around.
Raghav smiles at her and says she shouldn’t have grown up so fast. She says then I shouldn’t get married. Raghav says I never wanted you to leave my house. He asks why did she apply nail paints? she usually do so when she wants to go to a party. Sharda tells her to not do anything that will impact her meeting with the groom’s family tomorrow. Unnati nods and leaves.
Suman Chachi tells Reet’s mom that someone ate all sweets. Reet is the culprit but Dhruv makes Suman believes that she ate it before. Dhruv goes to get ready for the party.
Dhruv comes to the farewell party and meets with his friends. Unnati comes there and meets with her friends. The flashback shows how she escaped the house by jumping from her room. Her friend tells her that Dhruv got admission in a big college in Delhi. Unnati is surprised to hearing that and goes from there.
Dhruv’s friends ask him to have alcohol but he says I don’t drink that so his friend offers him orange juice and he drinks it.
Reet’s mother finds her admission letter and confronts her, she says you got admission in a big college in Mumbai but you never told me? you could have studied there but you want Dhruv to go and study? Reet says because I am here for my family, Dhruv will fulfil my dream of studying. Her mother cries and says you sacrificed all your dreams for this family. Reet says my dream is to become a big journalist and fight for the truth which my father lost his life for.
Unnati is drinking and partying with her friends. Otherside Dhruv gets dizzy after drinking spiked juice. He bumps into Unnati and the drink spills on her dress. He apologizes to her, she angrily leaves from there. Dhrvu follows her and mistakenly tears her dress while trying to stop her. Unnati is shocked and tries to move away but falls back and he falls over her. They are both close to each other and a girl makes their video who doesn’t like Unnati.
Scene 2
In the morning, Sharda comes to Unnati’s room and shouts that she went to a party last night and her video went viral with a guy? she shows her the video in which it looks like Unnati and Dhruv were intimate. Sharda says everyone has seen this, Raghav will find this out soon. Raghav comes there and glares at her. Unnati is scared of him but he asks if she is fine? She says it wasn’t like that, he was drunk but I was safe. He asks who was he and where would I find him?
Reet and her mom bring Dhruv to the bus station. He asks if she can live without him? She says don’t worry about me, just take care. Dhruv hugs her and goes in the bus. Reet tells him to take care. The bus goes away with him. Reet and her mother start leaving but Raghav arrives there with his men and stops the bus. He kicks Dhruv out of it and starts beating him up badly. Reet is shocked seeing that and runs to him. Raghav says he won’t go anywhere. He is about to punch him but Reet stands in front of him and shouts how dare you touch my brother.
He shouts how dare he touch my sister? The bus starts driving away, Dhruv tries to catch it but Raghav stops him and beats him more. Dhruv asks which girl? I didn’t touch anyone. Raghav beats him up badly while his mother is crying and begging him to stop. Reet tries to stop him and asks why is he beating him up? Raghav shows her the video and she is shocked seeing that.
Unnati is crying but Divya tells her that she has to get ready for meeting the groom. Sharda comes there and tells her to stop crying, its good that the groom’s family hasn’t seen that video.
Raghav tells Reet that he will kill her brother today. Sharda calls him and asks him to come home fast as the groom’s family is coming soon. He glares at Reet and leaves from there. Reet rushes to her brother and hugs him.
