Carmen and Eliza meet on the border between Tijuana and San Diego. Max sells the house that he bought for Eliza, leaving her and the kids homeless.

Max finds out that Steve never made it to Madrid to visit Margo, and informs the police that he has gone missing. Eliza discovers that she’s pregnant.

Margo arrives in LA and goes to the hospital looking for Steve. Eliza and Max cross paths in the hospital but neither of them notices each other.

Steve is recovering from his surgery. Jennifer thinks she could be pregnant with Max’s child. Eliza and Sofia begin their bakery business together.

Sofia is taken to jail, where she calls Eliza and asks her to take care of Alondra. Jennifer decides to move to New York with Max and Charly.

Pastrana is released from police custody due to lack of evidence. Sofia pleads guilty to killing Irene.

Ten years have passed, and Alondra, now 17, stands before her mother’s grave. Andres is now working with Eliza at the bakery.
