Mannu takes Amba to the shade. Amba asks what is this place. Mannu says friend’s place, Raj and I meet here, he is my friend, if you feel strange, we can go Gurudwara. Gunjan refuses to stay here, and says I want to go my home. Mannu says we will go home, everything will get fine. Gunjan says yes, Bebe will get fine and call us back, when will this happen, you make big promised, you said this for tender, what happened, all went wrong.
Amba says what are you saying Gunjan, you are elder, he is young, he always does something, is it his responsibility. Gunjan says no, its your responsibility, you should have signed and given what Jagan wants, atleast something good will happen. Mannu says if Jagan gets power, he will ruin everything, even if Amba signs, Sushila won’t let us stay there. Simran asks Sushila? Amba says yes, she trapped Mannu and got tender for Jagan. Mannu says we will win, we will go back home.
Gunjan asks will you fool Jagan that he calls us back home. Mannu says yes, we have to trap Jagan in his web. Simran asks what are you thinking. Mannu says Jagan told about Amba and Harjeet, he lied in panchayat, we have to make this lie a truth. Amba says no, I won’t lie and won’t let you lie. Mannu says we have make Jagan sure that his lie is true. Amba says no, I won’t let you lie, I don’t have to do anything with Harjeet, I will die but not take help from him, I swear on Charan.
Amrit asks Raman what are you doing. Raman says can’t we give them two blankets, they are staying out in cold. She says you know what can happen. Raman says if you don’t want to help them, fine, but don’t stop me. Harjeet comes and Raman collides. Harjeet asks where are you taking this. Amrit says I asked Raman to put this in sunlight. Harjeet scolds her and raises hand.
Raj holds Harjeet’s feet and apologizes, saying I always felt you are bad, you are very nice, your heart is of gold, everyone wins, real person is one who can manage failure, you lost tender, even then you did not do bad to Jagan and family, I understood it needs courage, I want to become like you. Harjeet gets puzzled and holds Raj to bless him. Amrit and Raman cry. Harjeet says fine and goes. Amrit asks Raj. Raj says no use to fight with Papa, maybe if we talk to him like this, he can agree to us. Amrit says you became smart, how do you think this. Raj says Mannu told me this idea, can’t we let them stay hungry in cold. Raman says please mummy…. Amrit nods.
Amrit, Raman and Raj go to the shade. Amba sees them. Raman says it gets cold at night, so mummy ji thought to get blankets for you all. Amrit says we got food for you. Mannu goes to accept. Amba asks him not to take anything. Amrit says I know, you don’t want to take any help from Bajwas, food is Lord’s blessing, atleast let kids have food, why to drag them in this fight. Amba says I understand, you were helpless to give wrong statement in panchayat, I m helpless today and can’t take Bajwas’ help.
Amba refuses to take Amrit’s help. Mannu says but mummy, we are breaking Charan’s dream like this, he wanted we all to be friends and maintain peace, why are we getting enmity between us, this is wrong. Amba says I m going to find work, so that this question does not arise again. She goes. Amrit and Raman leave. Raj asks what will we do now, your mummy does not want to take help. Mannu says don’t worry, I m Shah, I can’t lose, I have to find out about Bebe and try to make her fine.
Mannu goes home. He sees Sushila coming. Sushila calls out Raavi saying she is going to market. She leaves. Mannu goes to Bebe and cries. He asks her to get up. He hears Jagan coming and hides under the bed. Jagan gets injection and it falls down. Jagan gets down to pick injection. Mannu gets tensed. Raavi asks Jagan to come and have tea. He says coming. Bebe’s hand moves. Jagan gives her injection.
Bebe’s hand does not move. Mannu looks on and says what happened to Bebe. Jagan leaves. Mannu says Bebe was getting conscious, what happened then after getting injection, did she faint by injection.
Amba goes to get job and meets someone. He says I m seeing you after a long time. She says everyone knows about me and Jagan, can you help me with some work. He says its not a big favor. He holds her hand and smiles. She gets angry. The man talks dirty and asks her to take money. He says I m taking big risk by helping you, you keep me happy. She gets shocked and shouts on him.
His wife comes and asks Amba what are you doing here. Amba says I was helpless and came to ask for work, but he is thinking something else. She scolds the man. His wife scolds Amba and says she is blaming my good husband, she is characterless and tried to kill Bebe for Harjeet’s sake. She asks Amba to get lost. Amba cries and goes.
Sushila stops Amba and says its very bad, why don’t you agree to Jagan than getting insulted like this. She acts sweet and says I m like your mum, do as Jagan says, come back home with respect.
Raj says why is Mannu getting late. Mannu comes and tells Raj that Bebe fainted after Jagan gave her injection. Raj says then we will know after checking injection, if my Papa told truth, this would have got fine. Mannu says we tried a lot. Raj says its like tiger story, no one came at real time to get help. Mannu likes the idea and says we will tell Jagan that Harjeet and Amba is meeting, when people does not see them, they will believe it was all fake, I will try to make Bebe fine, then everything will be fine.
Simran calls out Mannu. Raj leaves. Mannu goes to Simran. Amba cries and thinks of Jagan’s words. Amba says you promised me that you will get my respect back, will you fulfill the promise. He says yes. Amba says I will do what all you say, I have to go back home, I want my respect and honor back at any price. Mannu hugs her. Simran too hugs Amba. Amba cries. Jagan comes and asks what is happening. Sushila says I told everything to Jagan, that none is helping Amba. She asks Amba to agree, and settle the matter.
Jagan and Sushila see the things there. Jagan asks how did you get these things, tiffin and blankets. Mannu goes to Jagan and says it came from Harjeet’s house. Jagan and Sushila get shocked. Jagan gets angry and leaves. Sushila says you all spoiled everything, and leaves.
