Tuesday update on The Heir 25th June 2019
Sukhi is been punished by the teacher. The teacher asks about the natural resources. Mannu recalls Amba teaching him about natural resources. Mannu asks the teacher if he can say it. The teacher says yes. Mannu gets down the bench and takes a water glass. He throws the water away and says water flows from up to down, and can’t go back to glass, it takes the shape of a container. The teacher says you did this today, if I ask about fire, will you burn the class. The kids laugh. Mannu gets sad. Jagan gives Mannu’s picture to the peon and asks him to keep an eye on Mannu, he says you have to do your work when no one sees him. He gives the peon some money and says Veeru is always with Mannu, be careful as Veeru is clever. Veeru waits for Mannu outside the school. He is worried and thinks someone is following him. He sees someone and goes to see who it was. He gets shocked seeing Amba and says you, what are you doing here, I was worried thinking who is following us. Amba says I came to see Mannu. Veeru says I came with Mannu, don’t you trust me. Amba says I trust you, Mannu did not stay away from me so I came to see him, don’t get annoyed. Veeru asks Amba what will she will tell Manu at home, that her fear can get his secret out, Veeru says I’m with him, trust me, I’m outside his class, bad days are over, Mannu will fulfill everyone’s dream. Amba thinks of waiting as Simran will come. Veeru says Mannu is fine and signs Amba to go. She leaves.
Swaroop and Raman reach the school. Swaroop sees only boys and says I feel you can’t become a Romeo, there is no girl here, everyone said girls will get permission to study after 8th class. Raman says it was good if I sat with dad. They laugh. Raman smiles seeing a girl. He runs to see her. Swaroop asks him to have some tiffin. He gives her a flying kiss. She leaves. Raman goes towards the building to see that girl. Its Simran. Raman’s friend stops him and asks him how did he come to school today. Raman asks his friend to give him a seat and his friend pushes him. Raman falls down and sees the girl stepping inside the class. Music plays………………. Raman gets up and sees her face. He gets mesmerized seeing Simran. Hua hai aaj pehli baar…………….plays……………… The guys say a girl in our class and they all smile seeing her. Raman asks his friend to move, and sits. The guys ask Simran to sit beside them and give her seat. She gets tensed. The guy says girls will study in our class, it means more girls will come. Another guy holds her dupatta and teases her. The teacher comes and scolds all of them. The teacher asks Simran to sit, the students asks does she need special seat. She says seat is not vacant. The teacher says you are not getting place in this big class. He asks her to sit at the second last bench. Simran says so far. The teacher asks her to sit in his chair. She goes to that bench. The teacher asks her name. She asks are you asking me. He says yes. She says my name is Sim… The guy says we hope more girls will come and they laugh. Raman says you made me miss to hear her name. Raman looks at her. Amba waits for Mannu. Deena worries for Simran and says don’t know whether any other girl came there or not, she will be alone. Amba thinks I have sent Mannu too, Mannu does not know her identity, Mannu has gone for the first time, don’t know how Mannu is over there. Mannu recalls the teacher’s words and is sad. Veeru goes to him and takes him along. Mannu sees the kids playing and recalls Amba’s words. He thinks what his mother said was right, I won’t come to school from tomorrow. Amba cooks food and thinks maybe Mannu liked the school. She prays for Mannu.
Amba waits for Mannu. Deena asks Amba what happened. Amba says Mannu should have been back by now. A man comes to get the junk items. Deena says you checked the door ten times, you have not sent Mannu abroad, everyone goes to school, your son is not the only one, go and cook food. Amba makes the food. Deena says good smell is coming, what are you cooking. Amba says I made Mannu’s favorite food. Deena asks her to give desi ghee halwa to Raavi too. Amba says yes, I made lots of halwa for everyone. Deena asks Amba where are you going now, will you go to school now, he will come, Veeru has gone with him. Veeru and Mannu come home. Amba asks Mannu how was your first day at school. Mannu is upset and goes to his room. Deena says I think he got tired, he has no habit to go to school. Amba asks Veeru to come, I will show what I cooked for Mannu. She asks Veeru why is Mannu upset, did anyone know anything. He says everything is fine. She takes food for Mannu. Raavi says even my Sukhi goes to school and does not get tired. Deena says Sukhi does not do work hard. Two girls come to class and the guys pass comments. Raman looks at Simran. The girl scolds the guy, and others laugh. the girl says we are studying because of Simran, who wanted to study ahead. The two girls trouble Simran. Amba sees Mannu sleeping. Veeru says I think he slept. She asks is Mannu fine, did anything happen in school. Veeru says no, else he would have told me. Amba checks Mannu and says he has no fever. Veeru recalls Amba’s words and says a mum’s prayers is always affective, you prayed that he does not like school, you think was that prayer right or wrong. Amba thinks Mannu is bearing her lie’s punishment and hugs Mannu.
