Jarnail is tied to a chair. Rajwinder tells Jarnail that she understands his thoughts. She knows he’s hopeful that if Sartaj dies, no one will send him to the police. She reminds him that she’s his mother and she understands his way of thinking very well. Jarnail expresses his love for Kuldeep and insists that he didn’t kill him intentionally. Rajwinder offers him water and assures him that she’s not as bad as the Atwal family portrays her to be.
Jeet insists that he can never deceive his mother. He emotionally pleads with Rajwinder to save him, expressing his fear of going to jail. He suggests that Rajwinder should shoot him instead of letting him go to jail. He tells her that once he’s gone, they’ll bring Jeet back home. Jeet urges her to either kill him or save him from going to jail.
Beant expresses his concern to Jasmin about Heer’s safety after the strange incident at the party. He also mentions Sartaj introducing Jeet to everyone as if he’s his own son, despite knowing Jeet’s love for Heer.
Meanwhile, Heer is about to call someone when Rajwinder intervenes, thinking she needs to stop Heer from calling the police, and disconnects the call. Rajwinder urges Heer to forget everything that happened as if it were a nightmare. Heer joins her hands and begs Rajwinder for forgiveness on behalf of Jeet.
Rajwinder breaks down in tears, questioning if taking a child away from its mother isn’t a crime. She mentions losing one son already and not wanting to lose another. She pleads with Heer to delete the video of Jeet’s confession. Rajwinder claims she knows Jeet well and believes he can’t lie to her. However, Heer insists that Jeet is a murderer and can’t be allowed to live normally at home.
Rajwinder promises to keep an eye on Jeet to prevent him from committing another crime. Heer argues that no one can guarantee the actions of someone like Jeet. She recalls how Jeet ruined her life by killing her husband shortly after their marriage. Rajwinder argues that punishing Jeet won’t bring Kuldeep back. Heer mentions that she’s already informed the police about everything. Rajwinder suggests it’s not too late and urges Heer to retract her statement when the police arrive, but Heer refuses to comply.
Heer remembers Sartaj begging her to bring Jeet back home and recalls the moment of Kuldeep’s death. She also thinks about Rajwinder’s willingness to accept Jeet. Heer struggles with her conscience, trying to decide what to do. Suddenly, she hears Teji screaming about Sartaj’s deteriorating health. Jeet regrets his mother’s humiliation and finds Beant behind him. Heer tells Rajwinder that she’ll let Jeet go in exchange for Rajwinder accepting him.
Beant Singh asks Jeet if he’s found out who his father is. Jeet tries to dodge the question and invites Beant to sit down. Beant mentions he came to ask about Heer as he couldn’t reach her but overheard Jeet talking about his father. Jeet refuses to reveal his father’s identity. Then, Rajwinder arrives and declares that Jeet is Sartaj Singh Atwal’s son, making him a part of the Atwal family.
Rajwinder informs Jeet that he’s to come home with her and stay at Atwal Mansion from now on. Jeet recalls Rajwinder’s harsh words about his mother and himself. He questions Rajwinder about her sudden change of heart, reminding her of her previous insults about his legitimacy. Rajwinder pleads with Jeet, saying that if he doesn’t come home, she might lose her husband too. She reveals that Sartaj has suffered a major heart attack and is repeatedly mentioning Jeet’s name in his semi-conscious state. Teji informs Heer that Sartaj also has a fever, so Heer goes to get an ice pack. Heer realizes she needs to keep Jarnail safe from the police so that Rajwinder can bring Jeet home, otherwise Sartaj’s health will worsen.
As Heer hears the police van’s siren approaching, Rajwinder tearfully expresses that they’re running out of time. Jeet is ready to go with Rajwinder but hesitates, remembering her previous insults towards Santosh. He refuses to return to Atwal Mansion. Rajwinder worries that if something happens to Sartaj before Jeet arrives, her deal with Heer will be void, and she won’t be able to save Jarnail. Rajwinder promises Jeet a fresh start and implores him to come with her.
The police question Heer about Jarnail’s whereabouts as she had claimed to have locked him inside. Rajwinder overhears and interrupts, scolding Heer for involving the police. Heer explains that she was misleading the police to allow Jarnail to escape. But Rajwinder wonders why Heer even mentioned that Jarnail was still at home. She fears that once Jarnail flees, he’ll be on the run forever. Heer agrees to help Jarnail escape but can’t forgive him entirely. Rajwinder suggests they work together to help Jarnail escape and asks Heer for her plan.
Guldasta and Beant Singh persuade Jeet not to abandon his father and urge him to go and save him. Rajwinder agrees to follow Heer’s plan. In a room, Jarnail tries to reach the window himself. The police enter the Atwal house. Rajwinder unties Jarnail and tells him about Heer’s plan. Teji and Heer try to confuse the police to buy Jarnail some time. Rajwinder instructs Jarnail to flee far from the city and avoid getting caught by the police. Jarnail dons a veil and leaves the room with Rajwinder. They successfully deceive the police, but Jarnail accidentally collides with Jeet.
Jeet enters Atwal mansion and accidentally collides with Jarnail. To distract him, Heer quickly tells Jeet to go and meet Sartaj to make him feel better. The police arrive and discover only ropes in the room, indicating that Jarnail has escaped. Jeet suspects Rajwinder’s involvement, but Heer explains that she called Jeet. The police suspect Teji, but she alibis herself, swearing on Sartaj and her children. The inspector orders his constables to search around the house, and Jeet offers to help.
Heer realizes that Jarnail might evade the police but not Jeet, so she urges him to go to Sartaj first. Rajwinder hopes Jarnail leaves before the police seal the main door and goes to check on him. Jeet finds Sartaj murmuring for him to forgive him and meet him before he dies. When Jeet announces his presence, Sartaj weakly embraces him, pleading not to leave again. Heer feels her sacrifice is worthwhile seeing Sartaj and Jeet together, finally having someone to call his own.
Heer gives medicine to Jeet to feed Sartaj and apologizes for what Jarnail and Rajwinder said. Sartaj asks Jeet to promise never to leave him again. The inspector interrupts, informing them of Jarnail’s escape. Meanwhile, Jarnail hides in the garden, trying to evade the constables, then sits inside a car. The police request Jarnail’s latest photo to make posters.
Rajwinder threatens Heer to help Jarnail, or she’ll separate Sartaj and Jeet again. Heer tries to distract the police by suggesting they search outside, but Jeet advises searching inside and informs the inspector of Jarnail’s past aggression towards Heer. Heer feels guilty for deceiving Jeet and tells Rajwinder to prevent the police from entering her room. She creates a rope from veils and places it near the window, fooling the police into searching the backyard.
Jarnail starts the car, alerting the police. Teji offers to care for Sartaj, while Jeet resolves to stop Jarnail. Heer worries about how to stop Jeet, knowing he won’t understand the deal’s terms. Before Heer can intervene, Jeet leaves to find Jarnail. She prays that Jarnail evades capture, or Jeet will lose his father again. Rajwinder also prays for Jarnail’s safety. The police continue pursuing Jarnail, who believes he’ll be safe once he crosses the border. However, he meets with an accident. Heer and Rajwinder are shocked by the news of Jarnail’s death.
