Gangaa update 26 January 2020: Ganga fell in a dug hole in the midst of the field. She looks around and calls for help when soon she spots a snake.
Previous Saturday update on Gangaa
A lady of village had brought the idol, she narrates that she saw a lady digging it in fields yesterday. She discovered it today and brought her. Jhumki asks the lady if she appeared to be Ganga. The lady says she was really tall. Shiv thinks they must have believed in Ganga, he needs to speak to her. Kushaal comes to inform Shiv that Ganga is nowhere in Math.
A servant comes to inform Ganga was going towards the barren lands, the place is dangerous. Baba reminds Shiv to return till Pooja in an hour. Ganga was worried and wonders how to get out of here. The snake was moving there over the top.
Savitri brings the idol with Pratab. Pratab says Baba would never think about him, as Baba only told Shiv to come there. Kushaal pays a huge amount to the old lady for helping them. He looks towards Riya who asks him to go and help Shiv. Shiv runs towards the land where Ganga was trapped in the hole. He offers to hold his hand and come out.
Ganga was stubborn and denies. Shiv allows her to be as angry as she needs to be. Shiv struggles to make Ganga’s mood up and himself fell in the hole. He now accuses Ganga. Ganga complains he didn’t trust her and considered her as the culprit. Shiv clutches her arm asking to trust him, as he trusts her. He realizes at once and leaves her saying they have found the idol. He looks around for a way to get out of here. He suggests her to step over his shoulder and jump out, then give her hand to him.
There, everyone was waiting for Shiv. Savitri comes to tell Baba that he must let Pratab and Jhumki sit for Pooja as they can’t make delays anymore. Shiv helps Ganga get up, and tells her to go and get someone from Math. Ganga assures she won’t leave his hand. She lay down and pulls Shiv up to her full strength. Both were out of the hole now. The snake appears just from behind Shiv. He tries to clutch the snake but it bites Shiv. Shiv faints at once, Ganga initially tries to wake him up. She then ties him with a board and drags him.
There, Kushaal was looking for Shiv around. Radhika was worried, while Riya and Aashi assure her that Ganga and Shiv would soon return safely. Baba finally stands up, allowing Pratab and Jhumki to come forward for Pooja. All at once, they hear Ganga calling Baba near. She had dragged Shiv on a board, and tells Baba Shiv was bitten by a snake. Baba holds Shiv’s hand saying he would be saved, he sends Shiv inside and prepares medicine for him.
Ganga feeds the medicine to Shiv, sure it would act instantly. Kushaal takes Riya outside.
Kushaal apologizes Ganga, as the family distrusted her. Shiv believed on her and said Ganga can’t do this, he left behind her as soon as the idol was found as well. Ganga later comes across Savitri, Savitri asks Ganga what she got doing this all? Ganga says she got her husband’s trust, which means greater than anything for her.
Shiv opens his eyes, Radhika asks if he is fine. Shiv replies he is fine. Everyone was happy. Ganga thanks Baba for saving Shiv. Baba says Shiv is alive only because of Ganga, Shiv has been lucky to have a wife like hers again. For him, Ganga has one all the testimonies and challenges till now, as she fulfilled all her responsibilities well.
He was testifying Ganga, and his faith over Ganga has increased. He tells Shiv he has got his Parvati back. Shiv sits up, Ganga bends to take Baba’s blessings, and pays her with price money. Ganga joins her hands saying she is not a good wife, she doesn’t remember anything from her past life, even the rounds she had taken with Shiv.
Baba says the promises at the time of wedding are not important but fulfilling them, still he is ready to remind them of those promises. He asks Shiv and Ganga to hold each other’s hands, Shiv comes to take Ganga’s hand in his. Baba reads the seven vows.
He reminds Shiv to remember fulfilling his vows and promises. Shiv nods approvingly. The family was happy, Baba takes a leave from them. He says he is happy that Ganga has taken his Parvati’s place. Ganga and Shiv take his blessings.
At home, Ganga was shocked to see Kushal and Riya in kitchen late night. Kushal asks for forgiveness from Ganga, as Riya was the one to steal the idol. Riya is apologetic and wants to hold her feet. Riya looks towards Kushal, Ganga doesn’t let her bend. Kushal says he made the lady up to take the blame over herself, he had realized why Riya did this.
He has been unable to give Riya a child, he feels guilty from Ganga but requests her not to share this with anyone. Ganga tells Kushal to get a child to Riya soon that is his punishment. Riya smiles. Kushal thanks Ganga as they leave.
At night, Ganga lay on her floor bedding when Shiv comes there. He tells Ganga to go and sleep inside the room. Ganga doesn’t move and lay there awake. Shiv says she doesn’t need to sleep outside. Ganga says she would sleep here. Shiv remembers Baba’s words about fulfilling his promises. He smiles then lay to sleep, Ganga was also happy.
Jhumki was collecting cow dung. She spots Riya going outside and wonders where Riya is headed to, so early. Riya ties something with the tree and prays to give this family its heir. Jhumki goes put on cow dung over the cloth piece.
Ganga wakes up of light and finds tea and biscuits near her. She watches Shiv having tea already, and says he prepared it for Ganga as she is hungry at morning. Ganga offers him a biscuit, it fell of his hand. Both bend to pick it up together and hit their heads, Ganga hits head again saying hitting heads once is not right. Shiv laughs, both look towards each other enjoying tea together.
