Teji brings Heer inside the house with support. While walking, Heer gets hurt, and Ranjha considers supporting her but refrains. Jarnail feels frustrated. Mr. Atwal promises Beant Singh that Heer will stay like a daughter in Atwal Mansion. Beant and his family return home. In her room, Heer recalls memories with Kuldeep, crying over his confessions and promises. Overwhelmed, she throws away everything, and Ranjha, sensing her distress, rushes to her room. Teji stops him, advising to let Heer express her emotions freely.
Teji, observing Ranjha’s stress, assures him that she considers Heer a younger sister and will take care of her. Mr. Atwal expresses sorrow, feeling that whoever he loves gets separated from him. He opens his pagdi, but Ranjha stops him, suggesting that opening it implies being upset with Babaji, so they shouldn’t do it. Kuldeep’s father regrets his loss and inability to fulfill his responsibilities. Ranjha consoles him, urging him not to lose strength.
Ranjha, missing his mother’s photograph, reties his turban, recalling her words about a Sardar without a turban. Sartaj Singh Atwal promises to keep the turban tied, and Ranjha leaves, taking his blessing. Sartaj looks at Ranjha’s mother’s picture again. Rajwinder sits, crying, thinking of Kuldeep. Her friend provokes her against Heer. Teji, carrying food for Heer, stops her mother from interfering in household matters. Heer sitting and crying alone.
Gurmeet prays to God, expressing concern about how his sister will manage her life now. Beant Singh assures Gurmeet that he will bring Heer back home soon. Bhabhi encourages everyone to have faith in God and not lose hope. She tries to feed Heer, who questions why God is always testing her. She declares that whoever it is will pay the price for killing her husband.
Jarnail, haunted by the memory of the bullet hitting his brother, seeks forgiveness and punishes himself with a belt, unable to fathom the idea of hurting his brother. Teji notices bruise marks on Jarnail and questions the need for such self-punishment. Jarnail explains that he blames himself for not saving Kuldeep. Teji challenges his blame on Heer, and Jarnail, consumed by grief, insists that she is the reason for his brother’s death. Teji warns Jarnail to think before misbehaving with her, emphasizing that she doesn’t want to stay with him and is only there for her children.
Teji urges Jarnail to respect Heer because his brother genuinely loved her, and she understands the pain of not receiving love. Rajwinder, overwhelmed, breaks a model of the factory, declaring everything is ruined, and instructs everyone to leave. Heer decides to visit the place where Kuldeep was shot, hoping to find hints about his murderer.
Heer attempts to cook Khichdi but struggles with the ingredients. She prays to God for help and receives a call from Jeet. Heer, facing a cooking dilemma, seeks Jeet’s assistance, as she doesn’t know how to cook. Jeet says I called you to know about Simran. Heer says she is better than before but I’m facing another problem. Jeet asks her about her problem assures her and provides instructions on cooking Khichdi, guiding her step by step. The call is on speaker, and Heer follows Jeet’s guidance.
Rajwinder expresses her displeasure, stating she has never eaten such tasteless food. She believes Kuldeep took her appetite with him.
Jeet continues to guide Heer, instructing her to mix daal, rice, and masala in the cooker. He emphasizes the importance of adding special ingredients and closing the cooker properly. Jeet reflects on how times have changed, with Heer now cooking for her family instead of the other way around. He advises Heer to turn off the gas after 2-3 whistles.
Simrit praises Heer’s Khichdi, comparing it favorably to pasta. Heer feeds Simrit, and she asks Teji to taste it. Teji appreciates the delicious taste. Heer decides to feed her mother-in-law, Rajwinder, but faces resistance.
Rajwinder questions Heer’s entry and rejects the idea of eating her cooked food. She suggests giving it to servants or dogs. Heer challenges her assumption, stating that the bowl cover is still on, so Rajwinder doesn’t know it’s Khichdi. Despite insults, Heer insists that Rajwinder eat a little to avoid falling ill. Teji’s mother joins in insulting Heer, but Teji defends her.
Heer cleverly mentions the possibility of Kuldeep bringing the Khichdi for Rajwinder. Rajwinder expresses her willingness to eat if Kuldeep asks. Heer plays a voice recording of Kuldeep, emotionally impacting Rajwinder. In a flashback, Heer reveals it was her plan to generate Kuldeep’s voice using AI. Teji supports Heer, emphasizing the good intentions behind the plan.
Rajwinder, moved by Kuldeep’s voice, agrees to eat the Khichdi. Heer convinces her that Kuldeep’s soul will find peace if she takes care of herself. Rajwinder listens to Kuldeep’s voice again and eats the entire Khichdi. Teji’s mother wonders how the Khichdi got cooked when she removed the cooker before it was done. Teji appreciates Heer’s newfound responsibility, and Heer reveals that the special ingredient is cooking with God’s name.
