Heer is at the Gurdwara, praying for Jeet’s protection. She expresses her wish for him not to see her unhappy, even though she feels she’s caused him pain for a lifetime. Jasmin approaches Heer and takes her away. Sartaj becomes emotional thinking about Jeet and asks Santosh for forgiveness for not being able to do anything for their son. He explains that years ago, he lost a love battle, just like his son now, but he feels helpless. Rajwinder enters and questions whom he is apologizing to. Jasmin asks Heer what her answer would be if Jeet confessed to her alone.
Rajwinder asks Sartaj why he is so protective of Jeet and brought him home. Sartaj explains that it’s because Jeet saved his life from a fire. Jasmin reminds Heer that she herself mentioned having dreams about Jeet. Heer admits that dreams cannot be reality, and she has accepted herself as Kuldeep’s widow. Sartaj lies to Rajwinder, claiming that Jeet is nothing to him, but he is someone’s son too. Heer ends up telling Jasmin that the bullet that killed Kuldeep was meant for her.
Heer expresses that she doesn’t want Jeet’s life to be in danger, so it’s better if he stays away from her. She questions why only Jeet should bear the burden of their friendship when both of them were friends. Jasmin tells Heer that even if she cannot accept Jeet’s love, she should not lose his friendship. She encourages Heer to go and meet Jeet, or else he may leave forever. Navjot ends up telling Beant that before Heer’s marriage, Jeet wanted to confess his feelings to her, but she stopped him. She feels Heer is unlucky to have become a widow at such a young age.
Guldasta requests Jeet to eat something, as he’s been cleaning the same place for hours without eating since last night. He feels sure that Jeet is missing Heer. Jeet gets angry with Guldasta for saying so. Guldasta cries, feeling helpless for not being able to do anything when Jeet is in pain. Jeet says it was his fault to have such high dreams, but now he can move on as he has no hopes left. Heer arrives, and Jeet tells her that she shouldn’t have come, apologizing for how things turned out, but insisting that what he said was true. He confesses his feelings to her again and asks her to leave. Heer tells Jeet that he knows well what he means to her. Jeet says his misunderstanding has been cleared. Heer explains that she has a burden on herself, so she cannot move on yet, but she doesn’t want to lose him as a friend. Jeet requests time to get back to how they were. Rajwinder asks Heer where she went and she shouts at her.
Jasmin and Heer were watching the pendrive with photographs from the marriage rituals. Heer remembered receiving calls from someone who wanted to inform her about Naina’s incident. On the other hand, Jasmin recalled when Heer was getting mehendi applied and her phone was with her, she kept receiving calls from an unknown number who repeatedly wanted to talk to Heer. Heer tried to find the number from her call history but got confused, so Jasmin suggested asking Jeet about it.
Heer refused to involve Jeet after what had happened and mentioned how she had promised Rajwinder not to talk to Jeet. Jasmin advised Heer not to do so and suddenly started experiencing abdomen pain. Heer made her rest, thinking she couldn’t stress her out. Teji questioned Tanya why she was still trying to contact Jeet despite knowing that he loves Heer. Tanya replied that she also loves Jeet, so how could her love be less than his.
Heer assured Jasmin that she would take care of her and changed the topic by asking about her unborn baby. Jasmin received a call from Gurmeet, so Heer requested her to go home and rest.
Heer realized that she had been worried about Naina throughout the marriage and understood that all the incidents might be connected, with the same person behind them. She thought that to reach Kuldeep’s murderer, she first had to find the one behind Naina’s disappearance. Tanya told Teji that she should think about herself and not Heer. Teji instructed her to pick up the chair and explained to Tanya how something as old as Jeet’s love for Heer is much stronger than her newly developed love for him. She urged Tanya not to stay in vain and hugged her.
Heer gave fruits to a beggar on the road and received blessings from her. She noticed someone in a car, and Jarnail hid his face upon noticing Heer around. However, Heer went to the front of the car to tell the lady to adjust her veil. Jarnail followed Heer and decided to kill Naina if he found her when Heer met her. Jarnail followed with a guy on the road and missed seeing where Heer had gone. Heer reached Naina’s house and met Kammo, who asked her to try to bring back Naina’s memories and encourage her to talk.
Heer asked Kammo if she had given the address to anyone else and told her to keep it hidden so that no one could reach Naina. Jarnail looked around for Naina and questioned people if anyone with a burnt face lived there. He saw a girl wearing a purple suit and got triggered again. He grabbed her by the neck, and Jeet, who was nearby, heard the commotion too. People made Jarnail leave the girl, and he apologized. Jeet asked what had happened and helped save Jarnail from the locals. Heer tried to make Naina remember her past to uncover the truth.