The two girls cut Simran’s dupatta and her dress too. Simran gets shocked and stands against the wall. The girls ask her to hide her body from everyone now, you like to study right. She throw Simran’s dupatta. Raman sees all this. The girls leave. Simran gets worried seeing Raman walking to her. She asks what are you doing, don’t come close, else I will shout and hit you. He gives his bag to her, and says keep this, you can put this at back and cover your body by this. She takes his bag and runs from the class. She gets her book and smiles seeing a sunflower in it. Raj’s brother asks him to do his homework. Raj asks him a question and says I will do your homework all month. Raj’s brother answers wrong. Raj asks him to check the book. His brother gets angry and takes his book back. Simran recalls the incident and sits stitching her dress. Gunjan comes there and asks her to come and have food. She asks whose bag is this. Simran gets tensed and takes the bag. Gunjan says this is not your bag. Simran says I got it in school to keep bags, come we have to help mummy. Amba makes Mannu ready like a girl and smiles. Waaris…….plays…………… Mannu asks her to make her ready first. Amba sees her daughter in Mannu and smiles. She holds Mannu’s face. Mannu asks for bottle. Amba’s imagination ends. Mannu asks what are you thinking, give me the bottle. Mannu leaves with Veeru.
Mannu and Sukhi are in class. Sukhi fools the teacher, and gets caught. The teacher punishes him. The teacher asks Mannu to show his book and homework. Mannu says if school is there to study, why shall we go home and study. The teacher punishes him too. The peon sees Mannu and recalls Jagan’s words.
Mannu and Harjeet’s son get punished. Veeru talks to Mannu and asks him not to worry, this is school’s fun. The peon sees Mannu and checks the pic, recalling Jagan’s words. Simran returns the bag to Raman and thanks him. he says my name is Raman, whats your name. She asks why do you want to know. He says everyone has a name. She says think I m just classmate, I thanked you as you helped me. She goes. He thinks why is she rude. The boys ask Mannu why did he not do his homework. Mannu says my mummy asked me not to talk to anyone. The boys feel bad and leave. Sukhi asks Mannu to come along. Veeru says you go, Mannu will go with me. Amba worries for Mannu and thinks how long will she hide the secret. She makes the oil fall, and prays for Mannu. Veeru and Mannu walk on the road. A man asks Veeru for some address. The auto driver asks Mannu to sit, I will drop you home. Mannu sits sand says let Mama come. Veeru runs after Mannu. Mannu shouts for Veeru. Veeru sees a man with a gun, and takes his gun. He runs after the auto. Mannu shouts to Veeru. Veeru goes by the rough way and comes infront of the auto. He shoots at the auto and the driver runs. Mannu hugs Bheeru. Veeru asks who was he, did you know him. Mannu says no. Veeru asks him not to go with anyone like this from next time and he will not tell mummy, she will worry. Veeru thinks who was he who wanted to kidnap Mannu. Deena makes Amba clean the room and find dead rat which is stinking in the room. Amba says I have to cook food for Mannu. Deena asks her to find the rat first. Amba finds the rat.
Mannu comes home sad. Amba asks what happened. Veeru says his mood is bad. Deena says he will get fine, your decision to send him to school is right, he will learn to protect himself, how long will you and Veeru look after him. Veeru thinks if Amba comes to knows what happened today, she will worry. Raj goes to help Amrit and she hides her face. He gets sad seeing her face hurt. Her other son Rohan comes and scolds Raj. Amrit scolds Rohan and asks him to leave Raj. Rohan says I will tell Papa and then your other eye will also get red. Swaroop slaps Rohan and scolds him for misbehaving with Amrit. She sends him out. Mannu cries and recalls what happened in school. He tells Amba that school is bad as the teacher scolded him and the kids are also bad, I won’t go to school, I will study at home. Amba recalls Veeru’s words.