Amba asks Mannu what are you saying. Mannu says you said, you will do what I say, I used used this chance, now see what how I make this lie a truth. Gunjan says I feel this is wrong, its big problem, enough Mannu, are you mad, did you remember we are out of home by this lie, why is mummy agreeing to him, sign on papers and agree to Jagan. Mannu asks what can we do, what I m doing is tough, there won’t be any fight, either we will get insulted and go out of village, or go home with respect.
Sushila ask Jagan why is he worried. Jagan says did you not see what items Harjeet got for Amba, he threatened me when he lost tender, that he will prove my lie about Amba true, he said he will get Amba on his side, he is doing that. She asks did you see dog. He says you made me duck and now dog. She says its easy to explain. She says how dog does when you kick him, become a big dangerous dog instead a puppy.
She says you are thinking what Mannu wants, how can you do this. He says I trust Amba, but not Harjeet, no one from Pavaniyas will help Amba, some Bajwa did this, he will help when Harjeet agrees, if Amba melts seeing her children hungry. She says just focus on your mum, I m sure its not true.
Its morning, Raj, Raman, Mannu and Simran meet in school. Raj says we have to make my dad sure that Amba likes him, how will we do this. Mannu says we will do that, leave it on me, I will take Sukhi’s help. Sukhi sees Mannu and Raj together. He says we are enemies, how are they together. Mannu makes Sukhi hear them. Mannu says we all will have icecream together, see Simran and Raman are also together.
Raj says we will be like brothers. Mannu says yes, I will share everything with you. Raj says yes, all family together. Sukhi says Mannu, I m your brother, take me along to have icecream. Mannu says no, we can’t take any enemy, your Papa made us out of house, so you are my enemy.
Raj says Mannu is going to become Bajwa, you are Pavaniya, you are my enemy, go from here. Sukhi goes. Mannu says he will help us. Raj says now Sukhi will tell Jagan, but how will my dad come to get icecream for us. Mannu says he will come when he knows Raman is helping Simran, this plan has to workout. They all leave from school.
Sukhi goes home and says I want to have icecream. Jagan calls him mad. Sukhi cries and says Mannu and Raj are going. Raavi says he fooled you, he has no money. Sukhi says no, Raj’s Papa is getting icecreams for them, everyone will go there. Jagan says who told this to you. Sukhi says I have seen Mannu and Raj talking, they said just family is going and I can’t come. Jagan asks Sushila did she hear this. Sushila says no, I can’t believe that Harjeet and Amba can unite. Jagan says we will go and see, its small thing. Sushila says I think Mannu is fooling you, have rest, take this lassi, there is nothing, trust me.
Harjeet asks Raj why did you get me here. Raj shows the piggy bank and says I have saved money in this and want to buy something for my hero. Harjeet asks which hero. Raj says you are my hero, I have seen a beautiful pagdi for you, Mannu’s Papa’s Kalgi is on it, it will suit you, I want to show my hero to everyone. Harjeet gets pleased and asks do you want something. Raj says no, I came here with you for the first time, I don’t want anything else.
Harjeet lifts him and drops him down the car. Amba asks Mannu why did you get us here. Mannu sees Raj and Harjeet coming. He says you said yes for our plan. She asks what plan. He thinks it will be in trouble if Jagan does not come.
Sushila says Mannu is fooling me. Jagan asks her to understand. Mannu asks Amba are you ready. She asks what are you doing. Mannu puts her dupatta inside the sugarcane juice machine and asks Amba to shout for help. She says I can get this out myself. He asks her to shout. Amba shouts for help as Mannu and Simran ask her to shout. Harjeet sees Amba. Mannu signs other man not to help Amba. Sushila and Jagan come there and see them. The man greets Jagan and asks what happened, shall I help.
Harjeet says mad Pavaniyas. Mannu says someone help. Is there no man in this pind? Raj says my dad is hero, he does not want to stain hand by helping Pavaniya, there is no one better than him. Mannu says people have to help others to become man. Harjeet says stop it and goes to help Amba. Harjeet stops the machine and holds Amba’s dupatta to pull it out of the machine. Jagan and Sushila look on.
Sushila says how can this happen. Mannu says don’t worry, everything will be fine. Amba says lets go home. Mannu makes her fall. Harjeet holds her hand. Harjeet and Amba see each other. Jagan and Sushila get shocked. Amba sees the Kalgi on Harjeet’s Pagdi. Mannu signs Raj. They both smile.
Amba goes with Mannu and Simran. Simran asks Amba to turn back and see Harjeet. Amba refuses. Mannu asks Amba to see atleast Raj, Harjeet has lifted him for the first time. Amba turns and sees Raj. Harjeet also turns and sees her. Sushila and Jagan get shocked. Amba says what are you guys making me do.
Jagan says how dare Harjeet did this. Sushila asks him to call Amba back home. Amba leaves. Jagan stops Amba and says you showed your status, is there any shame or not, you are doing this with Harjeet in the middle of the market. Mannu thinks I did not think that, what will mummy do if Jagan reacts like this. Amba says why are you having a problem, its happening which you told the entire village, I have nothing to lose, you have made me reach this place, I will do anything to raise my children, you have no right to say in between. Mannu says you can’t talk to my mummy like this, our relations ended after you made us leave from the house, you don’t have signing authority too, if you want that rights, call panchayat and say anything you want. Jagan fumes.
Sushila asks Mannu to take Amba home. She leaves with Jagan. Mannu and Simran take Amba. Amba cries on the way. Mannu asks why are you crying, you showed much courage. Amba says I did not see anyone except your Papa, and today I had to do this in the middle of the market. Mannu says Papa is seeing everything, he would be glad seeing we know to fight for our rights. She says promise me, you will get Charan’s brooch and my respect back. Mannu promises. they all hug.