Aashi was with a boy cautious of Pratab’s presence behind. She sends the guy as Pratab leaves.
Ganga was trying to place cow dung over the wall but it repeatedly fall. She throws it away out of anger. Shiv comes there, and promises to teach her prepare an Upla. He tells her to kneed it well first, then mix some straws with it. He hands it to her and throw it over the wall. She makes an attempt, Shiv corrects her in her hands.
He at once realizes being close to Ganga. Ganga was excited and asks him to correct her. Shiv looks around, then thoughtfully comes behind her and places one with her over the wall. Ganga was happy and cheers that few things are best done together, she turns to make another Upla. Shiv denies any companionship and leaves. Ganga’s Upla fell from the wall again.
Later, Shiv hears Ganga telling Radhika about her likings, saree as dress, green as color and rice and daal as food, jhumkay and necklace as jewelry. Radhika asks Ganga why she gave away her jewelry if she likes it so much. Ganga says the lady needed that jewelry, and the smile over her face was priceless. Radhika asks if we like someone, should we give them gifts. Ganga says that’s one way to show out love for others. Radhika inquires how many gifts she got, Ganga replies none. Kushal was watching Shiv hear this conversation and says Radhika has a point.
Jhumki comes to Savitri with a good news that she will look for a good proposal for Aashi, her relatives have found a guy for Aashi and wants to come home. Savitri tells her to invite them in the evening. She sends Shiv to go and shop for Aashi today.
Jhumki prays Aashi’s proposal is fixed. Jhumki stops Aashi and excites her about the proposal. Aashi says she doesn’t want to marry, she has been turned into a joke and doesn’t want to hear a no anymore. Ganga goes to speak to Aashi.
In the room, Aashi was crying and tells Ganga to go away. Ganga says alright, but no one here wants her to see her crying. Aashi says no one cares for her, they only wants to get rid of her. Ganga says everyone wants her happy. She must do whatever makes her happy. Aashi confirms if she should do what makes her happy? Ganga assures.
Savitri comes asking what she is teaching Aashi about and tells her to stay away from Aashi. She clarifies to Aashi to come to the guests, if they like the proposal they will fix her marriage there. Aashi leaves saying she has to go to her friend for study.
Jhumki was carrying Uplay, and finds Riya’s tied cloth piece on the tree.
She wonders what was there in it. Kushal watches Jhumki there and shouts from a rolled newspaper (amplifying his voice) for her to stop. Jhumki was afraid of the voice as it deterred to burn her if she moves closer to tree. He says he is aware of Jhumki’s acts as she had mixed Bhang in Laddu. Jhumki asks for his blessings, and a son.
Kushal demands gajar ka halwa prepared by her for ten regular days in return. Jhumki promises to prepare it. Kushal says if it’s tasty she would surely get a prize. Jhumki leaves, Kushal boasts he would have a party each night.
In the market, Kushal forces Shiv to buy at least one saree for Shiv. Shiv was warmly welcomed in the shop. He didn’t understand the cloth variety. Kushal asks to show the best of saree. Shiv selects one. Kushal tells Shiv his choice is really good, Ganga would be happy getting this. Shiv recalls Ganga’s favorite color was green and asks for a green saree. He selects a green one. Kushal whispers to Shiv Ganga would really like this green saree.
Ganga was returning from tailor with Aashi’s blouse. She finds Aashi standing behind a tree, and asks what Aashi is doing here. Aashi’s boyfriend had hidden under the cement bench. Aashi says she had been waiting for her friend, but she won’t come. Ganga makes Aashi up to meet the guests, then do what she wish for. The guy begin walking behind them. Ganga speaks to her about the saree.
Shiv comes home with the saree and wonders where to place it. Ganga comes home to find Shiv there. She asks if he wants something, then passes by the bag without noticing. Shiv stops her, then holds the bag to her telling her it’s for her. Ganga accepts it happily. A servant comes to call Shiv out, he goes to check the map of village’s new school.
Savitri stops Shiv and tells him to return soon, as there are guests at home. Shiv says he will try his best to reach home, but if he gets a bit late Ganga would take care of everything. He stops in the middle and takes a leave. Savitri instructs Ganga to clean silver utensils well. Ganga nods and leaving the saree goes to clean the utensils. There on the balcony she hears someone speaking.
She finds Aashi with her boyfriend there and goes to ask Aashi who this is. Aashi says he studies in her college and a friend, he came to get notes. Ganga questions why she brought her in balcony, else she would tell everyone. Aashi tells Ganga this is Prakash and they love each other.
Jhumki was speaking on phone when she finds the three of them in balcony. Ganga wasn’t ready to hear anything from Aashi and tells her to go downstairs. She then asks Prakash if he loves Aashi and wants to marry her. He stammers approvingly. Ganga tells him to come downstairs and tell the family. He wasn’t ready to do it now.
Ganga asks why he didn’t clarify he is just having a time pass with Aashi. She warns him to never be found near Aashi, else her brothers would break his hands. Prakash leaves from the wall. Ganga calls Shiv and thinks before something goes wrong she must tell Shiv about it.
