Sunny arrives home in tears. Teji asks him how he got hurt. Simrit explains that Rahul accidentally hit Sunny while they were playing. Rajwinder joins them and suggests that Teji should head to the factory while she takes care of the kids, but Teji refuses to leave Sunny in pain. Simrit remarks that Sunny didn’t retaliate, calling him a coward. Sunny admits he wanted to hit Rahul but refrained because his father intervened, unlike him, as he doesn’t have a father, and Rahul mocked him for it.
Rajwinder asks Teji if she realizes the importance of having a father figure for her kids and insists she should go meet Jeet at the factory. Heer arrives at the factory, and the security guard feels it’s time to do his duty. Jeet senses Heer’s presence around him. Heer enters the same room where Jeet is but misses seeing him. She wonders if he’s already left for home. Despite being in the same room, they miss each other, but Heer accidentally hurts herself on a sharp object. Jeet worries and helps her sit, asking why she’s there.
Heer confesses to Jeet that she made a mistake by hiding Beant’s kidnapping from him. Jeet scolds her for taking such risks alone. Heer agrees, and Jeet wonders why she’s not arguing but simply agreeing with everything. Heer explains she feels nervous now but initially was excited to confess to him. She tells Jeet that he’s the one she thinks of in every difficult situation, revealing her feelings. Before she can say more, they hear the sound of the door locking.
The security guard locks the door from outside, trapping Heer and Jeet inside. Teji arrives at the factory but finds it locked. She tries calling Jeet but can’t reach him, assuming he’s already left. Suddenly, there’s a power outage. Rajwinder is surprised to learn about the factory being closed and locked. Jeet tries to call for help and accidentally falls, with Heer falling on top of him and her veil flying over them.
Jeet returns Heer’s veil to her. Rajwinder scolds the person responsible for locking Jeet alone. However, he insists that Jeet is locked with his daughter-in-law. Heer begins coughing and asks for water. Jeet tries to find some for her. As Jeet cleans her face, Heer feels captivated looking at him. They share a moment as they gaze at each other, with a song playing in the background. Heer tells Jeet that she couldn’t say what she wanted to, but before she can continue, Rajwinder and Teji arrive, with Rajwinder announcing Teji and Jeet’s marriage plans.
Rajwinder emotionally blackmails Jeet, reminding him that he’s going to become a father figure for the kids and bring happiness back to the family. Heer is taken aback, as is Rajwinder herself. Jeet holds Rajwinder first, preventing him from speaking to Heer. He realizes he needs to clarify to Heer that he hasn’t agreed to marriage yet. In the car, Heer moves to sit beside Jeet, but Rajwinder insists she sits at the back and lets Teji sit beside Jeet, leaving Heer heartbroken.
Rajwinder instructs Heer to go to her room. Sunny rushes to Jeet to show him his wound, and Jeet hugs him to comfort him. Sunny tells Jeet that Rahul had hit him, so Jeet says he will scold Rahul. Rajwinder purposely lets Heer overhear that now the kids are most important to Jeet and no one else. Heer feels hurt and runs away. Jeet reflects on Heer’s attempts to express her feelings to him and wonders if Heer has indeed fallen in love with him. Heer recalls recent events and cries alone.
Teji confronts Heer, asking why she’s shocked about the marriage and if Jeet didn’t tell her anything. Teji reveals that she has decided to marry Jeet for the sake of the kids as he loves them like a father. She explains that Rajwinder advised her, so she proposed to him. Heer questions if Jeet has already agreed, but Teji says he hasn’t accepted yet, though he hasn’t rejected either, so she feels he might agree to marry her. Heer cries, lamenting why she realized her love so late, only to have him taken away.
Gurmeet sneaks into the kitchen to find food, but Jasmin informs him that she hasn’t cooked anything due to lack of grains. She and Beant Singh refuse to listen to him, insisting he must earn if he wants to eat. Jasmin and Navjot leave for the Gurdwara. Sartaj believes Heer may have confessed to Jeet and eagerly anticipates Jeet’s reaction. Rajwinder stops him and explains about Teji and Jeet’s marriage for the kids’ sake, as she believes no one else can be a better father figure, and Teji has agreed to it.
Sartaj expresses confusion about the situation, and Rajwinder mentions that Heer knows about it too. Sartaj wants to speak to Heer, but Rajwinder emotionally manipulates him, urging him to allow Teji and Jeet to marry, as if they marry someone else, their grandchildren will also leave them. Heer prays in the Gurdwara, contemplating how long she has to sacrifice for others, realizing she must do it again for the kids’ sake. Jasmin continues to persuade Heer to confess her feelings.
